Hello everyone, I've been away recently to recharge the old life batteries and while I was away I was able to conjure up a good (if I do say so myself) fan fiction plan. So here is a little intro for what you can expect in the next month or so. I'm mainly posting this now so that you know when the premiere is due out and that way I'll meet the deadline (I'm better writing fics to a schedule.)
A good few years a go now, I wrote a fan fiction called Charmed As It Never Was, in which I told a season 4 story where Prue lives and the original power of three continues. I've always been fascinated thinking about how season 4 might have been had Shannen remained in the cast and the sisterhood had stayed intact. There has been a lot of talk recently about how if Shannen had stayed, season 4 probably would have been the show's last and that got me thinking. Re-reading my season 4, there's much I'd like to change and another thing is that I've never written a series finale before. So, my intention is this: put my all into this one season and write my ideal final season of Charmed with the original sisters.
Will Paige be in it? No. I know there are some fans who believe Paige would have been introduced eventually, but I'm not one of them. I like Paige, but this is for the Prue, Piper and Phoebe. No long lost sisters and certainly no "power of four". No disrespect to any P4-fic writers; it's just not my thing.
How many episodes? I currently intend the season to be 24 "episodes" long.

Oh, P3Nathan, I can't begin to tell you how excited I am about this!! I do hope you decide to post your series here at the Cafe - lots of fans have been posting theirs on Wikia and for some reason my laptop won't let me see anything beyond the homepage - the links and the menus just won't work for me.

I LOVED the credits - all about what the show is supposed to be about - the sisters and their powers, not how beautiful and sexy they were. And I can't help wonder how much of teasers they are. Will S3-4 be canon? (I noticed Piper doing her explosion thing) and will it follow S4 at all not counting the Paige parts (and personally I'm thrilled silly that she won't be part of it...she tends to become a Mary Sue in most virtual series.? Also I noticed Cole in his black outfit from "All Hell Breaks Loose". Will he either give in to or be possessed by the Source or will Phoebe be stuck with him down in the Underworld with her sisters trying to save her (the way I've always imagined S4 should've been done so Shannen and Alyssa could "get along")? And, naturally, you don't have to answer that if it would be too much of a spoiler - that's just to let you know where my mind is...
Speaking of, will this be written in script-form or in prose? Script-form always makes it seem more like a real virtual series.

Glad to hear it . Oh me too, I've always been very interested in different people's ideas. It's why I've always been drawn to alternate season 4s so much. It could be so repetitive, but different fans seem to have such different ideas.
Thank you, Tim. All credit goes to theSupercasa for that one. I asked her to maintain the feel of the s1-3 openings and she did that so successfully. Huge thanks to her if she happens to be reading this. Very impressive video skills. I'm especially in love with how she put the Prue clips together; they look so genuine. They really do look like an official season opening, I'm very proud of them.

To answer your questions-
I will be posting episodes on this thread and also as Tim suggested, I'll probably post them to my FF.net account (if I can track down my log in- ages since I used it).
Season 3 will be entirely canon. Much as I'd like to ignore Piper's explosion power, I have some ideas about how to balance it a bit more, without turning Prue into an unstoppable god-witch.
I will say that you might be onto something as far as the opening is concerned haha. I think most of your questions will be answered with the premiere; you'll probably have a good idea of the season's direction.
It'll be in prose. It was a difficult decision to make, but I enjoy the level of descriptive writing and detail that prose allows... plus I've been somewhat inspired by Paul Ruditis' recent e-books.

That's actually a very good reason not to do them in script - Fanfiction.net doesn't allow them. If necessary, you can always change your password. I've had to do that a few times when I've forgotten mine. As long as you remember which email address you used, you should be fine.

OOOPS! I assume you mean Piper, although I have a hunch that if Prue had stuck around, it would be her who would be turned into an unstoppable god-witch - she was halfway there at the end of S3, so that must be what Kern thought the oldest should be like.
Looking forward to seeing how you balance out Piper's explosion powers (hopefully she never gains full control of it - like when she wants to explode she freezes and vice versa. That would be funny. Also hopefully it will only back off medium-level and high-level demons like Prue's TK does, not actually vanquish them. Or maybe certain demons will be able to regenerate after being exploded. All of those could be a lot of fun. I'm also hoping you don't make Prue any more powerful than she already is and don't decide to give Phoebe any active powers. And if you could figure a way to make it so PHOEBE astral-projects while PRUE levitates, that would be great.
I know, I know. I'm great with ideas but not-so-great writing them, and this is obviously all yours. I hope you don't decide to use any of my ideas just because you like them - only if they fit in with what you yourself already have planned.

Only one more day! Will it "air" every Friday? Are you going to have a certain time when it will be "aired"? That would really make it seem like a final season, and something to look forward to each week! That's what my friend Lexi did with her virtual series (except she had it "air" on Sundays at the same time that Charmed aired) and it really did seem like I was watching a real series and it would be great if we get to do that with yours.
Hopefully you already have 5 or 6 episodes in the "can" - it's best not to start "airing" a new series until you do, unless it will just be a typical WiP where you make us wait.
