If you've written one of the press releases that describes an episode, quote this post and find it in this list, then edit this post to show who you would like to say wrote your episode. Remember it has to be someone who has actually written for television and it can't be a Buffy writer, a Supernatural writer or a Hercules/Xena writer, but anyone else is fair game. If you don't know any current writers, consider the ones we've been highlighting - Sheryl J. Anderson (The Witch is Back, That Seventies Episode, All Halliwell's Eve, etc.), Paul Ruditis (the comics' Season 9) and the team of Chris Levinson and Zach Estrin (Morality Bites, Chick Flick, Pre-Witched, etc.) You can use the press release I wrote, Season One, Episode 2 as an example. I've also included all of episodes that haven't received a press release yet. If you decide to write one, go ahead and quote this post and edit this list to include your Charmed name (your screen name and last name), your title and your writer, and it will be part of the next update. If more than one person grabs the same episode number, I'll use the one that's posted first. If someone comes up with an idea and then someone else wrote a press release using that idea, and then a third someone edited that release, it's the person who wrote the first actual press release who will get to choose the writers. EDIT: I have to publicly thank Summer Reading for privately sending me this entire listing. Great job Es putting this together! I love the format, and so much easier to look at our show come to life.
I might wait for a little until others check to see if anything needs correcting before I jump and assign my writers.

I absolutely love this set-up dear. So nice to be able to see the whole EC series, and look at all the amazing work put in, and all the talented press release writers.

Sounds good, Sasha. Funny, when I saw Ghost Whisperer, I immediately thought of Jeannine Renshaw who wrote for both Charmed and Ghost Whisperer - she was an executive producer for GW. She's also one of those who told about how much of a male chauvinist pig Brad Kern was, which might be why she ended up writing for a lot of episodes of Charmed that I don't like, but a lot of Ghost Whisperer episodes that I did like. I always wondered if she helped choose the name of Melinda Gordon - in my head canon, she's Piper's daughter who married Jim, Neighbor Dan's son!
But she didn't write for Party of Five, so if both of those shows Catherine's episodes in those shows made you think of Charmed, and specifically your Christmas episode, good job!
Pheebs and Summer, I love your choices so far - I can so see Connie giving those episodes to those writers and them enjoying writing them.
Looking forward to see who other press-release-writers choose for their episodes.

Remember it has to be someone who has actually written for television and it can't be a Buffy writer, a Supernatural writer or a Hercules/Xena writer, but anyone else is fair game. If you don't know any current writers, consider the ones we've been highlighting - Sheryl J. Anderson (The Witch is Back, That Seventies Episode, All Halliwell's Eve, etc.), Paul Ruditis (the comics' Season 9) and the team of Chris Levinson and Zach Estrin (Morality Bites, Chick Flick, Pre-Witched, etc.) You can use the press release I wrote, Season One, Episode 2 as an example. I've also included all of episodes that haven't received a press release yet. If you decide to write one, go ahead and quote this post and edit this list to include your Charmed name (your screen name and last name), your title and your writer, and it will be part of the next update. If more than one person grabs the same episode number, I'll use the one that's posted first. EDIT: I have to publicly thank Summer Reading for privately sending me a number of corrections. So many members have edited someone else's press release, that I admit I lost track over who first came up with the idea, and that's the person who should get the fun of choosing their writer. If anyone else notices any of these types of errors, please PM me. Thanks! EDIT #2: Oh, man! I really was tired yesterday. In the brainstorming thread, I said that the person who wrote the first press release would get to choose the writer; here I say it's the person who first came up with the idea. That's fine. I'm not the best with titles. Good title. Look at S1. We're nearly done. I know! I'm so excited!! And actually if those press-release writers who had theirs in S3 and that I moved to S4 would agree to let me move THEIR standalones to S1, we'd only have one left! That is a great idea Es! I think we can do that, and FINALLY, achieve our goal for one finished season. I'm sure those may need a little editing to fit. But looking at it, Especially 'Past Imperfect' I suggest moving it to S2, so we don't have two episodes focusing on Warren's ancestors in S1, and personally I think it flows better to come after 'The Life and Death of Mary Ann Warren' as the first one showing us the past and history. I actually think we should move The Issac Flower from S2 to S1 instead, and it will fit perfectly well in Spring sometime in April, and put Past Imperfect in its place, or just in S2 somewhere. But that's just a suggestion? But I'll leave it to the press-release writers to make that decision. |

What about the rest of you? I really think it should be up to all of us to make this as smooth as possible, not just the writers.
If enough members agree with Prudence, I'll switch them.

Count me in with those changes that Prudence suggested. Your right Ruth, I think we will have finished S1 now. We have four slots to fill including the two new press releases to be added and the two moved ones.
I'm so excited that we will have one season filled up now. Of course, we might find we do more moving around in the future with episodes working better in another season.

Yep, check out the first post - we have ourselves a full Season One! I'm SO happy and excited about that!
Best of all, since this is still in the brainstorming stage (and until we actually finish, we always will be - part of the fun of doing it virtually and just for us), if we later discover one of our newer episodes would fit S1 better, we can always switch it, like we did with 'A Warren Family Feud' and 'Reflections of the Dark Kind' because each fit that spot better.
