Favorite Season

After our re-watch its a toss up between 1 and 2. I voted Season 1.

No surprise, I voted for season 1. I think season 2 has amazing stand alone episodes but it was kind of all over the place plot wise. Season 1 has some better arcs with Rex and Hannah and then eventually with Rodriguez and the IA investigation. Honourable mention is season 3. It might have been my favourite if the climax and the following seasons were better. Season 3 had so much build up and I think season 4 was too rushed to deal with everything.

I feel that this is the most common poll on this site.

Season 2 has now become my favourite (I need to update my signature).

This changes for me a lot.

When the series aired, I think Season 3 and 4 were my favourites. I liked the drama and the storyline and Charmed was sort of at its popularity peak and the sisters + Leo and Cole (to an extent, Daryl, through the Andy connection) became iconic characters. The acting is on form between Season 3 and 4 and the writing - even though hurried is well thought out and the writers improvised with what had happened pretty well (not perfectly) - in my opinion.

However, now Seasons 1 and 2 are my favourite.

Season 2 just narrowly ahead. It just has so many great stand-alone episodes and still has that 90's millennium feel, and doesn't feel AS dated as Season 1. The development of the characters is great as well. I like the "lessens" and "demon of the week" make up of Season 2 and .

My only draw backs of Season 2 are - 1) The love triangle that stretched out too long 2) The continuation of the 'rules' and continuation of whitelighters in the mythology 3) Jenny and Dan didn't really live up to their potential

Toss up between 1 and 2. I went with 2.

Changed to season 4 even though I think Season 2 is the best.

And yes Ill have to update my signature again lol

Season 1 is definitely my favorite, although I liked Seasons and 2 and 3, too.

Season 2 is definitely my favorite. When I watch Charmed I literally enjoy the episodes of this season and I could watch them in a weekend, this is the season I watch the fastest. I like the freshness of season 2, the complicity of the sisters and I find that it has aged well. Only Piper's love triangle bothers me. I like season 1 a lot too but I think it has aged less well and I don't like the first part very much. 🙃

I want to say Season 4 but I pick Season 2.

So tough, but I went with S6 because of it's re-watchability.

After rewatching Season 2, I think I am changing my mind and tossing up between Season 3 and Season 4.

(Yes I know I need to update my signature!)

Season 1 is the best season I feel.

But for my favourite I'd have to pick Season 3, then 4, 1, 2, 5, 7, 8, 6 for me.

My favorite season is Season 1, followed by Seasons 2 and 3. After Season 3, the sisters change so much they're unrecognizable. By Season 3, my favorite characters (Prue and Phoebe) changed and I started disliking them in some episodes.

Honestly, my feelings regarding the show have definitely change. Piper's no longer my favorite sister. In fact, she's probably last, on the list. That being said, Prue still remains not a favorite of mine. That being said, it's a toss up between Paige and Phoebe.

The reason I'm saying all of this is because I no longer hold the position that Piper has been consistent. And, I still believe Prue is inconsistent, as well. Piper changes quite a lot in S2, as this is the start where she's just mean and spiteful especially towards Leo. It just gets worse and worse by the time a new season starts.

Phoebe's the only one who remained somewhat consistent via funny. I do like Paige, though. I'm just used to Charmed changing every season, that all the inconsistencies, character "regressions", extra "main" characters, etc., doesn't get under my skin, as it might with some (not all) others.

That being said, I changed my vote away from S6 (even though, I still enjoy it) and put it in S1. Back when the Network/studio wasn't meddling in and trying to get views with the show. S1 is the real deal and the only authtentic season.

S6 is my favorite "artificial" season.
