I personally would love to see games such as this in topic appropriate boards, but I believe a decision to the contrary was made some years back. It couldn't hurt to ask for a review of that decision though. |

Just to clarify dears - according to the rules this game will end once we get down to the last 3 episodes. The last 3 episodes left standing from each season is apparently suppose to go into a grand game at the end for top episodes. So this game ends once we get down to 3 episodes.
Also the rules state You can vote again after two other votes have been cast or once per day. That was most likely done to prevent the constant deadlocks occurring.
I didn't understand it but looking over the rules - I think I might of gotten confused, but I now understand.

Granny Charmed, thanks for pointing that out. I don't think the posting amount is an issue since we are posted less often than that, but that it ends when it gets down to three is good to know. Sounds like we need the other season results for that. We may need to start them over, but I'll see if they are around somewhere.

When you're getting into the 7th page of the same contest, I think you should declare deadlocked right now.
What I've seen other sites do at this point is declare every episode that has more than 10 votes safe and keep eliminating the other ones. Then do a second round for those ones that were declared safe, starting them all over at 0, but make so any episode that reaches +5 is now safe and goes into the round with the episodes from the other seasons.
So in that case, here's how it would look:

I hope nobody minded dears - I went ahead and started a new game thread in general discussions (to hopefully be moved into games thread). I basically went through the favorite episode poll threads and took the top episodes from every season.
I know it takes the fun out of starting them all again. But I figured this way - we are using results from the Cafe for the games. And we can do the once an episode reaches 22 it is safe and - 5 is out and go for round 2.
