The best scene of Charmed, IMO. It's a bit of tear jerker but this scene warms my heart. I think it best portrays the bond between the sisters. From Witch Trial:
[Scene: Manor. Prue, Piper and Phoebe are walking down the stairs.]
Piper: Prue, what happened up there?
Prue: Nothing.
Phoebe: Yeah, nothing is exactly the problem.
Prue: I never said that I had the power to go against him. You did, remember?
Phoebe: No, the Book of Shadows did.
Prue: Well, maybe it was wrong. Maybe Abraxas is just too strong.
Piper: Maybe, but that doesn’t explain why you hesitated.
Prue: I didn’t hesitate.
Phoebe: The hell you didn’t Prue. I saw you.
Piper: We both saw you.
Prue: So, what are you saying? This is my fault, is that it? Because I can’t defeat Abraxas?
Phoebe: No, Prue, you can. You just won’t. Okay, something is holding you back. Something big time and instead of facing it, you’re running from it.
Piper: Phoebe....
Phoebe: But you can’t keep running, Prue. Because you have got to figure out what your problem is, otherwise we're all dead.
(Prue starts to cry.)
Prue: That’s right, Phoebe. It’s my responsibility, isn’t it? The oldest sister, always supposed to be able to figure things out. Well, if that’s the case, then how come I couldn’t save Andy? If I’m supposed to be so powerful, how come I couldn’t save him? I mean, my god, don’t you understand? Andy died because of me, it doesn’t matter what he said, it was my fault. How could it be good to be witches if all it does is get the people we love killed?
(She cries.)
Phoebe: Oh, sweetie.
Piper: Prue, it’s not your fault. You tried to keep Andy from coming here that night, remember? You tried to warn him but he came anyway. He came because he wanted to.
Phoebe: And there was nothing that you could have done to stop him, Prue. He chose to walk through that door, not because of who you are, honey, but because of who he was.
Piper: Protector of the innocent, just like us.
Prue: I just don’t know if I believe in it anymore.
Phoebe: Honey, we’ve done a lot of good as witches too. You know that. But that doesn’t mean that bad things still aren’t gonna happen. But just because we can’t help that, doesn’t mean that is our fault.
Piper: Or yours.
Phoebe: Come here.
(They all hug.)

Astral Prue really needed another episode. Just saw this again and it reminded me of this post: If Rose, Alyssa, Holly and Shannon all agreed to return to do Charmed in the present day, then my idea for Prue's return would be for the sisters to discover there is an astral version of prue that's been out there. They find out that while prue was dying, and while still unconscious and right before her final breath, her alter ego astral prue, the one we saw in "Just Harried" was let loose again. And she remained permanently loose for some magical reason. She was now living in a different city, as she wanted to be as far away from the other sisters as possible. One of the sisters, maybe Paige, while protecting a new charge, in this present time, spots this Prue somewhere by accident. Paige thinks it was a look alike but to the other sisters amazement, after further investigation, they find out it's the same astral prue from before. And once again this prue wants to be left alone and doesn't want to be found. Because prue is an astral form, it is why the "to call a lost witch" spell didn't summon her in the past. But Phoebe figures out she can summon her. Phoebe uses the spell she used before in "just harried" and is able to summon prue to the manor. Phoebe wasn't too keen on using the spell since she is once again having to use the BOS after not opening the book for so long. Fear of what would happen if they start using the BOS again. But even though this isn't the real prue, they all try to convince her to stick around and think about coming back into the family. She still has all prues memories but this is just the fearless version of her. Who likes to act before thinking . And she's been living a wild and crazy and reckless life for the past 15 years or so. But she has grown weary of it and really wants something else exciting to do. So while being convinced to stay , this Prue realizes Demon hunting may be a good thing and of great interest to her. Creatures she can beat up, so she agrees to stay but starts aggressively looking for demonic trouble, and ends up bringing demon threats back into the charmed ones lives. This prue has no kids so she has no issues tackling demons head on. She's now living back in the manor with piper and Leo and their 3 kids. Phoebe, piper and Paige have to deal with this new reality and dynamics with this Prue injecting herself into their lives and trying to take charge like she used to in the past. Paige ends up being the one willing to try and teach this prue responsible demon fighting as she's the only one still doing it at this time. And when the demons on one of the occasions, get attacked by this prue, they realize the older sister is back, making them 4 in number now, and they see it as a threat to them. So now the truce with the charmed ones is over. There is also the human baggage this prue brings with questionable acquaintances she's had over the years that keep showing up and bringing trouble. Mostly non demonic. And there is another aspect of all of this phoebe and piper are struggling with grasping. What if the reason that the real prue couldn't be healed and ended up dying in AHBL was because this astral prue, having been released, was way too strong. If they had known back then and summoned astral prue back and then forced her back into the real prues body, could the real prue have lived? And since this astral prue now exists, she is the "ID" prues inner desires, as Phoebe explained in season 3. So the "ego" the control factor version of prue is who died. So is the spirit of that version of prue " the ego" somewhere out there that could be summoned to make prue whole again? This raises the question of if grams and patty really have Prue with them. Were they lying to them by saying they couldn't see prue, and just didn't want to tell the sisters that they don't know what happened to her and her spirit never crossed over to them in the after life? I *so* wish this is what they'd do for the 20th anniversary next year!!!

YES PLEASE!!! This explanation is brilliant. The best way to explain why Prue wasn't able to be summoned, and maybe even Grams and Patty lying she is even with them. Also they had a Prue who was seen dead and put into a coffin. So you have ways to bring Prue back in the best way possible. This is the best idea I have ever heard. I thought about how could it be that Prue faked her death and still be alive somehow, but this one just works better than anything I could come up with.

Just saw this again and it reminded me of this post: I *so* wish this is what they'd do for the 20th anniversary next year!!! This theory makes this scene 100x times better It really does. This is definitely something that would really open up a really great story. I think this is 10 tens better than what the comics attempted with bringing Prue back, even though I really did like how brought her back.

My favourite moment in charmed is in season 3 when Leo is talking to phoebe about the possibility of cole being Balthazar I was really anxious for them to figure that out also in the episode little box of horrors I was thinking about how they never figured out cole was Balthazar then because I would have figured it out because cole comes into the manor says he's going to use the bathroom then prue and phoebe go up to the attic and there's Balthazar trying to get the book of shadows I mean how did they not figure it out?

My best Cole moment is in the underworld after they rescue Paige from the power brokers infection. The sisters not knowing that they obliged because they recognized cole as the source. As the sisters and Leo leave Cole turns to the power broker and shushes him Attachments:
