Holly is such an amazing actress. Some of the best episodes of Charmed are the ones with emotional scenes. She is just very believable in her roles. I cry when Piper cries because of Holly's performance. I have to agree with you completely! She puts so much into her acting that she is remarkable. I was wondering how to become a fan of Piper's, but didn't know who to ask? |

Holly Combs is probably the reason i began waching charmed. i also never knew her b4 charmed an i've been thrilled by her acting for the past 8 years. i however dont think that she can stand alone, especially as a spin off; there' ssomething that she's missing her. she can change emotions really well, and this usually grabs the audience well but before we throw her into the pool of "independent acting" if i may call it that, could she really handle a big film role-maybe a drama film but outside of that i just think that she might need a bit more depth than she currently gives off. dont get me wrong, i'm a real fan of her acting and i know she has acted for film before, but those were smaller roles. imagine she was the lead in a sci-fi film for example, could she pull it off?  |

and she did great in that
she did actually amazing

I have the first season on DVD and in the episodes which focus on her character Kymberly she knocks it out of the park. She has always been very talented.

Yea she truly does great in everything and is very talent.
I think she is awsome with action sences.

She is just overall a great actress. She does very well in both dramatic and action scenes. I would love to see her future roles being a parent because she was a great and very protective mother to Wyatt & Chris and she also enjoys being a mother in real life so I think the "motherly" roles suit her.

I read the other day about how when she first auditioned for picket fences the guy auditioning was all like, nah you don't have enough heart to play this role. Later he had to kinda beg her to come back, bet he felt silly when she did it so well. And if he watched charmed we all know in that her role Piper has the biggest heart ever.
All this said she must also be proud that she obviously made a BIG impression as the guy modified her role in picket fences to be more like her

Picket Fences was a long time ago now and she was a young, new actress.
I think charmed was a great opportunity for her to really grow as an actress and if she chooses to still make acting a career for herself (now that she has a family at home) she could really do some big things. She was really able to show her true ability as an actress in Charmed.

i agree with you all!! holly marie combs is one of the best actress, charmed took a turning when pru died and piper became the oldest sister, holly adapts piper so well, i think piper suits being the oldest sister as she is sensible and level headed but knows how to have fun!! most of the best episodes are with piper as the oldest charmed one!! i couldn't imagine anyone else playing piper, hollys very talented and still has a blosseming career ahead of her xx

I forgot about that movie "Our Mothers Murder"!....she was GREAT in that too! I am worried that we won't be seeing too much of Holly in the future because she now has a family and she is probably more focused on that nowadays.

was watching "Texas Cadet Murders" didnt realize untill 10 mins in it was Holly. It was prolly right before or just as charmed was beginning. she was very convincing(sp)
