Surprised that Just Harried isn't ranked higher.
And that Sleuthing is ranked so high considering as it could be considered as a 'Jump the Shark' episode and the beginning of PhoeMe.
Personally, I think the best episode of Season 3 is All Halliwell's Eve - which so far, most fans are in agreement with!

Well, a lot of fans like Cole and they like the episodes that include him, even if 'Sleuthing with the Enemy' is when Phoebs turned into PhoeME, which is when I stopped liking her-she was my favorite sister up to that point. But that's just me. As for 'Just Harried', I don't know about other fans, but I can't vote for it because I hate Prue upstaging Piper on her wedding day - having it be all about Prue and her problems (nothing she does anything about in future episodes) rather than Piper and her happy day. It's when I started not liking Prue, the reason I didn't vote for a lot of episodes after it, only 'Prewitched' and 'Sin Francisco'. 'All Halliwell's Eve' is definitely my favorite episode of the season. Phoebe flying across the moon and Prue going 'Who was that masked man?" Piper's "Oh, leave it to Them to zap first and give instructions never." Leo healing Darryl and the finale scene between Phoebe and Cole are all amongst my favorite scenes of the entire series.

Lol Re Just Harried. But that is SOOOO Prue. I always found it funny how Prue did upstage Piper. And for that matter, Phoebe upstaging her too when she didn't even have an active power. Remember how she actually was the first one to get married, like a couple of weeks before Pipers wedding! One thing I did miss about Prue when she left was how big her ego was. I liked that about Just Harried. And I also liked how their wasn't a demon of the week... apart from Cole. Also, that scene with Patty and her 3 daughters and Victor and Patty working together. It was a little 'That 70's show'. Also Victor finally accepted Leo as his son-in-law. Lots of very magical moments for me!

But your right dear, so many wonderful moments. I *so* loved that we didn't see a demon of the week either. I wished Charmed did this more often. I have a feeling, *that* if Prue lived. Prue's pride and ego would grow bigger into season 4. Especially with how Kern wrote Piper later on. I have a bad feeling, I would grow to hate her more. But Prue and Phoebe would definitely butt heads dear when the Evil Phoebe arc played out, and it would be way more bigger than when Prue wasn't apart of that arc.

My results in contrast with the popularity of the polls
In line with:
-All Halliwell's Eve -Pre Witched -The G, B and The Cursed -Power Outage -Sin Francisco -Sight Unseen
My choice's out of line with general popularity (Not chosen) -Primrose Empath (That Matrix rip off ruins the entire episode) -Sleuthing With The Enemy (Phoebe LIES! And for me is the Jump the Shark moment, before the Jump the Mermaid episode)
(Ones I chose, but not popular) -Blinded By The Whitelighter (I Like Aimes as a Warlock in this episode and thought he was very smart... I miss warlocks in the later seasons) -Just Harried (I kind of turn into a big softie when all the family members come back esp Mom, Grams and Victor.
Another under-rated episode I think is Bride and Gloom. Its quite entertaining and its cool to see all three sisters evil, esp Phoebe. It also reminds me of a great Season 2 episode "Give Me A Sign" where Prue is Kidnapped and Piper and Phoebe are influenced by the "Give me a Sign" spell.

Primrose Empath really is a great episode for Shannen's acting and Prue. But yeah that fight scene wasn't that great. But Sleuthing With The Enemy destroys Phoebe's character, it's a jump the shark moment the second Phoebe fakes his death.

Looking at S3, I often forget how those three episode's after Sin Francisco are not that great. They had potential to be better than they were, I guess as All Hell Breaks Loose is Prue's last (of course it wasn't supposed to be) but they just don't feel that strong. That Pre-Witched was the last really great episode of S3, too bad that's where the season should have ended.
All the story of Cole's father's soul went nowhere. I'm gathering something abandoned when Shannen was fired.
When I look at S3, I think the first half up to Sleuthing With the Enemy was the strongest of the season. When the series hit its peak, and it dropped when Phoebe faked Cole's death.

Pretty Much from They're Everywhere (Season 2) up until Power Outage (Season 3) is the best set of approx. 22 episodes.

I also think you two are right, the first half of S3 at least through Power Outage was great. But I think the series got going in S1's back half. But the peak period may have been in S2 up until Power Outage.

The peak ends with Power Outage. I enjoyed the second half of Season 1. So the golden era/most watchable for me would be Secrets and Guys through Power Outage. But my best 22 would be Season 2 somewhere to early Season 3.

I feel like Magic Hour is quite an underestimated episode.
It's really focused on the innocents and then even though the background episode is about Leo and Piper planning the secret wedding... It is also focused on Phoebe questioning Piper on her selfish-ness - sort of the first time we ever see Piper and Phoebe in conflict with each other.
Plus Grams is in this episode in quite a cool capacity and Cole doesn't take up too much of the limelight.
Although the ending is heart-wrenching... seeing the sisters be there for each other is just what the show is all about.
Magic Hour in this thread, is how I feel about Reckless Abandoned in the Season 2 favourite thread its not in line with other voters for popularity.
Otherwise Primrose Empath is the only episode I am out of step with other voters. I still can't shake the Matrix Scene and how Prue looks back at herself narcissistically nor how she couldn't spot that dude being evil when she was usually the one with the best intuition - its the beginning of her recklessness, something she doesn't learn from in the previous episode 'Sight Unseen'

'Magic Hour' and 'Reckless Abandoned' falls into the group of episodes forgotten. It might be people just haven't seen it in a while. I can't wait to see these in the board re-watch. Even episodes like 'Out if Sight', 'Feats of Clay', 'Which Prue Is It Anyway?' and 'Trial By Magic' are among ones I don't remember well. So these will be exciting to re-watch, so I can grade them and give reactions.

Trouble is, that the episode before 'Sight Unseen' and then this episode Primrose Empath is when I start disliking Prue. Her ego is her undoing. Plus, I can't shake that Matrix scene and the narcissistic staring back in Astral Form. She also didn't learn anything from Murphy's Luck, casting a spell out of no where, wrecklessness to help an innocence without doing her homework. Call for Leo and orb them home, consult with your sisters!

-Sight Unseen. It was really a good idea that the main villain was human. -Primrose Empath. Shannen's great performance and excellent way to represent the power of empathy. -Coyote Piper. I always loved Piper's possession in this episode. Very entertaining. And the dance scene! -We All Scream for Ice Cream. Perfect creepy story to have nightmares. Hopefully more episodes like this. -Just Harried. Very exciting, great action and very defining for Prue's character. -Pre-Witched. Powerful sister-centered drama with an entertaining demon in the background. -Look Who's Barking. The Banshee is one of my favorite demons of the show. It is really scary. The story connects perfectly with the drama that Phoebe is feeling at that moment. -All Hell Breaks Loose. Definitely one of my favorite episodes of the series. Very powerful with tremendously heartbreaking scenes.
I like practically all the episodes of this season. I could have also voted for 'Power Outage' or 'Bride and Gloom' (I was always attracted to the atmosphere of this episode). Well, and the final dialogue between Death and Prue in 'Death takes a Halliwell' is also noteworthy.
