Me neither. they turned out to be pretty lame duck villains. I mean they had all this build up and for what, these clowns? As I have said only the oldest one, who's name eludes me, was truly evil.
Paul, the middle brother, seemed to be a live and let live kind of character. If left to his own devices, he probably would have been content to led Brendon go his own way. And let's not forget that Paul sacrificed himself to save Brendon from big bad brother.
No, the Rowe Brothers were a one shot thing, best forgotten.

These speculations on who would win is pointless. Why? Because these battles would be taking place on the show . . . which means that the Halliwells will end up victorious. That's why these speculations are pointless to me. Why would the Halliwells battle the Rowes in Season 3, when they met the brothers in Season 1? As I'm sure you know, this is all fun and what if's. It's yet another fun what if. But you don't wanna hear it. |

That's why these speculations are pointless to me. Why would the Halliwells battle the Rowes in Season 3, when they met the brothers in Season 1? As I'm sure you know, this is all fun and what if's. It's yet another fun what if. But you don't wanna hear it. Haven't you figured it out? Most of the fans who like fun and like figuring out "what ifs" are no longer here. *shrug* Well, unless it has something to do with Rex and Hannah - then some people who are still here like it... It's one of the main reasons why I haven't been around that much lately. This site is getting boring. |

In all seriousness though, I think the main problem is simply the passage of time. Charmed has been over and done with for almost ten years now. There are no new episodes to discuss (unless you follow the comics, but there are many that don't), so what's left. Also, unlike Joss Whedon, none of the Charmed production staff have an online presence or interacts with the fans. So there is no one for the fans to rally around to keep the momentum going. As far as I can see, this is the last purely Charmed board that is still active. Many others have been abandoned or are in "Maintenance Mode", which basically means they're dead. Sad but true, I'm afraid.

Exactly. I tend to avoid those threads because I have nothing new to add to the subject. Plus, some of things that were fun here have stopped. I enjoyed P3Nathan's amusing reviews. As most of you know, he promised us he was doing both Seasons One and Eight. And yet, he hasn't not posted any reviews since September 22nd. When I queried when the next review would be up, he never answered (even though he has been on since I made that post and must have seen it). |

Even more than that, what about the seasonal discussions, contests, and whatnot? Those things livened the site up and gave people a reason to come here. Heck, even the drab grey appearance of this site is alone enough to turn people off. This site really suffers by not having an active Admin. |

Yeah, Aretha did all that. And, of course, it stopped when she abandoned the board in 2012.
I can think of a couple of people here who would be excellent Admins. Unfortunately, only Aretha can hand the full reigns over, and she's nowhere to be found.
Jackie, who is the closest thing this board has to an Admin, is limited in this regard. From what I understand, she has less powers than I do at Glued To The Screen, and I'm a Global Moderator over there (for example, I can ban people, something Jackie can't do here).
A troll could just wander in here and reek all sorts of havoc. Thankfully, that hasn't happened, and I hope it never does (knocking on wood here).

P3nathan's reviews take a lot of time, it's not always possible to spend hours in the Cafè Right now I'm in a cafe de Las Huertas, I stopped working after seven hours of shots for a commercial, I relax before going home and getting ready for my Friday night, so I like to spend an hour in the Cafè, but I'ld not have the time to post a job like that of Nathan! mmilano had a nice idea, now she is travelling, sooner or later she'll come back Meanwhile the issue of "what is" is fun, I think it's a good idea |

I've had both King Timothy and Queen ElizabethNewmember [as my friends and I have called them for a very long time. They've called me Queen Esmeralda ever since I stopped them from turning The Charmed Sons site into The Rex and Hannah Chronicles when most of the members were Charmed Sons fans (which I'm not - I only hung around the fanfic area so I could share fics I like, but I knew that's what the other members wanted), so tell me who's truly the monarchs who think that everyone should feel the same way they do and who isn't?] blocked for a long time - the site is so much more fun to read that way. I hoped they'd be better members when they joined this site, but when I saw they were doing the same things here that they did when discussing the Cafe at their own site and treating other members who disagree with them the same horrible way that they did there, that's when I blocked them. I very much on purpose didn't read what you quoted them saying because I have absolutely no desire to read what vitriol they've come up with this time. If they want to poison the Cafe, that's their problem, not mine. Anyone who doesn't like their poison, I suggest they do the same thing. And if you think I'm the one spreading poison, then go ahead and block me. |

Perhaps some of you remember the Queen Piper incident. That poor girl was a member here for about a month, before she left and deleted her account. And, as you can all see, she specifically cited Es as the reason why she left.
God help you if you're a fan of Piper or Chris. Es takes every opportunity to tell us what horrible characters they were. I guess having Piper and Chris as her whipping characters wasn't enough, because now she's added Cole to her list of Worst Charmed Characters Ever.
Es takes every opportunity to trash my Rex and Hannah Chronicles, yet she also is willing to disregard 75% percent of canon Charmed because it doesn't fit into her own head canon. Hipocracy, thy name is Es.
Well, Es, let me tell you this. You may have driven poor Queen Piper away, but if you think you can do the same to me, you better think again. I'm here to stay, and I will continue to promote my Rex and Hannah Chronicles here, whether you like it or not. However, just hide behind the Block button like the coward you are.
