In general, I think the only person who hasn't had a fashion don't at P3 has been Piper. Then again, she hasn't really worn anything totally hideous and overly revealing like her sisters. Then again, it's not in her character to dress like the others.

Piper did went through some kind of period of leather fetish and dark clothes during mid-Season 4. That I do remember, because many fans had commented on her odd fashion tastes.

The sisters have different styles but I have noticed that, during the seasons, they turned in "sexy style" except Piper ... Foxfire got to the heart of the problem ... there is a style for each place and, sometimes, the sisters had "wrong" clothes ... For example, have you seen Paige at work? Very short skirt ... or Prue with the umbilicus as far as the eye can see at Buckland's? Not very appropriate ... I have always my idea ... Phoebe's wardrobe is the best ...

Have you seen Phoebe at work? That's not how a professional should dress for work. It's specially obvious during season 6. I do remember those. She looked quite nice in some, not so great in others.

There's a lot of talk about work appropriate clothes. The designers for the show probably dressed them according to their own tastes, however, I think I can find a logical reason for Phoebe's teeny tiny outfits at work.
Phoebe seems to be a girl who comes and goes at work. She does write a lot of her columns there but she's also worked from home and else where. Therefore, she can often wear what she wants. Then you factor in the fact that she's the one who gets paid the big bucks and she's what brings people in to read the Bay Mirror. This would mean that Elise wouldn't be so quick to make sure Phoebe puts on something less comfortable. The reason why I see this is because of the episode "My Three Witches". In it, Phoebe works on a television show as a host (for a few shows as the host was most likely on some kind of leave). She dressed incredibly professional and didn't wear anything that showed her stomach or cleavage.

I agree that Phoebe had the right to wear that she wanted.
And we, as fans, have the right to express our feelings about her wardrobe . . . whether we like it or not.

Does anyone have any top 3 outfits for the sisters? If possible, try and include pictures of the outfits.
I'm just trying to think of some top 3 favourites off the top of my head. Some that spring to mind for me (for Paige) are: her black shirt/tights combo with a plaid skirt, her peach camisole with black lace, and of course the fitted white shirt and black skirt outfit I mentionned earlier.

I think Phoebe has a unique fashion sense and lets be honest, they could only look good on Alyssa! I think thats a good thing because Piper's outfits are normally nice but again, boring! Paige's sense is 'out there' but normally classy and sophisticated wheras Phoebe has strange but hot clothes. They suit only her!

I'm sorry, but I just didn't. Both the character Phoebe - and the actress who played her - looked a lot better to me during the show's first two seasons, when the costumes were more restrained.

In general, I liked Phoebe's season 7-8 outfits. I found that they weren't as out there as they'd been in the previous seasons. Although, for Paige I'd add the 6th season.
Did they change their wardrobe designer during the course of the show? I mean, it would definitely explain the change of style with Paige and Phoebe for the last couple of seasons.

Yeah, I agree with foxfire...Elise probably didn't care how Phoebe was dressed as long as Phoebe's column was attracting eyeballs to The Bay Mirror.

Mark this day because it doesn't happen very often, but I completely agree with ljones on this one. I liked how she looked much better during the first two seasons with normal clothes and some outfits of seasons 7 and 8.
Also, I don't think Piper's clothes were boring, they just weren't as out there and outrageous as the other two could wear. By the time Piper started dressing up better (i.e. season 3 >8) she was already a 27+ engaged/married/mother woman. Her style reflected those things about her life.

Piper's wardrobe was realistic and that's what I like about what she wears. She has her own style and it's seen throughout the series. It doesn't seem like she has an unlimited number of clothes either. I think it would be just weird to see her walking around the Halliwell manor dressed up like Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker's character in "Sex and the City").

Plus, she looked really good in jeans. Like you said, it was realistic and it went well with what was going on in her life at the moment. I would've consider it extremely weird to see Piper changing diapers while wearing a Carrie Bradshaw style.

I have to say that I really admire the stylists on the show for keeping Piper consistant. I definitely agree that Holly Marie Combs looked good in jeans. Actually, she looked good in a lot of things they put her in.
I have to add an outfit to the "best dressed of Charmed" list. That would be Prue's gold top and beige-brown pants from "Coyote Piper". Shannen looked fabulous in that episode. What I don't get is why Prue styled Piper to look like a school marm.......
*update*
Okay, so I have the newest issue of Charmed magazine now. I'm pretty disappointed with their top 10 list of favourite outfits from the show. Especially with the fact that they excluded Prue and included Billie *gag*.
Also, I officially know my favourite Phoebe outfit. Her pink shirt with black pullover from "Witchness Protection". Paige's dress was also really nice in that episode.
PLUS the magazine also clarified what happened with the designer from the show. S1 and S8 had different wardrobe stylists. From S2-7 it was Eilish who was the designer.

I love the cute purple strapless mini dress she wears in an episode of season 6. i can't remember which episode. I also like the green one she wears in the beginning of season 7. She looks so pretty in mini skirts and dresses.

I think you can pick up Charmed Magazine at any well-known bookstore. You can also get them from International News stores.
You can also subscribe to the magazine via the website.
I notice that a fabric of choice for the Charmed Ones seems to be silk (especially when it comes to Paige). I definitely think season seven is my favourite season for Phoebe's fashion. I absolutely adore the Asian-inspired top she wears in "Styx Feet Under".
