“Yeah rest is a much needed thing and it will probably clear your mind too, maybe the spell will work in the form of a dream? Melinda said looking up at Chris. “So, are we going to orb out of here, unless your drove here, still I much rather get home the easy way, the sooner we get home the better”

Chris scrathed his head... He was trying to remember how he had gotten there... He recalled being at Bianca's house and there orbing there when he felt something wrong with Melinda.
"I orbed here.... I didn't wanna waste time with my car... I felt that something had happened to you... So yeah we can just orb out of here..."
With that Chris brought both his and Mel's papers to the receptionist's desk. He then went back to the room and grabbed Melinda's hand and they orbed out.
When they arrived at home they saw that a few demons were there waiting for thier arrival... Chris rolled his eyes...
"Are you kidding me?"

Melinda felt Chris grab his hand as they orbed out only to be greeted by a few demons. “Oh hell, why can't you all just stay there where you belong!? Melinda said annoyed that they had to attack now. Then she looked over to the demon in front of the other two she recognized him.
The demon seemed to notice Melinda suddenly “You are supposed to be dead!” He said glaring at her.
Melinda just looked at him rolling her eyes recognizing him as the demon who had put her in the hospital in the first place. “I'm sorry did I disappoint you?” She said then flicked her hands in the air to try to blow him up but again he was too quick he shimmered out of the way and behind Chris trying to kick him in the back. Melinda hoped Chris was quick enough to get him first.
“Son of a bit.....” Melinda yelled as she saw him go after Chris then felt the second one coming up behind her, but she quickly turned around “I don't think so” she said kicking him where it hurt the most. Then realized there was another demon in the room, she wondered what he was going to do next.

Chris watched as the three demons surrounded them... He listened to the exchange of words between his sister and s demon and realized that this was the demon that nearmy killed her... Before he could electrocute him, the demon shimmered out...
Chris felt something telling him to duck, which he did and caused the demon to miss. Chris turned around and punched the demon in his face, knocking him out.
Chris saw his sister with another demon, he was about to go help her when the last demon began shooting energy balls at him... Chris was able to dodge most of them... On the last energy ball, Chris called for it and shot it at back at the demon, vanquishing it...
Chris was about to go help his siter again, when the first demon woke up and TKed him across the room into some furniture...

The demon stepped back in pain from Mel's kick and started to form an energy ball in his hand. “I'm sorry did I piss you off?” She said flicking her hands in the air and blew up the demon while he was still trying to gain his composure. The demon emitted in flames and was vanquished. Melinda looked around thinking that they were done until the other demon woke up sending Chris into some furniture.
“Not this again...” She said remembering being thrown around the room before everything had went blank. Melinda stared into the demons eyes then stole a glance at the corner and started to make the plant grow, but this time decided to do something different. She expanded the plant as it went across the room wall to wall like a rope, still unnoticed by the demon. “Hey, why don't you come over here and fight me like a real demon” She said hoping to get him to run over to her tripping on the rope plant and land on the piece of sharp glass from one of the lamps that had been broken earlier. She really didn't know what else to do since last time he had broke free from her vines. She sent her thoughts to Chris knowing she could hear him with his whitelighter half. Dont come over here.....

Chris slowly got up from the crash. He was about to go after the demon when he heard his sister's voice telling him not to... Chris trusted her and stood back... The demon however, instead of going to Melinda, tured towards Chris and shot an energy ball at him. Chris dodged it and sent a bolt of electricity at the demon. The demon dodged it as well. He then TKed Chris into the wall when he fell down... The demon threw him again into another wall and again onto the floor. When the demon saw Chris's motion-less body, he turned to Melinda...
"Well that was easy..."

Melinda slowly watched the demon but instead of coming after her he started to come after Chris and then she saw him landing into a wall “Chris!?” She yelled then looked back at the demon. Flicking in her hands repeatedly while walking backwards either hoping to blow him up or get him to trip over the roped plant.

The demon thinking he had beaten the stronger of the two, porveeded to go after Melinda. He kept dodging her attacks, but while he was running towards her, he tripped on the vie she hasd set up and landed exactly on the broken glass... As the pain surged through his body, he yelled out and was engulfed in flames.
Chris moaned and slowly got up from the floor. His shoulder and back hurt like h*ll and his head hurt... He looked around and saw that the demon was gone... He turned to Mel...
"You ok?"

“Yeah, I'm okay are you okay??” She asked breaking the roped plant and going over to Chris. “They always have to come at the wrong time don't they?” She said with a yawn, glad they were home and demon free for the time being.

Cherish was sleeping in Mel's room when she started hearing crashes and things breaking from the other rooms. She went towards the noises, just waiting to attack something or someone, when she saw Mel and Chris, and a flaming demon.
"What just happened guys?" Cherish asked, wondering why they could never catch a break.

Melinda looked over at Cherish, a bit startled forgetting she was staying with them. "Oh.....you know, evil brother, sends demons...blah...blah. So lunch anyone?" She said knowing that none of them had anything decent to eat recently.

Chris rubbed his shoulder a little bit and then rubbed his neck. He nodded when Mel asked him if he was alright... He then looked at her set up and smiled...
"Nice vanquish by the way..."
When Chris finished talking he heard Cherish come into the room... Chris felt himself blush although he hoped they didn't see. What was going on? Why was he feeling so strange around her... He needed to get out of the room... fast!
"Ummm Mel, food sounds great, but I'm really tired right now, so i'm gonna go take a nap in my room... See ya guys later."
With that, Chris orbed to his room and lay down on his bed... He closed his eyes and let sleep take over him.

Mona got up from the rubble... She looked around the kitchen. It didn't look too good. She decided to start cleaning up the place... She picked up some broken peices here and there. She then moved onto the living room and started cleaning up in there as well...
Whlie she was cleaning she was thinking about the attack... That was the third one in less than a week... Was her life going to be like this all the time? The constant factions of demons going after her because she was the love of Wyatt's life?? Mona didn't want to live her life like this and she certainly didn't want her children growing up in a place where demons attacked everyday, and sometimes even twice a day in order to get to Wyatt.
Mona finished cleaning as much as she could. She then went upstairs to get cleaned up and changed.

Mel looked at her brother as he turned down, a meal. “Oookaaay” She said wondering what had gotten into him. It wasn’t like Chris to turn down food especially hers. “Well, uh what about you…wait” She said looking at Cherish. “Maybe the spell is working….”Melinda said thinking outloud

Cherish watched Chris orb out, and wished that he might of wanted to stay and eat with them. She'd never be able to get over him, and she couldn't help but love him. "Um, well, I guess we can still eat" Cherish said, but then Mel mentioned a spell, "What spell? And how is it working?" A spell you didn't know about was always a scary thought.

“Nothing….” Melinda said quickly. “Listen, why we don’t just skip the cooking and get some pizza! I’ll call right now” She said quickly making her way over to the phone. She really did not want to explain to Cherish the spell her brother had cast.

Cherish recognized Melinda's distraction routine, but instead of fighting it, she just let it go. It was probably something she wouldn't understand, or wouldn't want to know. "Pizza, sounds, okay I guess. Um, can we get chicken wings too?" Cherish was craving chicken wings, and wasn't sure if it was her body telling her she needed protein, or if her baby just had spicy taste.

“Ohhhh Chicken Wings, that sounds good! Melinda said suddenly wanting chicken wings too. “I want a large pizza; with everything on it hold the anchovies and the Chicken Wing Order with Volcano hot sauce!” Melinda told the guy in the other end. When she was done, she hung up the phone and looked over at Cherish. “Guess I’m not the only one here craving chicken wings?” She said with a shrug.

Wyatt orbed into his bedroom where he saw Mona. "Hello," he said and went over to give her a kiss. The meeting was nothing new. Getting business sorted and hunting down factions that were out to get him. Usual type of deal.
Wyatt went into the bathroom to shower because he hadn't in a day or two. When he was all clean, he returned to his room with just a towel on and changed into clothes ready for a State Fair. The two of them were going to have a nice, quiet day full of fun. "How was your day so far?"

Mona was brushing her hair in the bedroom when she saw Wyatt orb in. She smiled and kissed him back.
"Hey you..."
She then waited for him while he was taking his shower. When he came back she gave him a small smile. He then asked her how her day had been. She hesitated with telling him about the demon attack, because she didn't want to worry him... But seeing as they were able to break through the shield of the house... she felt she needed to tell him...
"Wyatt, there was another attack today... Don't worry, I'm fine, baby's fine... But they were able to get through the shield of the house..."

Melinda looked around at the mess in the apartment. “This place is disaster area” She said going over and picking things off the floor. She yawned as she looked over at Cherish. “I think I’ll go ask Chris if he’s sure he isn’t hungry.” She said throwing the pillows back on the couch and slowly made her way into Chris’s room and gave a soft knock on the door.
