I wasn't aware How to Make a Quilt Out of Americans was popular at all or had fans. I always lump this with Old Black Magic as the worst of S2.
But That Old Black Magic felt like an S1 episode or leftover story. Same with the Painted World, those two feel like plots for S1, just rewritten with current events for S2.

This is the hardest Season to pick the best episodes from.
I just finished watching They're Everywhere which is really an underrated episode.
So is Reckless Abandoned.
In fact I think the only bad episodes in Season 2 are, the Devils Music, She's A Man Baby, Animal Prag and That Old Black Magic. 18/22 isn't bad!

I never thought about it like that. But those episodes do feel S1 like. Leftover ideas or script specs from S1. I'm sure Charmed had many episodes reworked for a following season or held over. Not every episode is written in order. Sometimes I believe a writer might script or do a spec of a story that sits for later in a season, or a later season episode is scripted earlier than one that comes before. Enter the Demon felt like a pre Shannen fired episode idea. |

Many people picked "Morality Bites", as one of their favorite episodes, and though I like it, it isn't one of my favorites. I enjoy watching it from time to time, but I don't rank it as one of the ones I enjoyed the most. I do, however, think That Old Black Magic was one of the worst of season 2. It just didn't measure up to what I thought was one of my favorite seasons. There was another episode that I saw on here many people liked, but it wasn't one of my favorites, either. I can't remember which one it was. I watch it again occasionally, for those funny parts, and because the actress who played Tuwatha (sp?) is a good actress who I've seen in other shows/movies. However, certain parts of that episode were just too silly for me, so I ended up rating it as one of the worst of that season. I don't really think I've ever seen anyone who liked that episode. I'm going to have to go back and read through this thread and see if there was anyone who said they liked it. It would be interesting to find someone who did, and have them state what they liked, and why they saw it as a good episode. They may have noticed something I didn't. |

Were all have different tastes, some episodes might be so hated by many, but you can find something you like in it. Some episodes can be a little dull but I find something in it I like. It's when the sisters act out of character, that I can't like the episode. Animal Pragmatism doesn't get much love here either. I've looked through the season favorite polls and looking at the bottom 2, interesting results. |

I agree that I liked the idea that Piper's sickness wasn't caused by magic, but it's also why she should've stayed dead. And I love how she convinces her sisters to let her die, like Phoebe did in 'Morality Bites' - but again it's why she should've stayed dead the way Phoebe would've stayed dead in the future. This is also when Leo should've been taken away and not been allowed to come back - him just having his wings taken wasn't enough, especially when he got to stay with Piper. Especially if Paige only got Piper's power of freezing with it working *exactly* like Piper's and a single whitelighter powers like orbing, how much better the series would've been! I doubt if they would've fired Shannen after already letting Holly go so the series probably would've only lasted three seasons and Holly wouldn't be griping about the ripoff or not getting the Book of Shadows (I can SO see how S5-8 Piper is based on Holly!) SO much better! |

No, that story (my contest entry) included Leo helping out Phoebe. That works for me; I don't think it would work for Alyssa unless that was during the time when she was dating Brian Krause. I wasn't considering that as a start of a spin-off, just an alternate ending for Charmed. But now I can see how it could've been, although it wouldn't have included Phoebe exocising the Source since in mine, once Prue and Piper were gone, the Source was no longer interested in Phoebe, and I would've liked to have seen that done better.

A witch's trail to me was the heart of charmed where they got back to their roots. I liked the alter used to summon abraxas and the little nature walk Piper & Phoebe have in the nude. It felt they were stronger, better and more powerful from last season. It also shows each sister contributes in their own way instead of saying Prue was the strongest and didn't need them.
Abraxas is an amazing villian in his own right as his costume looks great, his methods of attack we're affective and the first demon to successfully take the book.
It even brings back the best nasties from season one Jeremy, the woogy and Nicholas.
I have to give honerable mention to Prue for her amazing scene where she grieves Andy and doesn't know if she can be a witch anymore if they lose everyone they love.
It's a theme I felt they could've carried over the seasons as a precaution instead of Willy dilly I'm in love and that's it.

Does anyone else think that Awakened is over rated? It's one of my least-favorite episodes, even if it includes one of my favorite scenes - the one where Piper tells her sisters why they have to let her die. She should've - that's when we should've met Paige - Leo never should've been able to heal someone who had died and no way the Elders should not have known he did it - and when they found out, he should've been recycled on the spot! Just taking his powers and letting him stay with Piper was SO stupid! Plus the deadly toy come alive - oh, give me a break! |

Does anyone else think that Awakened is over rated? I felt that way like I do 'All Hell Breaks Loose'. The acting and death scenes and sisterly moments were great but most of the plot wasn't. Too many things that annoyed me. |
