What are your thoughts on the minor character aka Darryl's wife Shila Morris? I enjoyed the screen time she had gotten. She was also a nice character I wish we got to see more of her and Darryl. We've known about her since Prue was alive.

Yes I would've liked to have seen here more before season 5 definitely even if it was a couple of times as suddenly we were just introduced to her at P3 then when it fact she'd been mentioned season 3.
I liked her friendship with the sisters until she started moaning to Darryl about how he cared more for them than his family when months earlier she was talking with Phoebe all upset like because her and Darryl had a fight and how she'd never stop him helping the sisters but then season 7 be all bitchy like then.

I was always happy to see her, but for totally shallow reasons; i.e: I think Sandra Prosper is a very attractive woman.
Her issues with the sisters could have been alright, but because they didn't really give her enough screen time to develop anything properly, it just seemed to come out of nowhere. Had Darryl revealed the events of s6 to her, it would've made sense, but it's heavily implied that he doesn't... so her change in attitude just ends up being out of the blue and contradictory to how she's been previously.

Yeah, her change of tone at the end of S7 came totally out of the blue. Right, she spoke with Inspector Sheridan but still, there were friends for so long. Even she came to them as Chris was supposed to be arrested at the end of S6. Very weird in my eyes!! *sighs*

Eurgh, she was fine at first but then she started randomly hating the sisters, shut up Sheila.

I don't know why they changed her tone (she is adorable, by the way!) so suddenly just to create conflict with the whole Sheridan thing.
I mean it would be normal to be worried with the supernatural and your husbands soul being stolen by your local witches now and again, but she seemed to really like and be ok with the sisters. She didnt remember the Death Row bit like Darryl did so it was very out of nowhere, 'our family or theirs.' Like the only thing I can think of is that Sheridan really played up the risks and made her freak out in their little talk, but I prefer to put the blame on drama for drama's sake.

Truth be told, I was rather indifferent to her.

I had no use for her, especially when it became clear that her main purpose was to turn Darryl against the sisters. The show (and Darryl) was better off before we ever saw or knew of her.

If Sheila's main purpose was to turn Darryl against the sisters, then KUDOS to her. They deserved it, especially after the crap they had put him through in Season 6. However, it is obvious that Sheila, like a lot of other characters, was a victim of bad writing.

My guess is Sheila is playing second fiddle to the Charmed Ones and maybe questioning Darryl on where his loyalties lie.

I like Sheila but I didn't like how she turned on the sister, especially as she seemed to understand or at least accept that Darryl was put in danger protecting the sisters. I mean I can understand being scared and worried but to be understanding one minute and then cold and rude the next is really weird

I liked her because it allowed the sisters to have a female friend. I hated how they did a 180 with her character in season 7.

I really liked her in the beginning but towards the end of season 7 she changed. I think the writers did this because they wanted a reason for Darryl to leave San Francisco and she made that clear when she said, "our family or theirs" I don't know if they knew the low budget they would be given at the time they wrote the script but that would be my guess.

Yeah it was very strange how she suddenly changed. She wasn't seen in a whole season from the end of season 6 to end of season 7. So we never even saw how she suddenly changed her view on the sisters. But again, Darryl was cut from season 8 due to budget. But they must have known something in advance to end his story this way.

Thats the only reason I could think of for such the dramatic change... I mean besides bad writing ;P

Sheila was a nice character, I just found her transformation really odd. But you have to remember that Sheila might not have known the whole story, and found out sometime later. This might have upset her. We will never know, because she just disappeared for almost all of season 7.

I just found her character off putting in season 7. Too bad because I liked the sisters having friends. Sheila was a character we could of saw more of.

I agree that Darryl could have told her how he was about to be killed after they got in the big fight causing Sheila to be upset not only at him but the sisters for putting him in the position

I actually didn't like Darryl's exit, I liked that he left town and didn't die. But his exit could of been handled better. But maybe Sheila's part in it was more bad for not knowing much of her feelings earlier. But i agree with what you said.

I had no issues with Sheila even when she talked to inspector Sheridan about him. But what I didn't like was after Leo showed up to warn them she's trying to talk Daryl out of helping. I really expected her to be the one to talk Daryl into helping and Daryl being the one to be reluctant. It completely threw me off.
