Actually the Cafe is older than that. I first found it the summer between Charmed's S4 and S5 when TheWB.com advertised it, so that would be 2002 and it appeared to have been around a lot longer than that At that point the Cafe was the message board for thecharmedones.com, a website that's no longer around, and it was an ezBoard rather than ProBoards. That was when I joined. I think we switched over to ProBoards when ezBoard became a pay site, but if anyone else remembers differently, it wouldn't surprise me. I think you're right that it was around longer than 2002. I checked out some of the links Melinda shared with me in her post and it looks like TheCharmedOnes.com may have dated back to 2000. Though I definitely wasn't online much at this point (I was only seven) and hadn't even watched Charmed then, so I wouldn't exactly know for sure. But it's great to see the history of how the fandom evolved over time and see it's still going strong so many years later!

2000 makes sense to me.
Actually it was StoryGirl83 who found those pages in the Wayback and sdhared them with the Cafe and that melindahalliwell shared with you.
StoryGirl83's also the one who put any of this version's pages into it. But I'm glad melindahalliwell shared them with you.

My Generation according to this list is Silent Generation, even though I consider myself just an older Baby Boomer.
I feel like I’m on the border of both, but since I was just about one year old when WWII ended, I don’t have memories of the generation I consider the Silent Generation, so I’m not old enough to remember what it was like to live through a world war. So that’s why I consider myself an older baby boomer. Part of why I consider the end of the Silent Generation 1945, and the start of the Baby Boomers as 1946 Post WWII, but not to worry, that’s just me.

Millennials or Gen Y: Born 1983 – 1997 (22-36 years old)
I am, indeed, telling the truth, when I introduced myself as being 25+. Now, this is another hint towards what my actual age is. That's all I'll say about that LOL

Gen Z & Proud of it! Though, I do wish my generation received the quality and context of shows from the 90's-early 00's.

Millennial 1986 I do love that we have more than just Millennials and Generation Xers here. Even some from the Silent generation. So cool.

Who are the Silent Generation and before (if any lol!) that have indicated they are on the forum? I think The Crone is one of those two. I'm not sure who the other one is, but they might not be a poster anymore. One of our members who has been here for a long time would know. LATER: She is from her post further up. But she's right obn on the border between SG and BB.
I do know Es and Granny Charmed are both Baby Boomers.
So those three are our oldest members here who are posters.
Millennial 1986 I do love that we have more than just Millennials and Generation Xers here. Even some from the Silent generation. So cool. Me too. We have people from ALL generations represented.

I'll be turning 69 this week, so I'm right in the middle of the Baby Boomers.

Esmeralda , Love to hear it! This reminds me of having a job where my co-workers of all ages become my friend. Amazing how the love of one show can connect so many people!

Esmeralda , Love to hear it! This reminds me of having a job where my co-workers of all ages become my friend. Amazing how the love of one show can connect so many people! And that's the beauty of Charmed. It can connect so many people from all ages. Especially families watching the show together.
Like you Zachary, I connect well with people of different ages. Same at work. Where age never was an issue with us. I always enjoy looking up to my Elders. They have so many fun stories.

I'd be one of those Silent Generation members according to this list. Currently 76. I don't consider myself part of the Silent Generation. I'm a cusper. I was born near the end of the Silent generation (1945) and the beginning of the Baby Boomer generation (1946). My birthdays is on December 7th. Es is a Baby Boomer. So is Granny Charmed I believe. But she might be not much younger than me. Certainly one of the older Baby Boomers.

I was born in 2000 Like all of you said, it's amazing how a show can connect people from five different generations. And I feel that it brings a lot of different points of view and interpretations of the show itself and that's why the discussion never dies out. Also, happy belated birthday Esmeralda!
