S1 is just classic and that iconic gothy vibe. 

S4 is just raw emotion episode after episode, dark but funny and like a reboot of the show for me

S3 the performances are epic, storylines are great, really strong episodes. Charmed has really matured by this point. 

S2 such a unique season. It doesnt really have a beginning middle and end. Its episodic but has an arc and has really strong individual episodes.

I think I found a way for S4 to surpass S3 with a unique collection of episodes, lemme explain:

- ALL THREE sisters were not only PRESENT at the final fight/vanquish but ACTUALLY contributed to the final fight/vanquish ie with their own personal powers/abilities, potions, spell casting, etc.

- ORIGINAL Warren powers is preferred but NOT a requirement, but I DID try my best to ensure ORIGINAL Warren powers were acknowledged.

- PO3 being acknowledged but NOT a requirement, but it is nice that a threat REQUIRES the PO3, really highlighting their legacy.

- This will NOT be an even list! The ONLY "even" contribution I applied was ensuring (at least) ONE episode, from EACH season was represented, to just have an episode from EVERY season, available.

- * indicates off-screen/other person using said power/presented differently but still counting

Season 3 and 4 are imo PEAK Charmed like everything from Honeymoons Over all the way through to Witch Way Now? Is 44 episodes of top tier writing, acting, directing, performing ...that era of the show it was on Buffy level ...literally excellence they hold the crown ....season 1 I love the gothic tone so much , it was still tongue in cheek but wouldn't hold back either ....it knew it's objective and it won I always love when I start the show binging from the beginning again because it just is so comforting to watch yet gothic too

Season 2 is chaotic the classic episodes are top tier yet the filler sometimes was just that ...and sadly it showed it a fair bit! Similar to Season 5 I feel it's sandwiches between seasons I adore ....like Season 2 is in-between 1 and 3/4 and 5 is after 4 and before 6 (I love season 6!) but overall is a great time so for me

4,3,1,2 but 4 and 3 are perfection

I'm not too terribly surprised by it because the Paige Era tends to forget all about the ORIGINAL Warren powers, as soon as the Paige Era begins. You'll only ever find S4 & S8 to be the best seasons to kind of remember it, otherwise S5-S7 tosses it out the window. That being said, S4 (tied with S3) is one of the most "PO3 Spells" chanted which is why it's listed pretty high, as well.

One thing I'll give S1 credit for over S2 is not only did it acknowledge the "PO3" theme, but the three of them did more together, as a group than S2 did. While, S2 may have had more episodes with ALL THREE sisters PRESENT, at the final fight/vanquish (more than S1), that doesn't necessarily mean ALL THREE of them CONTRIBUTED to the final fight/vanquish, though, that's where S1 surpasses S2, in that regard. Whenever, S1 HAD ALL THREE of them TOGETHER, it usually ends up with ALL THREE of them doing SOMETHING, instead of just standing there & cuddling with each other.

It's been more important, for me, that ALL THREE contribute to the final fight/vanquish, as ALL THREE of them are SUPPOSED to be working together, to do that. Though, S1 has more UNIQUE vanquishes where it's not always spells & potions as S3-S8 tends to offer.

In fact, I would even go as far as to say that S2 is one of the worst (NOT the worst, however) to have ALL THREE sisters contributing to the final fight/vanquish. What S2 IS good for (according to my check boxes I was looking for) is ORIGINAL Warren powers, that's about it. And, S2 really dropped the ball on acknowledging the "PO3" concept, and why we're focused on the Charmed Ones and not any other witches. The ONLY episodes to REALLY acknowledge the "PO3" theme are S2E1 "Witch Trial", S2E10 "Heartbreak City" & S2E22 "Be Careful What You Witch For". ALL the other threats can easily be vanquished by any other witch & it shows that with the lack of needing ALL THREE of them to contribute to the final fight/vanquish. S1 isn't that great either, in highlighting the "PO3" theme/concept, HOWEVER (unlike S2) still had ALL THREE sisters contributing (in some way) to the final fights/vanquishes, in a good amount of episodes.

That being said, S7 is actually the WORST, when it comes to highlighting BOTH the "PO3" concept AND ORIGINAL Warren powers. Unlike S2, S7 went out of its way to ensure that it didn't have ALL THREE sisters present, in some final fights/vanquishes. It's crazy. S5 is equally up there with NOT highlighting the "PO3" concept, either. S2, S5 & S7 are just not great seasons when it comes to highlighting what I'm looking for. Though, S2 beats out S5 & S7 due to it utilizing the ORIGINAL Warren powers.

It's really a battle between S1, S3, S4 & S6, which IK not too many like S6, but S6 does a BETTER job in highlighting the "PO3" concept MORE than S1, TBH. But where S6 drops the ball is highlighting ORIGINAL Warren powers which is where S1 shines. S3 & S4 are fairly equal in terms of highlighting the "PO3" concept, though S3 outshines S4 in terms of ORGINAL Warren powers.

Again, it ALL depends on what you're looking for xD

Unfortunately, I moved S4 down, again. I compared every single season with each other. And, S4 didn't too well, unfortunately. So, it's in 4th place, again. It definitely beats out the S5-S8 bracket, though.

Mine is 1 - 3 - 2 - 4. Season 3 still had some charm from s1 but s1 is most superior.
