Paige going full on Whitelighter is something I downright hate. The writers have Paige wanting to get back to a more normal life so they have Leo take over Magic School only to straight up have Paige be forced into being a Whitelighter. The whole thing about Whitelighters is that...they dead. They lived their life. They did good. They were chosen to be rebirthed into this new life. Paige was born with some of the powers. She wasn't created by The Elders. She isnt dead. She hasnt lived her life. Pandoras Box is something that could've sustained an arc or half a season or maybe even a full season. Shame it was relegated to just 1 episode. Like most things in this show...I'm kind of surprised that Hope didn't come from a line of Pandora guardians. Some rando being chosen to protect it seems...random. It's so annoying how they keep going back and forth with it. I always hated when they gave her charges. I feel like her whitelighter life is something, she'd have when she dies and becomes a full whitelighter. I LOVED Little Box of Horrors. It was such a great episode. I liked the villain too, she was smart. It could have been a great arc to last a little longer than one episode, especially Pandoras Box. LOL, Hope would have made a better character to spin-off than Billie. |

The demon was definitely one of the better ones, especially since they rarely had female big bads, she would've made a good opponent. |

It's too bad, I really loved her working as a social worker. And sad they had her quit it. Especially with more flexible working hours. Yeah, they never did address the lack of Whitelighters taking on TCO as a new charge, didn't they. Yeah, I agree. I could get behind her, in S8 as a recurring character they mentor. Agreed, we so rarely had female villains, and she was just so great. The actress is great too, I believe she went on to star on another witch show Witches of East End, but not as a villain this time, but a witch. Makes me want to re-watch that episode again. Has been a while. |

Finally getting around to finishing S7...taken forever. Imaginary Friends is definitely a decent episode, it was actually fun having adult Wyatt around. I think he is much better in the acting department than Chris. But whew...we already know Wyatt is the all powerful but lordt! What are demons like in our present day? He can just wipe the room with them like it aint nothin! Charmed Ones who? I always felt it was a choice to not have the S6 finale involve TCO vs. Future evil Wyatt so at least we got to see some of it here. Wyatt thinks he's all that, that just because he's a Halliwell that the Book of Shadows will look past his being evil? Jokes on you Wyatt! I just wish the plot was a tiny bit stronger. Wyatt hands a demon a teddybear and it essentially corrupts him and turns him evil and all it takes is Wyatt to give the teddybear to Leo to break the "curse". Leo was also really stupid to hear commotion in the attic and leave his sons in the kitchen to see whats going on. Leo you know what is going on, you know the sisters likely have it under control. You know there's a demon after Wyatt and yet you leave him alone? Come on man... Also I will say in my headcanon "Wyatt is gay" which I love. Makes the powerful witch a tiny bit easier to swallow. But not a great outing for Paige. You know the importance of Whitelighters and yet your charges are calling you and you actively choose to ignore them? They could be dying for all you know. The demons though...lord. Talk about hitting another low point. They looked ridiculous, especially with the stupid sunglasses.  This bts pic also makes me laugh, its so random. Its like Rose/Brian are the couple  |

Death Becomes Them is another enjoyable episode leading to the finale. I just wish that they went one step further and brought back other actual innocents that TCO lost or that we recognized apart from Inspector Davidson.
Zankous plot to steal the Book of Shadows didn't make much sense though. The sisters questioning themselves shouldn't have made the magic surrounding the book THAT invulnerable to evil, or else they could've stolen it A LOT of times throughout the series. Paige doesnt even attempt to call for the book. There's also no reason for the book to not allow them to touch it. Why would the Po3 spell be the thing that gets back in touch with the BoS?
Piper mustering up the courage to "vanquish" their past zombified innocents, while played good by Holly...was one of those scenes where you ask yourself "Um..Piper..why didn't you just freeze the zombies?" She didn't even attempt to freeze them and the writers rarely have her freeze post S4.
Coming into Something Wicca This Way Goes, the whole Inspector Sheridan plot is a decent one but it wasn't played up the way it should've been. This should've been All Hell Breaks Loose Pt.2. Piper/Phoebe saying their possible last goodbyes to Victor was a good one but the intensity of everything going on wasn't brought to the level it should've been.
Potions....have become the bain of my rewatch existence. I HATE POTIONS! Zankou throwing a power stripping spell at Phoebes feet..SHOULD.NOT.HAVE.WORKED. You gotta drink the potion.
Darylls overall plot throughout the years has been a pretty good one and very bittersweet which makes it all the more better.
But there is zero reason why the Halliwells had to fake their deaths. I know this was originally intended as the series finale but even then the sisters plan is to have the whole world believe they are dead so they don't have to worry about cops and demons coming after them, so they can train the next generation....sorry girls but thats not what you signed up for when you CHOSE to keep your destiny as Charmed Ones in 4x22.

Starting the ever so WONDERFUL S8.....
The sisters faking their deaths, using cloaking spells, trying to walk away from being Charmed....screams being selfish and personal gain out the ass. They seem to forget that not only were they given the option to live a normal life back in 4x22 but that demons don't just stop killing people because TCO are dead, in fact they take advantage of the fact.
Victor should have had a much larger presence in the beginning of the season. The sisters may be posing as cousins but Victor owns the house, has custody of the children. It looks very SUS that he isnt living in the Manor and still living in an apartment/hotel. He should've been living in the actual manor.
The introduction of Billie....whew, such a cheesy and bad introduction. The outfit, the music, the slow motion..they tried to introduce their witch version of Buffy and it was just executed SO BADLY.
How were demons able to enter Magic School? And why was it so rundown? TCO may be dead but The Elders are not.

An entire episode of a blatant SaTC rip off with Phoebe narrating in her baby voice is....so tough to follow. They even bring in Samanthas own bf for the role.
Piper telling Phoebe she needs to get married and knocked up ASAP is just...why! Phoebe had a decent head to S7 and now they bring back boy crazy Phoebe.

Desperate Housewisewitches is a semi fun episode but...bringing back The Source for a one off though? was such an insult. Not only to who the Source is supposed to be but to us the viewers as well.
Phoebe really thinks that Dex knocking her up would be an acceptable thing when he doesnt even know who she is and she's wearing a glamour on top of it...Not to mention trying to intentionally get pregnant when she doesnt know if he would want the same thing...lord. Phoebe! Why!
