My first thread created and poll at the Cafe.  What were your favorite post opening credits songs that were used during Season 1. I've posted all the Youtube videos here to help you make your mind on which ones you loved hearing during the post-credit intro with establishing shots of San Francisco. I had fun looking for Charmed related music videos to all the songs used. I was lucky with some, but not so lucky with others. I'm giving everyone a choice of up to ten songs. Since every episode but the first episode had one, I'm sure it will be difficult to pick just one. Enjoy!

Firstly The Crone congratulations on your first thread and poll. I love that you tried looking for music videos with Charmed clips for most of those songs. During our re-watch of S1, the show sure had so many good songs and I know most of our re-watchers loved so many of them. I'll have to get back to you when I come up with my picks. I just know so far these five stand out: I've Got You Under My Skin Torn - Natalie Imbruglia Wicca Envy She's So High - Tal Bachman That '70s Episode Never Can Say Goodbye - Gloria Gaynor Love Hurts Human - The Pretenders Déjà Vu All Over Again Animal Instinct - The Cranberries If I can't think of any more, I'll just go with those five. |

I love listening to Natalie Imbruglia, my mother attended the same school as her, it's always interesting knowing that my mother knew her before she was famous, even though they weren't friends, due to being in different grades.

Yes I am, I only live only 25 minutes away from were my mother lived as a child, my mother said that there isn't any stories to report when it comes towards Natalie meaning that she, Natalie, wasn't involved in any drama or issues but she did say that she was kind. |

I like "She's So High" as an intro while Prue is getting ready. It's such a nice song that fits so well into this era, and I like how it featured Prue doing something so simple and relatable while still making it interesting.
I also like the Eve 6 song because it's the type of music from this era that I would want to listen to the most. It's an older song by now that perhaps not a lot of younger people would know of, but it's got a young sound to it, which reminds me of just how young the sisters are here, and how new they are to magic as well.

I picked "Down So Long" by Jewel. I love this song and it's placement.
The bad thing about watching Charmed on streaming is the music is changed. I currently watch it on paramount plus - I have all of the seasons but I don't have a DVD player anymore.

I picked "Down So Long" by Jewel. I love this song and it's placement. The bad thing about watching Charmed on streaming is the music is changed. I currently watch it on paramount plus - I have all of the seasons but I don't have a DVD player anymore. That's so horrible they removed all the original music. Someone was telling me that so many shows on streaming are like that and or they edit parts out because of music rights. Another reason, I'm so glad I have my DVD's and can watch it unedited and with the original music. Forbuss (I'm not tech savvy enough so I might be wrong about this) but couldn't you play the DVDs on your disc drive on a computer? |

Forbuss (I'm not tech savvy enough so I might be wrong about this) but couldn't you play the DVDs on your disc drive on a computer? Sadly my computer doesn't have a disc drive  PLUS my mom has all of our DVDs - they really belong to both of us. However, this site is pretty good if you need a place to stream it: watchcharmedonline.com/I love the feature on this site where you can clikc "random episode" and it will just give you one. Highly recommend (please have a popup blocker if you use this site). |
