I've seen this show before which is being re-run where I live at the moment actually and did remind me of Charmed slightly concerning the supernatural elements in it. I'm sure Grimm although I've never seen it could be referenced to Charmed also. That's a good one! Another good one is Witches of Eastend, although sadly it was axed after only two seasons. However, they are good two seasons and worth a watch, especially if you aren't looking for something long. The reboot of The Worst Witch is fun, although it's meant for a young audience, it's still cute.

Xena Warrior Princess as far as campy storylines and corny effects go. Plus, the whole Ares/Xena love plot reminds me of Cole and Phoebe at times (or maybe what I wanted Phoebe and Cole to be?)

And considering Xena had Greek Gods in it also it reminded me of 'Oh My Goddess' 1 and 2 though Xena and Hercules's depiction of the deities was so much better than Charmed's roles of the Titans.

I'mma go a different route and say "Gotham". It still displays a little bit of a family dynamic but way more dysfunctional and not actually blood-related. There's still a sense of "protecting the innocent" but in a more morally grey kind of way, where the end justifies the means. At the end of the day, most of Gothamites love the city and want to help preserve it, in whatever means that's fitting, for them. Like Charmed, starts off pretty realistically then just diverts off into crazy sci-fi nonsense. And, what you think is the end isn't really. A lot of pulling of our necks LOL
