With steady breaths, Marc almost fell asleep. That's why the sound of someone saying his name startled him. He flinched at Chris's voice and opened his eyes to see his cousin sit down beside him. "Oh, hey, Chris." He blinked and ran a hand through his combed hair. He wasn't really close to any of his cousins. The only person in his family he was able to really talk to, and even then it wasn't everything, was Lucy, his twin sister.
"Um, so, how are you holding up? You aren't trying to do the heroic thing and be strong for everyone, are you?" he put on a huge fake grin. "Is Wyatt okay? Saw him around earlier. It's not getting better for him. I wish there was something I could do that would maybe take away some of his obligations or something, you know? It can't be easy for him to be the head of the family now." Marc sat straight up against the chair and was facing Chris, but his eyes were never settled on the person directly, always a centimeter to the side.

Chris let out a small laugh when Marc mentioned the heroic thing. That's exactly what he was doing. His smile however turned into a sad face when Marc mentioned Wyatt... Chris wished he could say that Wyatt was doing alright, but he wasn't...
"I wish I could say that Wyatt's doing ok, but he's not... I swear it's like he's pissed off all the time. I don't even know what to do anymore. I wanna help him, but I dunno how."
Chris didn't know why he was spilling his guts to Marc. He would never talk to Marc about something serious like this. He considered Marc as his little cousin. He figured now that the cousins were all there was left to the Halliwell family, they needed to start becoming closer. All they had were each other.
"How are you coping with everything? How's Lucy holding up?"
********************************************************
Camille rubbed Wyatt's arm as he talked about how much he hated the Elders. Camille understood what he was going through. She cursed the Elders after her own parents died. She also cursed her magic. She didn't see the point in continuing to practice... She couldn't let Wyatt think the same way though... He was special... Unlike her...
"I know it's hard... But you just gotta stay strong ok..."
When Wyatt began to talk about how much he loved her and how he never wanted her to leave him, Camille could feel the tears beginning to well in her eyes. She touched Wyatt's face and looked into his eyes.
"You will never lose me Wyatt... I will never leave you..."

At least Marc saw something that was going on with his family, that was a good sign. Out of everyone, he really was the "old man out", if you will. Wyatt and Chris where close and Melinda was close with them. Melinda, Prue, and Lucy were very close too. Marc was close to his twin. That was it. He didn't want to really be with his family, though, if that meant anything. It was easier for Marc to be with his friends and with girls than his family. It was easier to pretend.
"I guess it makes sense. He's the one with the healing power, but he couldn't heal them. Wyatt puts too much pressure on himself, but if you try to tell him that, he totally flips on you and says some bullsh!t. Especially now. I've heard him going on about this 'twice blessed' thing. He doesn't get we've got powers, too. We're Warren witches, too. But, no. He's ego gets the best of him and we can't help." Okay, so that was all coming on very bitter. But, it was true. The girls had kickass powers. Wyatt and Chris were the eldest and did most of the fighting. Marc went to school, well, in body. Not always in spirit. And he could read the answers to the tests from the students, but no one knew that.
Then Chris asked about him and Lucy. Marc shrugged. "I'm okay. Deep breaths work," he smiled his usual, fake smile. "Lucy," he sighed. "She hurt, but she's been talking to the girls a lot, trying to help Melinda out, you know?"

Chris listened as Marc talked about Wyatt and how he would put all the pressure on himself because he was the twice blessed child. If it were any other person talking this way about Wyatt, Chris would defend his brother in a heart beat... But Marc was family, and who else knew you better other than your family?
"He's the oldest out of us all, which means he's the unofficial protector of us all... He was the one who could handle any situation... But not this... He does blame himself... It's just difficult to get him to see that it's not his fault."
Chris leaned back onto his chair and took a deep breath. He was lost with everything. He didn't know how he was going to handle everything. He turned to Marc when he talked about how he and Lucy were coping. Lucy was helping Melinda and Prue. Those three were inseparable at times... But Marc... He didn't have the tight bond with Wyatt and Chris...
"Yeah I know... Mel's been kinda quiet about this whole thing so far... I'm glad Lucy's been helping her out..."

"You gotta remember, Chris. We've lost our parents three years ago. Same with Prue. We all know what you guys feel about losing them. We just never had the opportunity like Wyatt does with his healing. We never stood a chance to get them back. But, no offense, Chris, I don't think you guys had a chance to get your parents back either. Be thankful Melinda's still with us."
Marc's hand went to his tie and loosened it up a bit. He was getting hot in the empty church. He looked at Chris's face and only saw sadness. Marc decided to concentrate and see what his cousin was thinking. He heard that Chris was grateful to Lucy for helping Melinda. Heard how worried he was for his brother. And he heard a bit about Chris's thought that reflected his own. So, everyone did know he was the odd man out. Oh well. As long as they didn't start to ask him how he felt or any other crap like that, it was okay with Marc.

Wyatt felt Camille rub his arm. It seemed no matter how angry or discouraged he felt. Camille could always make him feel at ease with a simple touch.
Wyatt remembered how she too felt angry with the elders. They were good for absolutely nothing except b*tching. Wyatt held his breath a second so he wouldn't get upset again. He did not want to ruin the moment with Camille.
"How can I?" Wyatt said looking straight at Camille. "You don't get it, I should have healed faster so I could at least get to mom. At least save one of my parents. It's hard to to do anything knowing everything you thought you knew is completely with out worth." Wyatt said hating his powers.
Wyatt then looked at Camille as the tears started to well up. "I'm sorry" he said wiping the tear in her eye. "I hope you do never leave me Camille, because you are the small part of me that is still alive"

Marc was right, the cousins had all lost their parents way before Piper and Leo had died. Mac and Lucy lost their parents in one shot... Chris wondered how Marc was able to keep a strong face through all of that. Chris was having a terrible time just trying to keep his own strong face up. In a way he admired Marc... Chris had Wyatt and Mel to help him through what was happening, but even though Marc had Lucy, Lucy would lean on her girl cousins... Marc at time had to get through everything alone... And he managed to keep his cool through everything. Chris admired him for that.
"I am thankful that we didn't lose Mel... If we'd lost her to, I dunno what I would have done... "
*******************************************************
Camille looked down at Wyatt's first words... She knew how he felt... He was lucky that he managed to save his sister... She just hoped he would see that he was lucky to still have her alive.
"Wyatt, your powers aren't useless. You manged to save your little sister... You should be thankful that she's still out there and breathing."
Camille felt her tear about to fall D*mn it1 I can't let him see me cry! She them felt his strong hand wipe her tear away.
"You are the small part of me that is still alive."
Those words touched Camille deep in her soul... She felt the exact same way about Wyatt... He was the only person keeping her alive inside... He was all she needed to keep her going... Sh would never leave his side...
"I will never leave you Wyatt... You are the reason I stay strong..."

They sat in silence for a moment. Again, Marc used his telepathic ability to see what Chris was thinking. It was the same thing that Marc had been thinking, and he was thankful that Chris bought his outward character. Obviously he was doing what he wanted and was getting away with it. He thanked god that he was so much like his mother. Some traits were useful. At least he thought so. It was better for him to appear to be so strong on the outside. If his family knew his pain, they would try to console him, and Marc didn't want their ... pity. He wanted to be happy and enjoy life. He wanted to forget the pain.
Marc sighed. "Yeah. We're all thankful that someone survived that attack. You kinda have to think about the other outcomes. I mean, look at Aunt Phoebe. She was crushed when Coop died and couldn't cope well. My parents died together. So did your parents. If it had been Melinda and say, your mom," he paused and shook his head. "I don't think Aunt Piper would have survived to lose Leo, her sisters, and her daughter. Nor could Leo stand to lose his wife and daughter. It really is for the best that Piper and Leo died together. Just gotta think of how much worse it could be," the ending came out in a whisper.

Melinda sat there quietly, staring around the church. She didn't know what to do, she had lost so many people from her family that she couldn't understand what her feelings were anymore. She pushed one of the strands of hair from her eye and sighed deeply. The oxygen flowing into her body and then leaving in relitively the same way. She looked up and saw her brothers talking so she slipped out of the church quietly, before crossing over to the park.
She sat down on one of the benches, and placed her hand bag next to her. She didn't want to do this anymore, she couldn't handle it. She had lost both of her parents, Wyatt was losing his marbles, why couldn't everything just go right for her?

Wyatt looked right into Camille's beautiful eyes. She was right he did save Mel. He did not even want to think, what would he would have felt if he lost her too.
“I know, I know. I am so glad I saved Mel. Honestly if I didn't I don't even know what I would be thinking.” Wyatt said in pain at the thought of losing his little sister.
“I'm just so glad she is alive” Wyatt said repeating himself.
Wyatt then looked back at Camille as she spoke about never leaving him.
“Me either, I love you so much and I'm not going anywhere. I need you more than you know. We need each other” Wyatt said with a weak smile. Then gently kissed Camille on the forehead. “Don't forget that okay?” he said getting up.
“I'm going to get some water and then find the others. I should probably find Mel after Chris is done with her. I'm worried about her I don't think she has spoke a word in days” Wyatt said with a sigh wishing he would have been there more for his siblings in the last few days.
Wyatt swallowed a bit as he turned around and quietly left the room. He was glad Camille had came looking for him. At least he felt somewhat better than he did before.

Chris took a few deep breaths and thought about what Marc had just said. At first Chris was angered by what he said, but when he thought about it more, Marc did have a point in what he was saying... It may have sounded really twisted and offensive to any other person, but Chris was anything but normal and neither were his cousins and siblings.
Yes, his Aunt Phoebe was crushed when she lost her husband, Coop. The shock of his sudden death completely changed her. She took her anger and frustrations out on her then 10 year old daughter, Prue. Chris never forgave his Aunt Phoebe for treating Prue the way she did. If his father and sister had died, Chris knew his mother would not have coped well with the deaths of her husband and only daughter. The same thing would have happened to his father. Out of the two, Piper was the stronger one. There was no way that Leo would ever have been able to lose his wife and daughter and be able to move on.
But, why did they both have to die? Chris was always being told that everything happened for a reason, but he was starting to doubt that... What good could possibly come out of both his mother and father dying... But Marc was right... It could have gone a LOT worse!
"As crazy as your explanation sounded Marc, you have a point. I don't think I ever forgave Aunt Phoebe for treating Prue the way she did after Uncle Coop died. If my mom were to have lost both my dad and Mel, she would have never recovered from it... "
********************************************************
Camille smiled as Wyatt kissed the top of her forehead. She loved him so much. And he was right, they did need each other. She knew she needed him to be there with her, and right now she knew he needed her to.
Camille didn't believe that their love was based on only dependency. She had grown up as an only child and was very independent and strong. When she lost her parents, she did lose her cool for a long time, but she managed to pull through (with Wyatt's help of course) and had managed to start living in her own apartment after her parents died. She also knew that deep inside, Wyatt was strong and that if he tried hard (and with Camille's love and support), he would also pull through this great tragedy because he still had a great destiny ahead of him... Camille was positive about that.
"I'll never forget it Wyatt... I know we need each other... Go find your sister... I'll wait here for a little while before I join you."
Camille watched as Wyatt left the room. She blew him a kiss and stood up. She walked to a nearby widow and looked outside. She placed her hand to the glass. Suddenly, the glass around her hand started to frost. Camille pulled her hand back. She hadn't used her powers in a REALLY long time and she did not mean to do that. She then started to feel really chilly. The chill only lasted a few seconds, so Camille brushed it off as nothing. She assumed it was her powers surfacing because she hadn't used them in such a long time. She turned around and left the room. She took a seat near the front of the church and waited for Wyatt.

Wyatt started heading toward the front of the church. He didn't seem to find Mel anywhere but Chris was sitting with their cousin Marc. He must have already found Mel, I hope she is doing okay. Wyatt thought as he headed towed his brother. Wyatt slowly made his way over before stopping in front of the two.
“Hey Chris do you have another minute?” Wyatt asked Chris sincerely. At least he did not sound angry like he had before. He knew he needed to make sure Mel and Chris were okay. Not the other way around. Even though it was so hard to pull together for even a minute. He was still worried.
Chris was dealing with Wyatt and Melinda but nobody had seen how Chris was coping, as far as Wyatt knew. Then Mel hadn't spoken since. She had locked herself in her room and refused to come out.

Chris stretched himself out. The church pews were really uncomfortable. He had only been sitting there a few minutes and could already feel his back beginning to ache.
"I don't understand how people can sit on these things... They're a chiropractor's dream"
Chris then saw his brother beginning to walk up to him and Marc. Chris steadied himself in case Wyatt was still angry. He hated this relationship with his brother. He hoped that things would begin to feel alright between the two. Chris looked up at his older brother but he didn't see as much anger in him than before.
D*mn... whatever Camille said to him sure worked.
"Hey Wy..."
When Wyatt asked if he had a minute, Chris's mind snapped back to his little sister. He still hadn't seen Melinda anywhere and was beginning to worry about her. He decided that he should try to find her. Chris turned back to his older brother.
"I'm sorry Wy, but I need to find Mel still... I haven't seen her enter the church. I should go see if she's alright."

Wyatt listened as Chris said he had not seen Melinda yet. That made him worry even more. Hopefully Chris would find her, he just hoped she was somewhat okay. He knew she wasn't, nobody was but at least somewhat.
“You haven't seen her yet? Maybe she is outside somewhere? Anyway, go talk with her she needs one of us and you are the strongest right now. I'm going to go find Camille again. See you in a little” Wyatt said walking off and taking a sit next to Camille.

"Yeah... The strongest..."
Chris said those words softly and to himself. He was the strongest out of them all... He sure as hell did not feel as if he was the strongest, but he took a deep breath and stood up.
"I'll be back soon... See ya Marc."
Chris then headed outside to look for his sister. At first he didn't spot her anywhere and was beginning to get scared that something had happened to her. He then noticed someone sitting down at a nearby park. Chris walked into the park to get a better look and saw his baby sister sitting down on the bench in the park. She looked like she was near tears.
Chris slowly approached her. He sat down next to her and put his arm around her.
"Hey Mel..."

"Leave me alone" Melinda said, pushing herself up from the bench. She ripped out her hair slide and launched it at the tree. It smashed, and covered the grass with little bits of plastic. "I CAN'T HANDLE THIS RIGHT NOW!" She screamed at him. Melinda didn't know what to do, she had lost her parents, all she wanted was revenge, but she knew what her brothers would do. She pushed back her hair, seriously regretting the hairslide movement.
She sat down on the bench next to Chris and sighed deeply. "I'm sorry" She whispered, leaning into his strong chest and sobbing quietly.

Chris jumped back as Melinda smashed her hair piece into a tree. He sighed to himself. Mel had every right to be angry. In fact, he was glad she was angry... He was thankful she was feeling some emotions instead of saying nothing or doing nothing for the past few days.
Chris sat still as Melinda began to yell at him. As he heard her yell out her pain and agony, he fought so hard to keep his tears from falling down his face. But he had to keep his cool for his sister's sake. He didn't wan to give her more reason to be upset.
As Mel sat down next to him, he pulled his baby sister into his arms and protected her... Just as he used to protect her when they were little. He held his sister close and let her cry.
"It's ok Mel... you don't have to be brave... You are allowed to cry and to be angry... You can't keep everything bottled up... It's ok... It's ok... It's ok..."

Wyatt sat next to Camille as they both waited. The funeral wasn't going to start for at least another half hour. Wyatt sighed wishing he could just get this whole ordeal over with. Wyatt put his arm around Camille as he started running his fingers though her hair. It made him feel more at ease and he hoped to relax her as well.
Wyatt stopped running his fingers in her hair, when he realized he needed to make a quick stop to the restroom before the service began. “Hey I'll be right back, I need to use the bathroom” Wyatt whispered in her ear.
Wyatt stood up and looked around real quick. He did not spot Chris or Melinda anywhere. Hopefully Chris had found her by now. Wyatt quickly made his way to the back of the church, making his way through the narrow hallway. Where the restrooms where at the end.
Wyatt's mind was preoccupied on his parents at the moment. As it started to sink more and more that they were dead. Wyatt didn't realize his cousin Prue heading his way and accidentally shouldered her. Wyatt realized he had just knocked into someone and stopped thinking a moment.
“Oh sorry” Wyatt muttered for a second before he realized it was his cousin. “Oh Prue it's you. I'm sorry I guess I wasn't watching where I was going. How are you?” Wyatt asked. Knowing she probably wasn't doing too well either. She had already lost her parents, an Aunt and now her other Aunt and Uncle. Not to mention Phoebe had not been the best mother after Coop had died. Wyatt never forgave his Aunt for that either.
(OOC I just decided to go ahead and tag your character Vengeance so you could bring your Char into the RP)
********************************************************************
Mel took a deep breath. She did not like to be angry it wasn't something she was used to. Especially with Wyatt being pi$$ed all the time. Mel had her face buried in Chris's chest as the thoughts swarmed in her mind. She listened to all Chris had said and then realized Chris should be talking to himself too. She slowly let her head up and looked up at Chris, a few tears in her eyes.
“No it's not Chris, don't tell me it's okay, when you don't even believe it yourself. You can't sit here and tell me not to bottle up my emotion Chris! You are doing the very same thing yourself.” Mel kept her tone steady but somewhat firm, but not angry. “Chris...” Mel said softly. "I know you are not okay, don't tell me that you are. You may have fooled others but not me Chris. I'm your sister and I can see right through that facade”
Mel said sounded a lot like her mother. Mel was a lot like Piper in a lot of ways. She knew it scared her brothers especially now. She even looked just like her mother, it even scared her to look in the mirror lately.
Mel wondered where the hell all this staying strong for Chris had came from. She was a complete mess and didn't really want to talk to anyone at the moment, but she could see the pain in Chris's eyes and it killed her to see it.
(OOC I am now taking over Mel since Jamie has suddenly left the board and disappeared . If he comes back then he can take her role again, but since as of now he is gone. We need to get the RP moving.)

As Wyatt sat down next to Camille, she gently grabbed his hand and gave it a small squeeze. She felt his fingers run through her hair. She leaned her head onto his shoulder. She loved him so much and she was hoping that she would be able to help him though his pain. Wyatt told her that he had to leave. She nodded and watched him as he got up and left.
Camille then turned her face to the two coffins. Memories of her own parents' funerals came into her mind. She really did have no one but Wyatt left. She had no brothers or sisters or no relatives as far as she knew. Her parents had never told her anything about her heritage or about her powers. Her powers seemed to revolve around ice and frost. Camille had always wondered about that, but her parents had just told her that everyone's powers were different and some stuff like that. Camille had brushed it off then, but now that her parents were gone, she did feel a little lonely, being the only one left in her family. Wyatt had no idea how lucky he was to have his cousins and siblings with him. Camille sighed and waited for Wyatt to come back.
***********************************************************
Chris held onto his sister, he could feel her tears falling down. He wanted more than anything to help her. he felt so helpless as she was crying. Then all of a sudden she stopped crying and faced him. She started telling him that he should listen to his own advice and stop fighting his own pain. She didn't understand. Chris could not lose his cool. He WOULD not lose his cool. Wyatt he lost his cool and so did Mel, if he lost his cool, no one would be useful which would leave them all vulnerable.
As Chris heard Mel talking, he saw that she reminded him so much of his mother. Her looks and her personality. He felt a small twinge in his heart as he thought about Piper. It was going to be extra hard to get through all of this, but he would never hold it against Melinda.
"Mel... Please don't worry about me ok? I'm fine... I'm dealing with all of this in my own way. I'm here for you now. I wanna help you Mel... I'll worry about me later."

Prue had walked along the narrow hallway, with her mind among her thoughts, she bumped into the side of her cousins, Wyatt Halliwell. Pushing her handbag up her shoulder she smiled sweetly while breathing heavily and sighing with relief, she hadn't really seen anyone in the family for days now, it was nice to see a familiar face.
Nodding slightly she acknowledged Wyatt's apology and carried on listening to what he had to say, Wyatt had become the head of the family since his parents were killed. She noticed he was acting a little odd, standing on edge and speaking quite slowly as if he had no confidence. That certainly wasn't like Wyatt at all, he has always been a confident, well spoken person.
"Okay, considering." Prue replied, brushing the hair behind her ears as she slowly rocked on the heel of her feet. "I'm more worried about a certain few cousins of mine!" She added leaning back against the wall behind her.
