Seems so uncanny that similar picture moments with the sisters and Prue existed also for the sisters and Paige. Almost as if the writers worked towards recreating those moments Almost, but I think you're giving them too much credit. With *trying* (but not succeeding...) in making the second set also seem like sisters over five seasons, the fact that there's so few common pictures tells me that they lucked out.

Astral Prue really needed another episode. Just saw this again and it reminded me of this post: If Rose, Alyssa, Holly and Shannon all agreed to return to do Charmed in the present day, then my idea for Prue's return would be for the sisters to discover there is an astral version of prue that's been out there. They find out that while prue was dying, and while still unconscious and right before her final breath, her alter ego astral prue, the one we saw in "Just Harried" was let loose again. And she remained permanently loose for some magical reason. She was now living in a different city, as she wanted to be as far away from the other sisters as possible. One of the sisters, maybe Paige, while protecting a new charge, in this present time, spots this Prue somewhere by accident. Paige thinks it was a look alike but to the other sisters amazement, after further investigation, they find out it's the same astral prue from before. And once again this prue wants to be left alone and doesn't want to be found. Because prue is an astral form, it is why the "to call a lost witch" spell didn't summon her in the past. But Phoebe figures out she can summon her. Phoebe uses the spell she used before in "just harried" and is able to summon prue to the manor. Phoebe wasn't too keen on using the spell since she is once again having to use the BOS after not opening the book for so long. Fear of what would happen if they start using the BOS again. But even though this isn't the real prue, they all try to convince her to stick around and think about coming back into the family. She still has all prues memories but this is just the fearless version of her. Who likes to act before thinking . And she's been living a wild and crazy and reckless life for the past 15 years or so. But she has grown weary of it and really wants something else exciting to do. So while being convinced to stay , this Prue realizes Demon hunting may be a good thing and of great interest to her. Creatures she can beat up, so she agrees to stay but starts aggressively looking for demonic trouble, and ends up bringing demon threats back into the charmed ones lives. This prue has no kids so she has no issues tackling demons head on. She's now living back in the manor with piper and Leo and their 3 kids. Phoebe, piper and Paige have to deal with this new reality and dynamics with this Prue injecting herself into their lives and trying to take charge like she used to in the past. Paige ends up being the one willing to try and teach this prue responsible demon fighting as she's the only one still doing it at this time. And when the demons on one of the occasions, get attacked by this prue, they realize the older sister is back, making them 4 in number now, and they see it as a threat to them. So now the truce with the charmed ones is over. There is also the human baggage this prue brings with questionable acquaintances she's had over the years that keep showing up and bringing trouble. Mostly non demonic. And there is another aspect of all of this phoebe and piper are struggling with grasping. What if the reason that the real prue couldn't be healed and ended up dying in AHBL was because this astral prue, having been released, was way too strong. If they had known back then and summoned astral prue back and then forced her back into the real prues body, could the real prue have lived? And since this astral prue now exists, she is the "ID" prues inner desires, as Phoebe explained in season 3. So the "ego" the control factor version of prue is who died. So is the spirit of that version of prue " the ego" somewhere out there that could be summoned to make prue whole again? This raises the question of if grams and patty really have Prue with them. Were they lying to them by saying they couldn't see prue, and just didn't want to tell the sisters that they don't know what happened to her and her spirit never crossed over to them in the after life? I *so* wish this is what they'd do for the 20th anniversary next year!!! I think that thats a great idea

The family moments
I remember how Prue swiming out of the pool and defeating Baras. She goes home telling Piper she loves her.
Piper wanting to see if she was evil and trying to enter the church. It took a good talk from Phoebe to help her.
Phoebe burning at the stake after that epic speech.
Paige sitting in the back seat of that car trying to right the wrong with her foster parents.
The fun moments
Phoebe as Genie
Piper becoming a fury
Paige casting her first personal gain spell
Prue saving Maggie Murphy

These are so many but some of my favorite emotional moments and funny moments are from season 8 Emotional moments - Paige telling Henry she’s a witch at dinner - Repo Manor - Piper saying her goodbyes to phoebe moving out - Repo Manor Funny - Piper holding a carving knife and threatening Billie with vanquishing her if she got caught - Piper walking in on Phoebe giving Billie a piece of her mind after Billie cast a love spell that got her married to dex, then giving her a piece of her mind also. Then her reaction seeing the size of phoebes ring on her finger - Getting soccer punched a second time by a possessed phoebe - Repo Manor. First time was in ‘A Paige form the past” when possessed phoebe ‘lulu” knocked her out in the kitchen after she said lulu sounded like a poodle. - piper ‘Jenny bennet” freaking out in the club over how victor spent so much money in the club In One week. “Leo fine, but you need to come down here and find a way to save our financial butts” - still charmed and kicking” - Piper “Jenny” having a meltdown in front of the electrician when he couldn’t fix the power in the club - “Malice in Wonderland”

From an emotional standpoint, Id say when the Elders finally gave in and Leo and Piper finally had their wedding. That was very cool.
The ending scene in Leos world war 2 ghosts episode was cool too with all the old soldiers coming up to Leo to thank him for saving their lives. Of course they thought he was Leos grandson lol.
Idk I could go on all day lol

This is pretty broad, more “general things I loved” than any specific moments. But here’s my list:
• The lead actresses. All of them – Shannen, Holly, Alyssa & Rose. Excellent main cast. • Julian McMahon forever. • Halliwell manor. What a gem of a setting (especially attic, sunroom, kitchen). • “How Soon Is Now” intro theme. • Whitelighter concept with good souls becoming guardian angels to help witches protect their innocents. Can sense when they’re in trouble, heal, teleport to them, ask Elders for info. Very cool part of the Charmed verse. • Leo’s backstory as a WWII hero. I was especially touched by the “Saving Private Leo” story and Leo’s guilt over losing his childhood friends who enlisted with him, and then later going to the vet ceremony with Piper and getting to see all the good he did & people he saved that went on to have families. That probably did more for his character than anything. • Leo & Piper’s love story. Come on. Iconic. • Introduction of Cole as an especially ambitious, smart & dangerous demon who infiltrated the human world so well because he was half-human, and then Phoebe started bringing that repressed humanity out in him. ALSO ICONIC. • The handling of Shannen’s exit that allowed the show to continue on in an authentic & believable way. The writers were not in easy position there and they came up with the PERFECT story that brought some high-quality drama. Their mother’s affair with her whitelighter comes back, an unknown half-whitelighter sister is introduced, Piper & Phoebe don’t know if they can accept her or their destiny again, Paige has to learn about the magical world & how to be a witch (and quick, with the Source trying to finish them off while they’re down), Piper has to grow to take Prue’s place as head of the family… • Wyatt as the very powerful firstborn Charmed child. I especially loved his birth – magic dying, magical community panicking, the wacky gifts sent to the house. • Wyatt being so feared that an Elder would try to kill him and inadvertently end up turning him against good. I was *very intrigued* by Hot & Evil Adult Wyatt – pity we didn’t get more scenes with him. Aaand his little brother going back in time to “save” him (and their family, and the world).
This show actually had so many good things in terms of worldbuilding, lead actors, and drama/ideas. There WERE gems in what they were trying to do with it all and the overarching story notes. Especially when it comes to family and love. That’s what I’m connected to – the sisters, the great forbidden loves, the children and power of the Halliwell family as a whole. Some great stuff.

OK, I have more. Here are some episodes/moments I adore:
Episodes –
Is There A Woogy in the House? That 70s Episode Morality Bites Pardon My Past P3 H2O All Halliwell’s Eve Coyote Piper Sin Francisco All Hell Breaks Loose + Charmed Again The Eyes Have It Sand Francisco Dreamin’ The Day the Magic Died Sense & Sense Ability Chris-Crossed Little Monsters It’s a Bad, Bad, Bad, Bad World
Moments That Stick With Me –
• Piper’s grief after Prue’s death. Especially Phoebe finding her in the attic trying to summon her ghost, and then her confronting Leo & saying he saved her because she’s his wife but he should have saved Prue because “she was the best”. *tears up* • Cole trying to find his way after becoming human and losing his powers. Going from Powerful Big Bad to trying to find a job and buying a gun for protection. • Chris’s temper tantrum when he finds out that Wyatt had powers from inside the womb. “Oh, come on!” Lol. • The sisters going to the church where Sam & Patty left baby Paige and the nun telling her “You come from angels.” And then Paige orbing the candle into her hand to discover her powers. • All of the sisters’ perfectly enhanced flaws in “Sin Francisco”. Prue strutting around, saving people on camera and ignoring her gunshot wound. Phoebe telling her professor she isn’t wearing underwear. Piper going on an obsessive shopping bender and filling up the whole house. Hahahaha. • When Phoebe died in the explosion at the end of S8 and Piper pulled her body out of the rubble and cradled her. Then told Leo to “hold her” when she heard a cough and thought Paige might still be alive but it turned out to be Billie and she straight up CHOKED her out. • The sisters trying to separate baby Wyatt from the baby demon in Little Monsters but they didn’t want to be separated & kept orbing/shimmering to each other and it was so cute. • Dark Wyatt coming after the Book & Baby Wyatt at magic School and Piper attacking him. “Ouch. Seriously never had you pegged as the type of parent to hit your kid.” • When Leo went a little dark & had an existential crisis after discovering an ELDER had been trying to kill his infant son. Never thought I’d see Leo electrocute someone to death. He was fierce. Hey, you guys – Leo was FIERCE.
Ahh, so many. I don’t want my post to go on forever. But it is nice to remember the awesome stuff.

Hahaha! This is an awesome moment in one of the best episodes! Fun Phoebe, Practical Piper and the Fearless Prue! That's my all time favorite scene. Obviously why I selected it as my display pic. I love this scene so much because it's one of those times when Charmed is showing the stereotypes, comedically but practically in a meaningful way. Through 'knowledge and reference' and while also protesting the "Way women are depicted as witches in popular culture" before they are sucked back to the 1600's. It doesn't feel cheesy - it makes you smile and believe in magic! Which is why I love some of these episodes. I also love my episode still from this episode in my Display Pic because it's so Fun Phoebe. Making a statement, while also showcasing her cleavage - much more tastefully in the first few seasons!!!

I remember as a young teen, maybe 13, Charmed would be on at 7.30pm on a Wednesday. I would purposely have all my assignments, projects, chores and homework completed on Monday and Tuesday so I could be AMP'ed for Wednesday. That way for an hour, I could escape, without my parents hounding me for my homework and chores so I could just embrace Charmed for that hour. And I would be tape recording it, rewinding the tape during the commercial break so the whole hour could just be Charmed. I loved the next day, going to school and debriefing the episode from the night before. Mostly the really funny moments, when the girls looked really good and how we all could relate to forbidden love/responsibilities/loss/family dynamics. I miss Classic Charmed
