It's nice to see how close the cast is. I liked when Drew mentioned on the podcast he wants to take Shannen dancing when tjey do a con together next. And Holly I think said Brian danced with her at the last con they did. I love that Shannen and Holly are friends again or getting closer again through these cons again. They follow each other on Instagram again since then. Time must heal. Seeing them get emotional about Shannen leaving Charmed on the latest Paris con when Holly was near tears at the panel touched me. does anyone have a link to this moment?

They're Everywhere got a 9.5 rating.
I didn't listen to the whole podcast but they are really getting into it now - and they are enjoying watching the episodes.
It is nice to hear HMC talk about how at this point in the show - they are at their sweet spot and everybody is getting along with each other.
Gave me nostolgia thinking about 1999 and there being a general good feeling and optimism going into the new millennium. Oh how that was a long time ago.

Omg Lochlyn Munro aka Jack Sheridan - Prue's Season 2 love interest... ...tried or was asked to audition for Andy Trudeau
He was shooting Scary Movie when he was asked to audition for the role.
Got this from the latest P3H20 episode of the House of Halliwell podcast
POST EDIT: Greg Vaughn guest stars again with Lochlyn Munro and they discuss Antonio Sebato Jr.
Greg Vaughn is actually quite fun to listen to. He is quite enthusiastic and has connections with a lot of other guest Charmed stars it seems.
That Cranberries dance is really the endless summer of Season 2. All the actresses and guest stars reflect quite fondly over this period.
They talk about Y2K and reflect on that time. Sounds like such optimistism.
SIDE NOTE:
Drew Fuller says he is still single and I suspect he might be LGBTQIA+ (If I can say that?, which would be cool). He is easily excited about handsome men that guest star on the show including Billy Zane - one of Gregs friends in Hollywood apparently!
Greg Vaughn and Lochlyn Munro talk about the double date with Alyssa Milano.
Lol - the funniest part is when Lochlyn teases that he was actually Geoff and not Jack. He also remembers the SLAPs that Shannen gave them both!
Brian never was in a scene with Lochlyn. Leo also was only in 1 scene with Andy too?
Season 2 feels like the best for me because Dan and Jack bring out the sister's personalities in a different way. Dan def should have been Phoebe's love interest - cutting away from that love triangle and then you have a perfect season IMO anyway.

I'm listening to the P3 H20 one atm. I've gotten back into the pod again (giving it another chance), any episode that disinterests me, I'll either fast forward or quit and just hope the next one's good.
Apparently, Shannen and Finola were meant to be on this one too, but Shannen wasn't feeling well (I forgot Finola's reasons, but likely busy) or was still recovering from the con. Holly texted her and was kind enough to give two little tidbits to answer Holly's questions. It was Lochlyn's idea for Shannen to go all in on the slap of Jack and Jeff and Shannen didn't know about the requests of Antonio Sebato Jr. having to be the only man on set on certain days.

That's cool that they tried getting Shannen on for this latest episode. I wonder if this podcast was recorded after their adventures in Paris.
Well, I just learned a new fact. Lochlyn Munro tried or was asked to audition for Andy Trudeau. Looks like he was always destined to play Prue's love interest. I wonder how differently S1 would've been if Lochlyn got the part of Andy.

I think Kerr Smith and Julian McMahan were in the mix for Andy as well! Lochlyn dropped Chris Boydd to the audition or shooting for the 30 minute pilot. His memories of it are pretty specific as well. Interesting how him and Greg are good friends.

Greg seems like a very chill and easy going guy. It's nice how well connected the cast are. They should get Greg and Lochlyn to attend a Charmed con. Almost everyone auditioned for Andy it seems. 🤣

Just listened to the latest Ms Hellfire episode.
It seems like this is the first episode back from the break.
Holly comments on how Connie writes this episode and it seems she wanted to take back charge of the direction of the show.
-This can be seen as there is a reason specified why Jenny isn't in the show any more. -Dan and Piper's relationship is fast tracked a whole lot more and HMC's mentions that Dan would have been Connies preference over Leo who wasn't written in as character by her? -Prue gets a new power too.
Its nice to watch Drew's enthusiasm for the show grow every week. He says Ms Hellfire now is his favourite episode. He sure does love Antonio Sab Jr. You can kind of tell what sort of fan he will be of the show - he likes the drama, action, high stakes so I think he will love Season 3 and 4 the most.
Even though its not the greatest podcast - it is refining itself and all 3 are invested. It also interesting to hear Brians perspective because he didn't read some of these scripts.
EDIT: It is strange that Connie is pursuing Dan over Leo - as she wrote Secrets and Guys - which develops Leo's character as a whitelighter but I guess she writes him in as a forbidden love story - where white lighters aren't supposed to give away their identity to their charges.

One thing I can tell about Constance's writing (with the exception of S2E3 "The Painted World" & S2E20 "Astral Monkey"), is she's VERY Prue centric. Burge's Credited Episodes: S1E1 "Something Wicca This Way Comes" S1E5 "Dream Sorcerer" (Teleplay & Story) S1E14 "Secrets & Guys" S1E22 "Deja Vu all Over, Again" S2E3 "The Painted World" (Teleplay & Story) S2E9 "Ms. Hellfire" (Teleplay & Story) S2E20 "Astral Monkey" Out of ALL of her works, 4/7 of her contributions has been about Prue.

Connie wrote S&G with Sheryl and Brad contributed to story. I'm pretty sure Brad developed the whitelighter mythology hence story credit. Connie wrote Prue's story and Sheryl wrote Piper/Leo/Phoebe's parts. It's clear Connie didn't want Leo to have a bigger part. The only two episodes Leo is in that Connie contributed and wrote were written with other writers. So likely she didn't write any material with Leo on the show. I see why she kept butting heads with Brad Kern. Connie may well have kept pushing to keep Leo out but Brad took back control and brought him back in Awakened. I suspect Connie disagreed on that. I'm not a fan of Piper/Leo. But Dan as a compromise if Connie got her way would've been just as bad, I'm not a Piper/Dan fan. If they compromised and left Piper with neither, then I can get on board with that. LOL Did they mention if Shannen would come on. I read above from others who listened that she was meant to be on the P3H20 one but she was sick. I suspect she'll be on Give Me a Sign maybe with Antiono too if she's on soon. I'm sure Shannen can convince him to do it.

The closest "sisters, sisters, sisters" concept Connie wrote is the pilot. Otherwise, Connie (herself, the creator) doesn't seem to mind one sister "shining brighter" than other sisters (especially Prue), for an episode.

Listening the podcast is kind of refreshing because I think about these storyplot changes and the dynamics between Connie, Brad, the actors, supporting actors and the network all the time - especially from a leadership perspective I always think that Brad came from Lois and Clark and liked the superhero/ superbad guy element into the show. Season 2 is an interesting Season because you see in different episodes which way and who wants the show show to go where. I like this season a lot because of that diversity of creativity while still trying to be consistent - although it doesn't have to try too hard with that given that there is 1 season before it. I would have loved to have understood what direction Connie would have taken the show. Its interesting how you've metioned story credit for the episodes. I never understand all that! They didn't mention anything about Shannen coming on or Antonio. Shannen directed Becareful What You Witch For? right? So I could see her coming for that or before that - perhaps Murpy's Luck.

It's very interesting. Would be so nice if they brought on a writer or two so we could hear from their perspective in more detail about all the storyline changes and storyline progression. Holly must have an amazing memory to remember all of that despite never being in the writers room herself. You could be right about Brad getting that influence from Lois and Clark in that regard. I did watch that show, but had no clue that he was involved in it. But just did a skim of a L&C IMDB page, and laughed seeing there was an episode called I've Got You Under My Skin like Charmed. But now notice there was a L&C time travel episode that he wrote. Now I really do see what influence he brought into Charmed.
Me, too. I'd really love to hear Connie's views on where she wanted the show to go. She'd be a good guest to get on the podcast. Connie has not been seen talking about Charmed in like twenty years ever since she left the show, she has distanced herself from it completely.
As for story credit this is what it means:
Thanks. Yeah I can see her coming on for either of those episodes. But her directing debut would be one I can see her do. Would be fun to see her do some after she left. Just to see her reaction to where the show went after she departed. Than to just have her be completely never be seen on the podcast again after Prue died.

Yeah, I've noticed that as well. I think that Prue was underutilized for season 2 overall, with a sprinkled rebound relationship arc with Jack, and P3H20; so to make up for that, whenever Connie was able to write for the show, she gave Prue the attention, to give her something to do. Just listened to the latest Ms Hellfire episode. It seems like this is the first episode back from the break. With Leo, it's tough, because I think he also stayed as fan service, since I know that fans of the show didn't like Jenny- hence why she was cut, so I wouldn't be surprised if Leo was kept because Brian was eye-candy. I feel like Connie didn't want him ingrained in the show is because her dislike of whitelighters and long-term love interests; She diminished Leo as much as she could in the episodes she wrote. Which, I'm not mad at, because those epiosdes among others in S1/S2 show that a whitelighter isn't needed! Yes, I definitely agree that Piper/Leo is just as bad as Piper/Dan I don't know why they cycled her through love interests, instead of developing any other storyline for her. I would've preferred neither as well. I hope she makes it for either of those episodes, but I know she also directed The Good, the Bad, and the Cursed, and although it's another season away, I'd like for her to come back for that one, too. It'd be hilarious to have Shannen on the podcast for Paige-era episodes!

I think she didn't like it, or if she didn't mind it, wanted it to be only a one-season thing, or perhaps only having them helping new witches and then depart and go off to guide other witches. It won't surprise me if he was kept for eye-candy.
Yeah, it does show how they don't really need a whitelighter. After re-watching 'Witch Trial', It showed me how more exciting Charmed can be when they're thinking on their toes more. And even 'The Painted World', if Leo was in the episode, the story would be pretty much over because Leo can orb in and get them out of the painting no problem. I admired Phoebe thinking on her feet and using Kit.
I really would've preferred Piper to have had more plotlines that focus on her P3 business. A bit more input into trying to make it hip.
Shannen coming on for The Good, the Bad, and the Cursed would be great. I love that episode.
Right! It really would be hilarious. And Shannen won't have to be critical of her own acting, just admiring or being blown away by what happened to the show since she left.

That is something I'll ALWAYS criticize the man about is the whitelighter introduction. We can still have Paige with all her whitelighter abilities but like, I don't like the concept of "the elders" nor the "whitelighter" species, in general. Like, them being "witch guides". This is why S1E10 "Wicca Envy" is so disappointing. I don't mind the powers, I just don't like their "roles", IDK if that makes sense LOL

You prefer them being more independent.
