So hard. I love so many of her episodes, maybe after watching more of Charmed in the board re-watch, I can make up my mind better later. I'm with you Jean. I'll wait until we finish our S2 re-watch, and then I'll for sure have a better idea which one I love, at least for the first two seasons. That Seventies Episode would for sure be now. Can't wait to keep our re-watch going to decide on the rest.

Witch Is Back - best They're Everywhere That 70s Episode - 2nd best All Halliwells Eve
Were Sheryl Anderson and Connie friends or connected
Did Sheryl work with Shannen or other cast members before?
Must have been hard to write after Sleuthing with the Enemy 'Jump the Shark' moment which is why Wrestling with Demons and The Demon Who Came In From The Cold are crap - but not completely crap episodes. Those episodes are considered to be some of the worst of Season 3 too!
The early Constant M. Burge methodology was great

Burge methodology was great Sheryl and Connie did quite a few episodes together, so maybe they were, or just bonded and found common interests being the select few females in the writers room at the time. I still find it interesting that Sheryl left after S3, right when Shannen was fired, same with Chris and Zach. But, with what we learned about Kern years later for how he treated female writers and some of the Charmed writers came forward (I can't remember if Sheryl or the others were contacted to speak), maybe they quit after Shannen was fired in protest or something, or Kern got rid of them. Now, if what happened to Kern in recent years, had happened 20 years ago and he got fired, I'd be down for a series with Connie and Sheryl as executive producers, with both writing the opening and closing episodes of the season, especially if Connie wrote the story, and Sheryl wrote the teleplay. I guess I could have fun picking my Dream Charmed fantasy writers room, with who I'd want to have had on board for the whole run. Rebooted, I'm with you, The early mythology was great. Especially if they let Warlocks remain the counterparts to witches throughout the series, and the Source never was part of it, or if he was, he was actually a warlock not a demon.

The Witch is Back Secrets and Guys That Seventies Episode All Halliwells Eve Changed my vote from Secrets and Guys to They're Everywhere. Choosing just four actual Sheryl episodes.

I'm surprised "The Demon Who Came in From the Cold" isn't getting more love. Probably one of my all time favourite episodes!

I loved the episodes Sheryl wrote with Phoebe, and I like nearly all of her episodes.
Anybody know if she was fired after S3, or left on her own because Connie and Shannen were gone?

I voted for: The Witch is Back, That '70s episode, Apocalypse Not and All Hallow's Eve. It was pretty tough, however, because I love adore most of these episodes, which makes it harder to choose my absolute favourites. I was tempted to not vote for Apocalypse Not, and choose They're Everywhere, but in my recent rewatch, Apocalypse Not has become a firm favourite for me, so I couldn't not choose it.

Re-watching Sheryl's amazing episode 'All Halliwell's Eve' tonight on Halloween. I still love it to bits. Might be her best episode.
But, so tough, as I love all her episodes. So nice that she was the only writer to flesh out the backstory on Melinda Warren and the past in both 'Witch is Back' and 'All Halliwell's Eve'. In our re-watch, it was pointed out by Es that Ava reminded her of Melinda, and a few others thought the same thing.

I'm going with Wicca Envy and That '70s episode. Wrestling with Demons is the worst, followed by Ms. Hellfire

All Halliwell's Eve, That 70s Episode, They're Everywhere and Give Me a Sign. Having re-watched these now in our rewatches and done S3 last year. My choices haven't changed. But GMAS can be switched with TWIB.

The 4 I chose (in, no particular order): The Witch is Back Wicca Envy They're Everywhere Give Me a Sign I've definitely changed my mind since then. Mostly, I swapped out "Wicca Envy" for "All Halliwell's Eve". So, my new list is the following: S1E9 "The Witch is Back" S2E7 "They're Everywhere" S2E15 "Give Me a Sign" S3E4 "All Halliwell's Eve"

I'm surprised Ms. Hellfire didn't get more votes!
The episode was entirely impressive. Prue gains a long awaited power that Connie was excited to implement and had been hinting at for an entire season, even during behind-the-scene interviews!
The sister's face a challenge that's mortal and not demonic. They wonder if they crossed the line between vanquishing and murdering. Not to mention, Darryl finds out the sister's secret that's been hidden for an entire year!
Then, need not mentioning, but BARBAS! One of the best, most iconic, and consistent demons on the show makes a return! He utilizes a different technique to destroy the sisters, by turning Prue on the others.
We also learn of Witch practitioners, which gives Charmed a more relatable world-build, by allowing acceptance of people who believe they're witches but may lack the actual power.
-- That being said: This was one of my choices, but not my top --
I absolutely love Sherly J Anderson as a person and a writer. She understood the core of the show and helped convey Connie's ideas into perpetual dialogue. It's no surprise that she's written all of the episodes that focus on family, generational magic, and past lore that helps build the foundation of magic that's Charmed.
The Witch Is Back has to be my top episode. The dip into the past by bringing a trapped immortal, powerful warlock to reclaim magic that he stole from his past lover who also happens to be in the same time as him. It's like an anti-climatic lovers-to-enemies reunited, all rolled into one supernatural episode! Beautifully written, and the lore is built perfectly from the literature.
That 70's Episode closely follows, as this is the episode that we find out that not are born-witches magical from childhood, but the sister's magic was bound because of an immortal warlock who nearly gets what he came after. It's finally explained that the girls were supposed to be raised as witches, but lost their powers due to a pact that wasn't fulfilled because Mom and Grams both died before they could tell the girls everything they needed to be prepared for. I love the writing, the magic, the familial aspect of it all, everything.
Then, All Halliwell's Eve is the final top three. The girls are sent back to the past, and we find out that they may have been the reason why Melinda created the prophecy, because she was told stories of the powerful three sister's who came to help bring her into the world. I love the writing, I love the small romance between Prue and Micah, and Mitch- which I wish was further explored. I love the small interludes between Phoebe and Cole in the past, I love the magic, the 1690's teachings, and even the bromance that's built between Leo and Darryl!
Overall, again, I love that Sheryl wrote the episodes that revolved around family, magic and the past.

I'm surprised Ms. Hellfire didn't get more votes! It's an honorable mention, for me. I just don't like the revival of Barbas 'cause his return breaks the established lore of S1E13 "From Fear to Eternity".
