Piper and Phoebe were able to uderstand people, Piper was more patient and quiet, but I agree, they were the sweet sisters If you're talking the first couple seasons, then Piper and Phoebe were the sweet sisters. Starting in Season Three, they were anything but. Kern didn't know how to do sweet, just sappy.

I meant that Piper and Phoebe's personality is the typical of the good girl, without whims Prue, instead, has a demanding personality, she wants a lot from life Paige has a troubled personality, she wished a lot of thing, to travel, to paint, to sing It is the reason why I judge Piper and Phoebe more fit to have children
Also in the last seasons, Piper and Phoebe are two quiet women Piper was forced to take on a role not fit for her and, like all shy people, she tried to hire authoritarian ways but she was always the same old Piper who reveals her love cooking Phoebe got from her beloved magic the worst blow - a lost sister, a lost child, an impossible love, dead friends- and clings on her studies as a last chance to do something good
Both take care with love of Billie, they are generous: who will take home a turbulent twenties? Leo'ld train her even if she was at her house, Billie'ld help in any case
Piper'll come to cook for Billie parents, to host Christy, to sew clothes, Phoebe'll turn herself into a bon ton teacher for Christy Had they a duty to do all this? No, they were only good people

I know how you feel that it was not their obligation to but Prue and Paige usually were the ones to help the innocent when the others didn't want to or felt they did not have time.

Piper didn't want to break the Power of Three, but she'ld prefer don't be a witch Phoebe tried to escape the magic, after her Queen of Underworld period, and to help people through her work and hisher studies But none of them has never refused help when an innocent was in danger!

Yes, that is true Piper or Phoebe never refused an innocent help in the earlier seasons when they needed it if Phoebe got a premonition or someone came to them like Mark say but later on when that happened Piper would seem to moan about it frequently saying, "Do I have to really?" "I can't leave Wyatt or Chris." "I need to see the band booked for the club." or finally. "How am I suppose to have a normal life when magic gets in the way." just to name a few examples obviously. And then Phoebe with her baby quest didn't help either when she would try finding baby daddy instead of focusing on who needed help obviously.
Of course Phoebe got less frequent premonitions then and the show revolved around Wyatt and Chris a lot whom the sisters would save if it was family and you had storylines like the Avatars instead of innocent of the week which even when they came into play the sisters helped only when they wanted to when it suited them it seems which to me if you agree to keep your powers and continue on giving up the offer to be normal even though your sisters who happen to be witches you should honour your decision and not be allowed to moan every time a situation arises.

I know how you feel that it was not their obligation to but Prue and Paige usually were the ones to help the innocent when the others didn't want to or felt they did not have time. The reason Prue and Paige seemed to always be helping the innocents is because they having nothing else to do. Phoebe has a career to keep her busy. Piper not only has two kids but her own business to run. After quitting their jobs, besides photo assignments and temp jobs, the only thing to left to fill up Prue and Paige's time is helping innocents. And quite honestly, if Piper and Phoebe weren't working and only doing odd jobs like Paige so they could focus on helping innocents, they would be either end up living in a crammed apartment or their house would be a dump after the constant demon attacks and not having money to repair it. Their children would resent them for being away all the time and without enough money, they would definitely start using magic for personal gain to fulfill their needs like a nice house or a fancy meal. So shockingly, being selfish wasn't necessary a bad thing

You make a hit, cyma! Paige moved to an old house expensive to maintain and left her job to become a better witch, leaving the burden of the bills to pay and her maintenance to her sisters In addition Piper had to manage a family, the children are uneconomics If someone can be called selfish, that's Paige that to follow her desires to devote herself to magic, financially penalized her sisters

Paige had to sort of quit her job. If she didn't she may have eventually gotten fired. She wasn't dedicating as much time to her job as she needed to and it was showing in her sporadic attendance. Piper had to keep pulling Paige from work or preventing her from going into work in time or at all on some days and Paige's boss was noticing her continued absences and lateness. Prue had the same issue at bucklands. Phoebe could write her column from anywhere and didn't always have to be physically in the office so it worked for her. Piper owned her business so she had people working for her. Remember how hard it was for her when she worked at quake and how tough her boss used to be on her. "Don't show up today then don't come back" I remember he said once to her.

If Paige had stayed in social working and took the promotion season 5 she would've had flexible hours it was said alleviating why she left quite often and Piper owned P3 so she had people working for her anyway including a manager who oversaw things when she wasn't there meaning she didn't need to be there all the time except opening hours unless she had to really.
