Inspired by my charmed period and string of episodes thread, why not go for the sisters.
And last and certainly not least is Prue
I divided it up into 9 periods, and tried to work them to Prue's storylines and arcs.
I look forward to hearing what peoples favorite Prue periods are and I decided to allow everyone to pick 4 choices. I cut it down from 5 which I normally allow for previous editions, seeing as she has less seasons.

In the last period Prue had become too dominant, I didn't vote it

Ditto. Liked her best in the middle. Too stick-in-the-mud at the beginning; too Power of One at the end. Glad she died when she did - wish she had during "Apocalypse Not" so she would've died saving the world, not a creep and so she could be seen in flashbacks and as a ghost. I'd love to have not seen her again until Piper's wedding...

Indeed in Morality Bites Prue looks as a vain and overbearing woman but I think that the maturation process of a person goes on many years and it’s not guaranteed that it should be linear Maybe that was a step to overcome for Pure to be able to become a woman strong but to understand when it's time to stop

**bump** for new members and those who haven't seen this thread, given how much discussion I've seen in the past month since I wasn't on.

All of Season 1 and all of Season 3. I find that Prue is almost nonexistent in Season 2 and the little character exploration that she does receive is inconsequential because the subsequent episodes do not reference or build up on it. It's telling that by Season 3 her photography occupation was all but forgotten. Didn't like the contrived reason for leaving Buckland, either. Would have preferred if she had stood her ground in true Prue fashion than run away. I do appreciate the fact that Prue finally gets the opportunity to relax and re-discover herself through her dreams than through a man.

I can't stand Just Harried the episode because of her, and where she started to get on my nerves. Sorry to people who love that episode.

I like Just Harried. It showed that Prue wasn't perfect and showed how much she sacrificed. Though I study Psychology so I could be biased.

I actually liked where they went with Just Harried, if only because an episode about a wedding just focusing on the bride and groom and actually turning out right? Kind of boring. And Phoebe and Prue's discussion at the end?:
Prue: Is Piper very mad at me? Phoebe: She’ll get over it. And you know why? Because we’re okay now, Piper and me. We’ve both got passion and purpose in our lives. And you gave us that. Prue: I did? Phoebe: You took care of us. And now it is time to take care of you.
I dug that. Phoebe displayed such a mature, understanding attitude, and really summed up a lot of what I think the show had been building up to by that point: that Phoebe and Piper have found their way in life and no longer need an infallible leader-type to look up to in Prue, that Prue can relax and trust them to take charge on equal standing, and that she needs to recognize that and even let them catch her where she fails.

I did, too - I just didn't think Piper's wedding was a proper spot for it. I would've preferred one of Leo's charges needing him right at the worst time and Piper using that to decide against the wedding and eventually being talked into it - even when it happens again, but this time Piper telling him to go ahead and help his charge - they can always get married later, but he gets back just in time for the wedding to take place. I think I would've liked what did happen if that actually was the start of Prue living her own life while still being the leader, rather than just continuing to be more mother than sister, but that didn't happen. Something like this should've been part of Season Two, about the time she decides to become a photographer (especially if we'd seen signs of that since the beginning of the series) and then she slowly lets her sisters take care of themselves as she becomes big sister, not substitute mother, so when she dies they don't turn into Poor, Poor Pitiful Piper and PhoeME. As is, it can never be one of my favorite episodes, even if it has some of my favorite scenes, and that's all due to Prue.

It would've been nice seeing Piper realize and accept the consequences of Leo's job, and that there's another witch on the other line who could be in a life-or-death situation. Talk about the dream!

That's all part of my Dream Charmed, although in mine, it's Phoebe marrying Andy, not Piper marrying Leo since Leo stays away after 'Love Hurts' and instead Piper falls for Neighbor Dan who instead is Neighbor Henry who *can* accept her as a witch when he learns about her being a witch the same way Paige showed Henry, but they're not even engaged by the end of the series. Naturally that version is my "kid-less" version that only goes three seasons and doesn't include whitelighters (or demons who aren't the Demons of or halves - Cole is a warlock) beyond Season One. That's my true Dream Series. How 'bout you, Hexe? I'd *love* to know what your Dream Charmed would've been like. Even tho - hehehehe - we're off topic (I know - so what else is new?)
