I always wondered that what would Prue would say to both season 8 Piper & Phoebe if she meet them?
Not only their attitude had completely changed, in terms of their attitude towards magic and becoming witches, to their attitude towards their life. Prue seems to always know what her sisters were thinking and then guiding them to the right path.
So what do you guys think?

I always wondered that what would Prue would say to both season 8 Piper & Phoebe if she meet them? Prue seems to always know what her sisters were thinking and then guiding them to the right path. So what do you guys think? I have a hunch she wouldn't be pleased and give them whatfor. The funny thing is I wonder if Piper and Phoebe would even listen to her. They were so sure that what they were doing was the right way of doing it, I doubt that they would. Poor Prue. She'd be so disappointed in them and be so frustrated that she couldn't do anything to change them back to the sisters she loved rather than these strangers in their bodies. The funny thing is that if S1 Piper or S1 Phoebe were the ones to visit, I think that they'd feel the same way and have just as much success in talking them into changing back. S1 Piper would be horrified by how selfish and self-centered she'd become and Phoebe would regret ever finding the Book of Shadows. |

I could wish that it would happen something like it does in PiperCharmedPhreak's fantastically wonderful 'Forever Charmed' rewrite "Blessed Be". In hers, rather than Piper using Coop's ring to find Patty and Grams, she uses it to find the one she'd *really* want to help her - Prue. And the way Piper brought Patty and Grams to her present, PCP's Piper bring Past Prue to her present. After an emotional reunion between Prue and Victor and Prue getting to see her nephews, this happens: Paige and Phoebe stood at the foot of the Book. “Haven’t we already looked through this thing a hundred times?” Phoebe pushed the issue. “ If we didn’t find something to stop them before, there’s nothing in there now.” “I’m not giving up that easy. Maybe we missed something before…I’m just trying to come up with something, anything.” Piper and Prue rushed into the attic. “We were right. They used Wyatt to get the Hollow.” Piper sounded furious. “Sweetie. I know you’re angry, but right now we need to focus. And Dad is taking great care of the boys. They’re safe. The sooner we get rid of the demons that used them; they’ll be even safer.” Prue turned to Phoebe and Paige, a clear signal that she was ready to get down to the business of vanquishing. “Have you two come up with a plan?” Prue noticed Paige winced when she said the word ‘demons’. Prue glanced towards the girl she thought was just a close friend, an innocent-Paige. “Did I say something wrong?” Paige shrugged, “ I don’t know. I guess it’s just the word ‘demons’. It kinda hits hard.” “Isn’t that what they are… Billie and Christy- demons. Not to mention that other guy Piper mentioned and the Triad.” Phoebe jumped in to explain, “Well, Billie and Christy aren’t exactly demons.” “Warlocks?” Both Phoebe and Paige shook their heads, giving Prue a response that screamed no. “Wait a minute. You’re telling me that we are about to vanquish, VANQUISH humans? You know that qualifies as murder don’t you?” Prue began to rant. She stood in disbelief, shock, and anger that her sisters would allow this to happen. “What are they then?” “Witches. Half-witches to be exact. Half-human.” Phoebe explained. The tone of her voice trickled with the guilt of knowing her sister was right. They couldn’t murder. Even if the Jenkins had been after them, they couldn’t vanquish them. It would be wrong. Wrong things done for the right reason, were still wrong. “Exactly like us.” Prue whispered. She thought about Patty and Victor. Then about Patty and Sam. Something clicked in her mind about Paige. Though her eyes lit up, she didn’t say anything. She had to deal with other pressing issues. It was Piper’s turn to talk. “Making them the Ultimate Innocents, not the Ultimate Evil.” If only this is what had happened... But I truly wonder if S8 Piper and S8 Phoebe would've truly reacted this way... |

Myself personally I think season 1 Prue or season 2 even would be quite shocked really seeing how different her sister's lives have changed in the 6-7 years between them.
She'd be a mixture of upset, frustrated and angry at how little they've come to stop caring about innocents and only fight demons or save people when they want to and not when they should do if Phoebe got a premonition.
Prue wouldn't like how the girls have done the wrong things for the right reasons in certain situations and would be, little them for that reminding them of their Charmed duties.
She'd hate how self-absorbed Piper's become putting her family above the world, how rotten Leo's being treated after giving up his Elder powers becoming human and how whiny and self-complaining she is from the shy nervous girl Piper used to be.
Phoebe would be moaned at for what happened to Cole and not owning up to past mistakes plus all those men she's using for her baby quest thing.
And Paige even though Prue doesn't know her would be shorted out for quitting her social worker job and not standing up to the Elders more about whether she wants to be a full-time white lighter or not then.
Prue's sisters may not well listen with Piper retaliating how little she knows them now citing what hardships they've endured and how they've had to change to protect their family which Prue would understand but say she wouldn't let it define her or change who she was or what she did that being a sister first and then a protector of the innocent second.

See that's the thing, I don't think Prue would have worked in season 8, it would have been awesome for her to have come back, but Piper and Phoebe had become so irredeemable by that point that I don't think even she could have fixed it, no, imo, better for Prue to have died and remember her sisters the way they were when she was alive.

You are so very right about that. That's why I love fanfics - where they *can* be redeemable, just like Billie and Christy can. Even official fanfics like the comics, since Piper and Phoebe had both been redeemed before Season 9 started.
I could almost wish that Prue had stayed lost during "Armageddon Not" so she could remember Phoebs before she met Cole.

See that's the thing, I don't think Prue would have worked in season 8, it would have been awesome for her to have come back, but Piper and Phoebe had become so irredeemable by that point that I don't think even she could have fixed it, no, imo, better for Prue to have died and remember her sisters the way they were when she was alive. We have to be thankful that Shannen declined to return for the series final, if what she said at the conventions is truth and she didn't like the script. I much rather see a fanfic story handle her return than the canon we got, but only if things get changed. You cannot undo season 5-8 with Prue returning to fix things. They were so far gone, even Prue couldn't fix things at the last minute. |

Agree with all.
Somehow i think at the point of season 8 Piper and Phoebe they are already too stubborn to listen to Prue. Both of them using their hardships they endure as an excuse to escape their responsibility as witches. I just wanted to point out, that Prue:
1. Carries the emotional loss of Patty for at least 30 years.
2. She have to let Andy dies to get them out of time loop. Due to the situation they cant save him. Although she gets upset at the first of season 2, but she quickly get over it and continue to protect innocents.
3. She also tries to find love like Phoebe, wanted to become a mother.
4. Her own emotional burden of become a leader of her family, so much to the point of subconsciously using her powers to escape.
All of which both Piper and Phoebe has the same, but she gets over it quickly and stronger than ever. Thats what i like about Prue.
Piper and Phoebe? Well, you see how their attitudes already answers the question.

Season 3 Prue may've leaned somewhat towards season 8 Piper and Phoebe being how she became a demon hunter almost going after most evil things then in a sense and how her personality and attidude changed also.

I feel as though Prue only went full-on demon hunter mode because she wanted to get their "destiny" over with and try to win back some sort of normal life with her sisters.

And that was all in Season Three - Kern's version of her. I'm *so* glad he didn't get a hold of her in S4-8. I'm sure he would've ruined her the same way he ruined Piper and Phoebe. You could already see her turning into Superwitch near the end of S3. What Kern turned Piper into...I'm sure he would've turned Prue into - especially if Phoebe or Piper was the one who died.
As I say in my signature - she was *so* lucky to die when she did!

Prue to Phoebe: " When did being finding Mr.Right so he can knock you up with a baby become more important than saving innocents or magic? You remember magic Pheebs. You spent so much time in the beginning of us becoming Charmed to get both Piper and me to realize that we loved being witches however you lost sight of what was important to you.
Prue to Piper: Where is the lovable yet snarky little sister who was my best friend disappear to? Who knew that she would become this cranky heartless woman that I'm seeing right in front of me today. After my death, you wanted to give up your powers so you can be happy with Leo but you didn't and in that span of time, you let your business fail.
TO Both: Yes we are the charmed ones but most importantly we were sisters we had our ups and our downs. Hell, we could write the book on family dysfunction. But remember when after we kicked some demon ass we would go out and celebrate or stay in and catch up. We all lost sight of being sisters that were witches and it became into witches that were also sisters. I'm ashamed of you both.
This was a interesting thing to do.

Unpopular opinion: I don't think she would scold her sisters for turning their backs against magic. Watching how she behaves in S1-S2, Prue doesn't seem all that into magic as Phoebe was (back in S1-S2). It wasn't until S3, when Prue became this random superwitch while still having some compassion towards Piper's selfish wants and needs and didn't even try to correct Piper's actions in wanting to marry Leo, the way S3 Phoebe did. So, I think Prue wouldn't have scolded them as much as this board think she would. She might help steer them in the right direction, though. And, I agree with adzpower . Prue would totally get along with Paige! Prue's first instinct wouldn't be to kill Billie & Christy, the way Piper's first instinct was.

Unpopular opinion here too but I think she would understand. She knows how tough life can be with being witches and wanting to give that up so I feel she would understand. I feel like Prue would understand Piper's needs though, she always has even as early as season 2 when Piper was complaining about being a witch and how she quit and all.

I think she would be proud of Phoebe to be honest. Holding down a job and contributing to the manor. Bringing Paige into the fold. And having the courage to vanquish Cole. But she would say "I told you so". She'd empathize with Phoebe not being able to find love because of the sacrifices she's had to make.
