I feel like every season six episode must be worse than That Old Black Magic, which is IMO the worst episode of Season 2 and Seasons 1 - 4.
So even though, I picked 8 fave episodes, the quality of this show is absolutely abysmal in Seaason 6 from start to finish, every episode is a fail. It's a frustrating Season for me and I wish Charmed just ended a long time before this.

I see why some may hate this season. Chris is annoying, doling out Important info in little pieces throughout the season. Piper is always fighting with Paige, Paige with phoebe, piper with Leo, and Leo with chris. A mean elder and oh! There’s a magic school.
But these are my top 7
1. Chris Crossed: the phoenix. Family of assassin witches. My avatar says it all 😊 Bianca
2. Soul Survivor - Piper finally puts her foot down really firm with Paige and Paige takes stubbornness to a whole new level. Baby Wyatt is the only one concerned about loosing his dad and is doing something about it, and Leo and Chris’s rivalry gets them trapped in a portal
3. Love is a Witch: phoebe is at the peak of her empathy and driving her sisters totally crazy. Sad, piper kicks Leo out at the worst possible time and sheds no tears about it.
4. Witch wars: phoebe realizes how much she misses being the evil queen. Goes a bit crazy with the fire balls while vanquishing demons.
5. Prince Charmed: piper gets an epiphany that baby Wyatt is her new mission in life, no more men. Then Paige gets phoebe to be phoebe again, the phoebe we used to know, and they conjure a man for piper.
6. I dream of phoebe: very funny
7: power of 3 blonds: very very funny

Looking back... Little Monsters is an under rated episode. I'm glad it wins out against Chris Crossed. It's kinda got that Season 2 episodic and Holly/Piper focused feel and reminds me of some of the good early Season 5 episodes like Sympathy for the Demon, The Eyes That Have It, the Miles, episode.... The Power of Three Blondes is a funny and well executed episode too. The feud story arc with the Montana's is interesting. I liked the other witch families and covens too. Not a fan of I Dream of Phoebe. I feel like its a rip off and worse than the Season 2 Genie related episode which I would rate higher. Spin City minus the fairytale creatures is a good episode Witch Wars is a guilty pleasure of mine  |

Using Charmed to de stress lately.
Was watching th end of Season 6.
A couple of episodes aren’t that bad in fact they are written quite well
I Dream of Phoebe
Hyde School reunion
Witch Wars
Courtship of Wyatt’s Father
I know they aren’t perfect when it comes to inconsistencies but the acting is great and Chris becomes more interesting.
Even though Phoebe is forcing her premonitions there is one acne that made me laugh when she’s late for a date, grabs the man’s hand and then says “sorry nothing”. Made me laugh so much.
Paige is also great in these episodes and Phoebe isn’t all phoeMe.

-Valhalley of the Dolls Part 1: I always start the season with joy because of this, it is a pity that the season is so bad and it collapses as it progresses.
-Forget me not: Very entertaining. By the way, I think the cleaners stayed out of the events that caused Prue's death because Prue's fate was to be replaced by Paige. (it's an explanation that convinces me enough)
-The power of three blondes: Very funny. The three blondes are surprisingly charismatic
-Little monsters: An innocent with a good story. (Not for the standards of the first seasons but for the standards of the last.
) Grateful.
-Chris Crossed: It's good to know part of Chris's future and the episode is above the average of the season but I must say that I always found it a bit overrated. It could be better.
-The Courtship of Wyatt's father: Good and exciting. Good way to conceive Chris.
-Hyde school reunion: Really entertaining and absolutely underrated. I understand that the decision to kill a human is controversial, but it seems to me that it gives a touch of darkness and complexity to the sisters, they don't have to remain attached to the moralistic learning of the beginning. Although I think they could have developed much better the change of the sisters, giving more weight to this fact in the main plots in the future.
-Spin city: The spider demon reminds me of those charismatic demons of the first seasons that were really scary. And I like the relationship of Chris and Leo in this episode.
I like 'My three witches' a little bit. 'Love's a Witch' is not bad. I hate 'Sword and the city' and the section from 6x20 to 6x23 is the most atrocious thing of Charmed. Four holy shits together in succession. A terrible end of the season.
Well, I have to say that 'Prince Charmed' has moments that make me cringe. Is there a survey on worst chapters for each season?

I voted for Crimes and Witch demeanors. Phoebe's face dropping when Barbus points out that she is using her power of premonition to find the father of her baby was priceless. I wanted to scream....DID YOU LEARN NOTHING FROM THAT SECOND SEASON EPISODE!! What was telling about that episode is that it's focused on how irresponsible and arrogant the Charmed ones have become in terms of getting innocents hurt and putting people in danger and yet there we have Piper swooping into Darryl's jail cell in the middle of the episode arrogantly flaunting the rules again and literally offering Darryl a get out of jail free card. How was she not punished for that? I didn't want to see poor Darryl die (and i was relieved they saved him) but if i'm him that should be the final straw in terms of helping the Charmed ones going forward. Find some other patsy because i'm not letting you jeopardize my life anymore.
P.S. The writers of the show must really we think we, the audience, are stupid since all the evidence is clearly against the Charmed ones, however they are still somehow exonerated? I thought the verdict was a bad joke and all of them should been stripped of their powers. Or, as Piper suggested when she mentioned quitting, have their memories erased and their powers transferred to a different group of well meaning, responsible witches who actually CARE about helping others instead of using their powers to speed date!!!

If all their powers had been stripped there would've been no more show naturally.
What the writers could've done though is taken away Piper's molecular combustion power and Paige's orbing until they earned those back again so the P03 still existed but the sisters would have to start from the beginning essentially driving to actual vanquishes, thinking on their toes and using P03 spells again although one problem which could occur from that then is like what happened in the later seasons with them using potions instead to get everybody unless the writers unmade that obviously.

Hi Melinda! Could you clarify the last part? I have seen the final seasons, but only bits and pieces, so I would have a hard time understanding anything that happens in the last two seasons... P.S. Just watched the "a wrong day's journey into right" and the Charmed ones are back at it again....using magic for personal gain....except this time it was the one character who i still liked - Paige. When i saw that she used a spell to make "Mr. Right" I felt for sure that Charmed must have goofed and produced this episode earlier in the season and it was not intended to air after the very episode which warns them about using powers for personal gain, but no, Pheobe's active powers are gone so this was clearly done intentionally. I don't know what to say. Why would Paige do that? We just had an episode with a hot guy being conjured, and now 5 episodes later we are back at it again? I'm a completionist, so I'm determined to finish Charmed, but i feel like a Marathon runner (very apt analogy lol) who is hitting the wall with 5 miles to go, thankfully i'm watching with a friend (who is providing encouragement) and hopefully we can get through to finish of season 6 as soon as possible and then hope season 7 pumps some life into this show. |
