We'll be re-watching this on the weekend in our re-watch, so wonder how I feel about it. I wasn't too crazy about this one last time. I didn't like the Prue/Phoebe conflict or the Stalker bits at all. Oh and Maite Halliwell Abbey appeared in 'Once Upon a Time' before 'Sight Unseen'. Oh did she? I'll have to rewatch that then. Just after posting this, I then remembered the scene she was in! Which is good because I've just recently re-watched season three, so I really should've remembered before. But thank you! That makes me feel slightly more affectionate towards the Abbey plot in Sight Unseen.

Here's my review from a re-watch a while ago:
So although it might change, right now my response is, no, I don't love this episode at all; I don't even like it.

Yeah, like you, I wish they'd chosen a different one for a follow-up. If anyone wants to know why this wasn't a popular episode, I'm sure it had to do with the differences in AHE and this one.

This isn't a good follow-up episode to AHE at all. Loved reading your review Es.
And, you are right Es, in your review, this was written by a new male writer in William Schmidt, and 'Sleuthing With the Enemy' is also again written by Peter Hume (a new writer). No wonder the sisters are so not like themselves.
I find it so interesting that these next four episodes, were all given to new writers. So I'm guessing these new writers were whatever backstory they got on the sisters and show when they joined was from how he saw them. Unlike Sheryl and the other older writers with how they wrote the sisters.

But the writers did a good job teaching them a lesson that not all evil comes from demons and warlocks. They've encountered evil humans before . . . like that "dream sorcerer" from Season One. Or the gangsters who had murdered Mark Chao during the same season.

Some of us re-watched this episode last night. Here's the grades and the favorite moments:
I would say none of them (I wasn't part of that re-watch - will tonight - we'll see if anyone disagrees with these grades...) loved this episode, especially not as a follow-up to 'All Halliwell's Eve'. If it had been aired at a different time (say like right after 'The Honeymoon Is Over' which also received low grades) or just watched on its own and not part of this re-watch, they may have been different.
Not from me, since I don't like to be scared and I hate stories about stalking especially because I've been stalked myself, but members who like horror movies probably love this one.

I found it funny how Abby was ranting about wanting to be Prue and loving her clothes. But maybe it would be scary to those stalked. I liked how different it was instead of another demon

I found it funny how Abby was ranting about wanting to be Prue and loving her clothes. But maybe it would be scary to those stalked. I liked how different it was instead of another demon I found Abby very frightening. Without that gun and an injured Prue, and even without Prue using her powers she's not that scary. But the way her mind works is. I also liked how Abby wasn't just a demon. It was a good reminder that other people can still be a threat to them. And I liked how she came out of nowhere. She was just a random employee of Piper's with two or three lines before we find out she's crazy and willing to kill someone.

Yes it would've been nice seeing more a few more humans throughout the series who were also a threat to the sisters rather than supernatural beings.
Maybe some of them could've been scouts for demons or warlocks or belonged to a demonic cult trying to get others to join them then or been people similar to the Wickerman film who made human sacrifices for whatever reason that was obviously.

Outside of PhoeMe this was a great episode! Even if I wish Abby the bartender were built up more prior to this.

I thought Abby was way too silly with her trying to become Prue and the ugly wig and going all crazy eyes after she was portrayed as someone completely normal. I also thought it was annoying Prue was the one she was obsessed with, there were more than enough SuperPrue episodes this season.
I would've liked it better if she had become obsessed with all three of the sisters and simply wanted to become a Halliwell as well and also live in the manor. And maybe getting upset after they made clear that wasn't going to happen.

And maybe getting upset after they made clear that wasn't going to happen. This reminds me of Alice who broke into their house and shot Piper in AHBL. Abby's story could have been that over the course of a few episodes she tries to hang out with them more and more and is a lot more subtle about her attempts to fit in with them. It could be a six or seven-episode storyline of the sisters all being reminded that people with no powers can pose a threat to them too.

And more interesting with Coke trying to get close to them at the same time, but not being exposed.

I quite like this episode. Yeah its not as great as one of the best episodes of the series before it, All Halliwell's Eve Things I like-Daryl having a meaningful role -Abbey - I didn't see that coming -Troxa, Sean, and the Triad (in their scary form) -A Live Act at P3 (even though they aren't that great) -Michael Bailey Smith -Shows the hierarchy of demons a little bit more and we get a description of Belthazor. -I think Troxa's invisibility with his vulnerability of the cold is a cool demonic power -The crystal cage -All Three Powers shown + astral projection -Contrast in Leo's orbing and Coles shimmering -Prue's brainstrorm of past foes including Javna and her question mark over Cole -Throw back that Abbey wore the shirt that Prue did in Be Careful what you Witch For -Using Astral Projection as a trick again! -Character development with Prue's Pride and arrogrance -Knit wear -All three characters are playing in character. -Tension and apologies between Prue and Piper. -Leo and Piper are cute in this episode with the 'Watching' and its a continuation of the 'rutabaga' in the Premier episode which is funny -The 'whos the psycho' theme reminds me of the first episode SWTWComes - Didn't like-Phoebe's kisses -Prue mentions in the beginning that she's researching the family tree from the witch hunter man she met in AHE the episode before, but it goes no where - and why is she dating Tag from Friends, instead of the Micah guy - seems like the role was meant to be written for him - and would be fitting since he was a descendent of a witch hunter. Micah would have been a good love interest I actually like this episode better than the one after - Primrose Empath - because Prue reverses her stance on Cole and tells Phoebe to go for it because she knows he loves her. Also I know a lot of TV shows were doing at at the time but the scene by scene matrix rip off makes that Primrose Empath incredibly cringeworthy. Overall This episode for me is a B+Its also tied 3rd with the best 8 episodes of Season 3 in that thread Favorite Episodes: Season Three Edition

Absolutely LOVE Sight Unseen! I love being reminded that there other kinds of evils out there, and it's not always demons.
