“Uh what?” She asked confused. Since when do I have an uncle? Then she thought about it a second and almost choked on her next words. “Oh...heh....you...know...uh he um....erm” She said trying her very hardest to regain her composure. Thinking Andy as an uncle tied knots in her stomach. Oh god please tell me Chris didn’t tell him or at least who got me pregnant oh god....I think I’m going to be sick.... She thought endlessly

John paused at Melinda's sudden reaction, did her uncle die or something while I was away? God, and here I am bringing up another one of her loses, like losing her mother wasn't bad enough.
"Is everything okay Melinda, I didn't mean to relinquish any sad memories, if that's what your uncle is by now, so um...is he still with us?"
John asked unknowingly, he couldn't be any further from what was really going on then he was now.

Melinda just stared at him. “Excuse me, I have to pee” She said quickly getting up from the table this was all too much. She walked away really fast and ran into the nearest bathroom and ran over to the sink and splashed water on her face. Oh god this is not happening. She kept repeating in her head. Okay just relax maybe he won’t bring it back up when I go back....right okay then...The thoughts swarmed in her head. She took a paper towel and wiped her face before heading back out and casually sat down again “Damn H20"

John waited for her response, as he suddenly she suddenly got up, letting him know she had to us the bathroom, and when she returned, heard her mention something about water, maybe she hit the water works, this must be tougher on her than I thought, d**n you John!
John thought as she sat down, okay, now bring it up gradually, I shouldn't have said it so bluntly, yada yada yada...
"So, I assume you need some time to um...deal with this great change in your life, I understand.."
John replied supportingly.

You aren’t shutting up are you. She thought slightly shaking her head. “You could say that......” She said blatantly hesitating when she saw someone passing them by with a tray full of deserts, which were obviously only for that one person. “Oh look chocolate cake my favorite!” Melinda yelled out suddenly and grabbed a piece. The guy gave her a nasty look and walked away. Melinda sat back down and sat the cake on the table “I like chocolate cake” She said looking at John.

John nodded his head at Melinda's response, good, she's taking it well, not panicking, composed..., and then all of a sudden he saw Melinda lunge for a chocolate cake on a try a disturbed man was carrying, and then Melinda mentioned how much she loved Chocolate cake.
"Yeah, I can...see that"
John sais as he looked over to the pissed off patient that had his cake pilfered right in front of him, and gave him a facial gesture that said, it's okay I got it, she's just not herself today, as he looked at Melinda with a bit of concern, but couldn't help feel humored and missed her presence even more.
She’s lost it, but it’s so good to have her back...figuratively speaking.

Melinda really wasn’t hungry especially now....”So.......I guess I pissed that guy off huh?” Melinda said with a shrug, still not sure what to say. This had to be the worst conversation she had ever encountered. She wished Cherish would come down here and save her from any more words coming from John she did not want to hear.

Cherish took a quick nap, but it seemed like she couldn't get to sleep. She'd start to sleep and then feel nauseas and get uncomfortable. She eventually decided she needed to get something to eat and got up and went down to the cafeteria.
At the cafeteria she went through the line and picked up an apple and a bagel. When she was trying to find a seat she saw Melinda, and John. "Hey guys! Can I sit with you, or am I interrupting something?" She asked sarcastically, she could tell by the look on Melinda's face she was screaming for her to join them.

Melinda saw Cherish and gave her this look that screamed help! When she took a seat next to Melinda. Melinda quickly grabbed her arm and looked over at John “I forgot something in the bathroom.....” Melinda said with a slight grin then dragged Cherish into the restroom with her and then closed the door and was glad nobody else was there “Shoot me” Melinda said looking up at Cherish.

Cherish got dragged along into the bathroom. "What, shoot you why? Did you see him, he looks good, better than highschool!" Cherish didnt know if it was hormones talking, but she never remembered John Carter looking like that. "Hey your long lost ex boyfriend comes back to find you and you wanna be shot?"

I think that.....I’m going to just....going to just...that rock sounds..... I think someone sent him down to torture me with his words....that’s what I think someone wants to make me miserable.
