Brain Drain the the best and fave for me when combined. I'mma pick S4E11 "Trial by Magic". S4E7 "Brain Drain" feels like Cole did all of the work. Not that I'm mad about it. I just know the criteria of "sisters only" is very big, in the fandom. And, I think S4E11 "Trial by Magic" fits that mold. Especially since Cole is not even in this episode, and this is pre-Source Cole. Not to mention, this episode is not about OG Source, either, for those who hate that storyline, too. All the sisters be on the case, and it's sisterly and funny. S4E7 "Brain Drain" is a little too serious, for me. |

Changing my mind around 'cause I've been doing some side projects, in watching the show, in a different way, and I have a new appreciation for certain episodes, now. Here is my new "Top 5": -S4E4 "Enter the Demon" -S4E5 "Size Matters" -S4E8 "Black as Cole" -S4E11 "Trial by Magic" -S4E20 "Saving Private Leo" Another Size Matters fan. I didn't think I'd meet another one. Reason for it, it's like the only episode, Post-S3 that has Phoebe having both premonitions and levitating. Along with Piper freezing and blowing up things. IK Paige isn't traveling orbing, at this time, but I'm fine with that. And, reason for liking S4E8 "Black as Cole" is it's the only episode, Post-S3 that contains basic powers via Phoebe only has a premonition in this episode (doesn't levitate), and Piper only freezes (isn't blowing anything up). Funny enough, Paige doesn't use her powers, at all, in this episode. So, it's interesting seeing only Phoebe & Piper using their powers Post-Prue's death, and what could've been if Paige didn't come around. Although, Paige did brew a potion, but Piper was teaching her, so it's not like Piper couldn't make the potion, herself LOL |

Okay season 4 I think toes with 3 as my favourite and I think I adore all 22 episodes for a variety of reasons my top three are- GOLD- charmed and dangerous SILVER- Long Live The Queen BRONZE- Womb Raider Charmed Again was a two hour EVENT and I adore It so so much, He'll hath no fury, crouching tiger hidden demon, size matters, brain drain, Paige from the past, bite me, marry go round, were off to see the wizard, are all just top tier we were so so lucky to get such an incredible run  |

Now, that I'm done ranking S4 with my new guidelines & rules: With my new obsession regarding Power Balance (ALL THREE sisters using their powers/abilities, in the SAME episode, including Phoebe's Martial Abilities) AND "Protect/Save the Innocent(s)" type of episodes, I wanted to see how the list would like, now. Priorities- Power Balance. ALL THREE sisters MUST use their powers/abilities, in the SAME episode. This includes Phoebe's (Strength) Martial Arts. And, how well the episode ACTUALLY balances out their powers, where no one sister feels like their powers/abilities are being used more than another. - "Protect/Save the Innocent(s)". I'm more invested in episodes protecting/saving innocents than an episode simply attacking the Charmed Ones, no Innocent(s) involved. - ALL THREE Sisters. ALL THREE sisters are to be present/around during most of the fighting/final fight. Surprisingly, not every sister is involved, funny enough. - Family History. If not "Protect/Save the Innocent(s)" type of episodes, then I will settle for a "Family History" type of episode over something generically going after the Charmed Ones. - Original Powers/Abilities. I love rewatching Long Live the Queen. Its hands down my fave episode to rewatch. The scene when Phoebe finally vanquishes Cole and the sisters on the bed at the end - i could watch over and over again.

Paige TK-Orbs Gamil's Wand, Piper sets off an explosion to help shrink Gamil & then freezes him & Phoebe came up with the PO3 spell, taught it to her sisters & chanted it with them to vanquish Gamil.
S4E6 "A Knight to Remember"
Paige taps into the Evil Enchantress' powers & uses it against her & both Phoebe & Piper throw power stripping potions at the Evil Enchantress.
S4E20 "Long Live the Queen"
Piper keeps exploding Source Cole to keep him stun locked, while Paige set out the cage crystals, Phoebe sets the last cage crystal & joins her sisters on the PO3 vanquish spell to vanquish Source Cole.

Always loved this episode and getting more backstory, for Leo. Plus, I have a memory with this episode 'cause a friend loves one of the actors who played Rick (and knew I loved Charmed and wanted me to show her this episode because of him), so this episode has a special place, in my heart <3
S4E19 "We're off to See the Wizard"
Always loved this episode & the end of the episode just being really cool, when Phoebe becomes Queen of the Underworld LOL
