An alternate series with parallel episodes that could be interesting. With the original Power of Three, with Phoebe dead in Season 4 instead of Prue. Why not for fun a pilot episode bad bad bad bad bad world! 🤣
or during season 1 to 3 I really want an episode between 3x22 and 4x01

This might be a better way to bring Charmed back than a live action mini series or movies or series of films. The cast can all agree to appear, since they don't need to be in the same room to record voices. I think an alternate season 4 with the original Power of Three would be my dream scenario. |

I don't think they ever stopped being friends. Just probably don't publicize themselves, that much, anymore.

Holly even had to defend herself on social media, she said she doesn't need to use social media to talk to someone she's known for 20 years. Shannen was dealing with her cancer treatment, Holly was busy getting married to her new husband and been planning her big move out of LA. So they might've not hung out as much in person (but still were friends and talked via phone or zoom/Skype).

Friendships are definitely complex, especially ones that last for 20 years. I am sure they have had their ebb and flow of being close, drifting away, etc just like all normal friendships. To be honest though it never made total sense to me that they were such good friends. I can't really put my finger on why. It seems to me that Shannen's friendship with Sarah Michelle Gellar seems to make more sense to me - both republican, but similar vibes. But I guess opposites attract! |

It seems to me that Shannen's friendship with Sarah Michelle Gellar seems to make more sense to me - both republican, but similar vibes. But I guess opposites attract! I don't really find Shannen nor Holly being all that "different" from each other. I mean, I think Rose is WAY more "liberal" than Alyssa, yet Rose and Shannen get along, as well. Unless, you want to include their "distaste" for Alyssa as "common ground", but I doubt it. Even so, Shannen seems to be the only one to defend the Reboot, whereas BOTH Rose AND Holly have been publicly critical of the Reboot. I remember reading some article (I'll have to find it, later) where Shannen holds ALL of Hollywood accountable, when it pertains to her being Republican. Shannen is VERY much aware that her Republican stance is very rare, in the Hollywood industry. But, she said that shouldn't divide her companionship with the overwhelming Democratic Hollywood population. And, Rose USED to identify as a "Democrat" but has since condemn them, but she's still HESITANT about calling herself "Republican". So, I'll have to find that article, where Shannen does NOT condemn her Democratic peers. |

I just meant a lot of folks regardless of political stance tend to run in like minded circles. I am not American so I don't fully understand the dynamic. Of course there is room for discourse and most folks don't agree with 100% of any parties or other individuals beliefs. I know Shannen cares a lot about the environment and the oceans which is definitely a more liberal leaning view (think Bernie Sanders). I didn't say Holly and Shannen weren't friends because of their political views/affiliations. I just said in my mind I really see SMG and Shannen being friends. I don't think Rose will ever call herself anything again. She is very anti-establishment (always has been as far as I am concerned) and has her own unique view on things due to her experiences in life which include traumatic ones. |

I'm not American but I don't understand how politics can divide people to the point both sides condemn the other as being evil. It should be both sides coming together to make a difference in the world than petty fights over who is right or wrong. But back to Shannen and Holly. They have a great friendship. I saw an episode of their travel show on Youtube (I think the entire series is on there now), and I love their friendship chemistry. They really do bring out the best in both. Shannen and Rose have bonded so quickly. Like you, I don't think its based on their dislike of Alyssa. And both had met a few years before Charmed filming a movie together, and have run into each other. They had a somewhat connection already, that has only grown more and got them closer this year. It's beautiful. I haven't seen that article about Shannen. Please do share it when you find it. |
