What was more important to you on Charmed?

Yep, they are what defines Charmed the most to me.

The sisterhood is what drew me to the show and if they were friends and just strangers. Then it wouldn't be as fun or worse. I may not have liked it to keep watching.

I've heard that originally it was supposed to be about three college friends who discover they're witches. I still would've watched if Holly and Alyssa were still part of it, since they're what originally drew me to Charmed, but I wonder if I would've kept watching - it was so much that feeling of family that you got from Shannen, Holly and Alyssa that I enjoyed, especially the way Prue and Phoebe's relationship changed and grew. I don't think you could have something like that with college friends. I'm so glad Connie decided to base it on her and her sisters.

I grew up with my younger sister and a cousin who was in between us.

And the family dynamic between Prue, Piper and Phoebe was just so believable. It even worked well with how Phoebe was a little on the outside as the rebel while Prue and Piper, naturally as best friends and a little more similar looking at the beginning came off as real-life sisters.

With whatever 2 sister combo between Prue, Piper and Phoebe, you could really see and feel as though they were real sisters.

It's what I loved about the show and with my cousin and my sister, I related to the show a lot.

I liked that they had real jobs and lives unlike other shows where being a demon fighter was all they did and they either didn't have a job or it's not important.





Sisters who happen to be witches not witches who happen to be sisters.

Elle Em, this is exactly how I voted myself. I don't care for the demons and powers, that was the least important to me to appreciate, even if It was fun to watch the many cool spells they came up with, I'm more interested in the sisters and relating to them, and also their personal lives more.
