I think it would be great except Piper and Leo are living in the Manor, so if the roommates lived there where would Piper and Leo be? Oh, man, do you have that mixed up! This would be a totally different universe, so, no, Piper and Leo wouldn't live there because they wouldn't exist. That's part of it being a reboot and not a spin-off or a sequel. Unless you're talking about what would've happened had they been roommates rather than sisters. Again, if that's the case, I don't think they'd ever would've lived in the Manor - having the Manor might be part of the reason why they decided to make them sisters. And if they didn't live in the Manor, obviously IF Piper and Leo still got married (I can hope they wouldn't, since if you stick with the original plan, Leo only would've been part of Season One - don't I wish!), they'd live somewhere else.

Seattle might be nice for the setting for the reboot, I mean with all the bad things that seem to happen there on Grey's Anatomy lol there might be a little demonic activity there stirring up trouble. Also do you think it would be a good idea for the girls to have the same powers as the Sisters (Original P3 not reconstituted) I think it would be okay

I would like to see more fictional places! Like Sunnydale from Buffy. New Orleans I think would be a lot like Coven, hmm..

I'd prefer a real place - it makes it seem more real. Sunnyvale proved that Buffy could never really exist while San Francisco said that Charmed could've. In that case, Joss Whedon blew it.
I wouldn't want to connect it with another show, like connecting Seattle to Grey's Anatomy, because that would get too confusing. I can't quite see combining Grey's Anatomy with Charmed, especially because Grey's Anatomy is on ABC and it's CBS who's talking about a reboot.
Now putting it in Miami and crossing it with CSI...or crossing it with NCIS...oooo, now *that* could be fun! And that would give it the darkness and seriousness that most fans want.

Ooohhh CSI! I just love Grey's Anatomy a bit too much, I sometimes wonder what Meredith and Prue would talk about or how Christina would react to Freebie. These days I'm sort of leaning to a fictional setting like Sunnydale or Mystic Falls. Mainly because it allows the writers to create a town history, which I love

Sorry, never watched "Grey's Anatomy", so I really can't reply to any of that.
Can someone else?
Hmmm...you're right about the town history, but if that takes away from the sisters/roommates too much, I wouldn't like it. And I do prefer when the show fits in with the actual city. It's why having it happen in Salem could be such fun...

Yeah, a fictional place is what I like! I hate to mention Buffy again (I am in the middle of a Buffy series rewatch) but that is something they did well with Sunnydale. Sunnydale was located on top of "the hell mouth" which explained why the demonic activity was so concentrated in that area.

And San Francisco was on top of a wiccan nexus, as Salem probably would be. You sure don't need an imaginary town to have something like that.

It would be cool if they tied in "Charmed" with the new location.. You know how the manor is located on top of a spiritual/wiccan nexus? What if the new roommates came from different places across the USA/Canada and the city in the middle was the centre of the pentagram, with San Fran being one of the points on the pentagram?

Roommates? No thank you. One of the best things in Charmed was the the sibling connection. The sisterly love. Take that out, and you get even worse S5-8.

Roomates don't work. No way. That's a different show. Unless each roommate channeled one of the Elements and each came from powerful family lines that come together to form the Charmed Ones.
Could make a fun series. But no way it should've been what Charmed did. The sisterhood is the whole foundation of the appeal for the show.

I've always disagreed that Charmed MUST be biologically related siblings, only. I think you can still promote "sisterhood" meaning women coming together and supporting one another message without the biological requirement. I think that would've been a much stronger and more valuable impact than a show centered around one family.
