Which S1 episode(s) do you skip on a re-watch?

I decided to do a poll series asking this question per season.

There's no skip entire season option, that will not be part of this poll series. For those who watch bits and pieces of some episodes and fast forward the rest that can still fall under any of the other options, since the episodes are still being watched in some capacity. It just proved to be too difficult to make that an option in this poll series.

Definitely most, for me.

S1 is my absolute favorite! Even the ones I don't particularly like, I'll still watch it.

Watch MOST S1 episodes for sure. I really like S1 actually. But I can sit through them all if I'm doing a binge or re-watch of the whole season, but when its just random episodes I really can watch most apart from a couple.

I do ALWAYS skip Dream Sorcerer though. I have my reasons. I hate this one, it gives me the creeps as someone who was preyed on and stalked like Prue. Same with Sight Unseen.

I don't like being scared so I skip 'Dream Sorcerer' and skip forward past scary parts of some of the others.

I haven't watched any S8 episodes since the first time they aired and don't plan on ever watching any. As far as I'm concerned, Charmed ended with the explosion in 'Something Wicca This Way Goes' - that's when I stop watching since I hate the ending of that episode. So I simply won't vote in the S8 poll.

I still watch 'The Power of Three Blondes' or 'I Dream of Phoebe' if they're on TNT (no way I'd own that DVD!) to laugh at them, so I'll vote in the S6 one.

I feel like this about Witch Way Now being the end for me. And if I cut it off with the original sisters - It would be Prewitched.

Although I do still watch some episodes in Season 5 and 7 sometimes.

I'm stunned at the results honestly. As I said in the former thread, I only skip one episode from Season 1 as the rest of it is perfect!

I can do a full re-watch of S1. But a few do get on my nerves typically Love Hurts and I don't care too much for Dream Sorcerer and I've Got You Under My Skin apart from the B plots in those.

I voted for Watch Most.

Dream Sorcerer typically gets the skip but it's because I find it just too darn creepy and scary (it really feels so different to the rest of S1 in the way it was shot and written). The Wedding From Hell is not my fav by any means, but I can at least laugh at it for all the cringe scenes, and I do love Piper and Phoebe in that one.

No, I didn't vote at all, because none of the choices fit me.

I have two favorite marathons that I do the most-often: The first is all of the episodes written (or co-written) by my favorite Charmed writer, Sheryl J. Anderson. I'm not sure how many times I've done that one!

The other is three time-travel episodes (I don't care for the other ones), which are 'That 70s Episode', 'Morality Bites' and 'All Halliwell's Eve'.

But as I said, all of those are single episodes over different seasons, so they don't fit any of the choices.

But I also like re-watching with other fans. I wish I had time to join the weekly Cafe re-watches, but not at the time they're held. But I love reading everyone's comments.

Oh okay, it threw me off when you said you hadn't watched any S8 episodes since they've aired, and that, along with watching only the three time-travel episodes & Sheryl's episodes she wrote, that would exclude S4-8! Do you ever watch anything from those, or you tend not to?

If I'm home, I like watching Charmed on TNT, so I watch some from S4-5 now and then and those two S6 episodes. I also love the Drake episodes from S7, but that's really about it.

Looking at everyone's posts it seems the general consensus is Dream Sorcerer is the skippable episode of S1. Love Hurts, Wedding From Hell and I've Got You Under My Skin got mentioned too.

I see this sometimes and I just want to take this opportunity to say again that I just adore the awkwardness of The Wedding From Hell. I completely get where people are coming from, but this episode is so bad it circles all the way back around to good for me. I genuinely enjoy rewatching it. 

If I had to skip an episode, I'd choose Love Hurts because I don't like Piper here, and it sets up Leo coming back and whitelighters being too involved in the show. But I do like Daisy and her story with Alec.

1) It's not so much that I hate the cringe acting ('cause I like the cringe acting in S2E6 "That Old Black Magic"). It's the fact that the Charmed Ones were NOT the ones to banish Hecate, Elliot did. I don't count the after thought editing to include Prue "TKing them" into the knife.

Unlike S2E6 "That Old Black Maguc" or S7E18 "Little Box of Horrors", it was never really explained WHY Elliot was able to banish Hecate and her bride's maids back to the Underworld. I can only headcanon the fact that because he was the target? Our leading ladies did absolutely nothing unless delivering the knife to Elliot counts.

2) I get what you mean about liking "oddball" episodes. Even though, nobody said it, yet S1E11 "Feats of Clay" tends to be "lower", on a lot of people's S1 list, as well. Compared to mine, it's much higher lol

That, and I don't hate S1E5 "Dream Sorcerer", either. I thought it was Burge's most unique "evil human". Still not my favorite, but I'm able to watch it.
