Only including Major characters - understanding that there are a few others like Pearl etc.
Interested to see which names people would chose or what character they would name their children after.
Variations are welcome as well. E.g if your pick Penelope, you can call your child Nelly or Patsy for Patricia.
Just doing a quick search on 'Piper' and these nicknames/variations come up too.
Nicknames: Pip, Pips, Pippy, and Pippa.
Variations: Pfeiffer, Pijper, Pyper.
Also don't worry too much about whether it goes with your surname/last name.

I voted for Phoebe. I like the name and it reminds me of the nickname of one of my close friends. I also really like the name in general.
Out of all the names from this list, I've never met a Piper in my life ever. But have all the others. LOL

I voted for Phoebe. I like the name and it reminds me of the nickname of one of my close friends. I also really like the name in general. Out of all the names from this list, I've never met a Piper in my life ever. But have all the others. LOL Same for me. I've not met a Piper, just a Philippa and Pip. Phoebe is a nice name. Reminds me of Phoebe from Friends too. |

I picked Phoebe. It's the only name out of the ones listed that I actually like, although Piper is okay. I've grown to like the other names because of the characters, but without them, I just don't like the names themselves.

I would've named her Patty after both my favorite Charmed character and my favorite Auntie Patty.

I'd go with Phoebe or Paige. I liked the girls' mother and grandmother, but Patty and Penny/Penelope seem like old-fashioned names to me. I'd rather go for a more modern name for my daughter.

I think Phoebe is the best one. Piper has become a bit too trendy... I also know a lot of people who name their dogs/cats Piper so I wouldn't pick that (haha).

I voted for Prue (Prudence) but I really love Piper as a name too!
Side note - I really, REALLY wish they had named Piper and Leo's sons P names!

I feel that would have made up for Wyatt being a boy for me. Patrick, Peter, Phoenix or Paxton would have been a few names I would have liked for Wyatt. I liked that Chris's last name that he made up was Perry. meaning "traveler" or "pilgrim.". It would have been cool if that was his actual name. |

I really like Lynettes naming convention too. She was my fave housewife for sure. It would have also been cool to have a Warren Halliwell followed by a Wyatt Halliwell and changing the tradition for boys to have W's and girls to have P's - and honouring their ancestor. |

You're right. DH has great names for "P". I could see them doing that instead of naming him Wyatt. And yes, I have watched that show. |

I can't pick my favourite housewife - it's somebody different depending on my mood, but never Susan. Can't bear her, ugh! That would have been a lovely idea actually. Warren, Wyatt, Wesley, etc. There's certainly a few W names that they could have used. |
