Weird combinations when written.
But I was thinking if one of the male characters was bi or gay, and what romances between the male cast could have been possible.

Leo and Cole would have been great during Mid-Season 4 lol. Muse episode comes to mind the most

I would be game for Leo and Cole. I could see Leo and Cole together actually but Leo being put off Cole when he was possessed by the Source. I could see something developing around the time Leo healed Cole in S3 and maybe something happening in between AHBL and Charmed Again.

I think Chris had the most gay vibes, but due to my limited knowledge of the later seasons I have no idea who he could be in a relationship with. Agent Brody? Chris and Agent Brody

Chris and Agent Brody But then with Chris it gets weird because he would be born soon. I do get super fluid vibes from Chris or Drew Fuller. Cole and Leo having an affair would be surprisingly believable. They had great chemistry.

Bromance with Leo and Cole in Season 4 is great. I would have loved to see more scenes featuring them reflecting on the past since they were alive around the same time.

Dan? As in Piper's ex? With Chris? That would be so awkward.

I don't see Leo and Cole at all, they definitely had great chemistry but idk I can only seem to see them as in laws!
I can 100% see Chris as gay or bi though, with Andy is my first thought (I know their timelines don't overlap), I think they would have worked well together! Also maybe Chris and Daryll

Chris should've had a male wiccan boyfriend in the future as part of that phoenix tattoo mark thing coverln instead of whoever she was?! Wyatt definitely is very LGBTQ
I've said it before and said it again DARRYL literally it would've added tension between him and Andy and Prue in season 1! And San Francisco is the gay capital of the world ....the storylines hit so hard with the community like why didn't they embrace more of it ?!?

San Francisco is the gay capital of the world ....the storylines hit so hard with the community like why didn't they embrace more of it ?!? We have to remember the time Charmed was set in via 1998 - 2006. It wasn't until S5 (2002/2003), when we got some subtle hints towards LGBTQ+ representation. S7 (2004/2005) is when they had the most "in your face" LGBTQ+ representation. Brenda and her partner from S7E4 "Charrrmed!", and Phoebe's co-workers in S7E17 "Scry Hard".

The producers behind Charmed I just don't think they were progressive enough like other WB shows at the time with Buffy and Dawson's Creek having LGBTQ main characters. Charmed took baby steps in the latter seasons, but it was very minor. Sad, but what can you do. I don't think it was ever going to happen with the producers being very closed minded from the silent generation era.

I don't like Joss' reasoning for pushing Tara and Willow. His approach was "they're in college, and they 'experiment' in college." I don't think it had anything to do with LGBTQ+ representation, at all. Not to mention, Hollyweird tends to fetishize female on female relationships, which is evident in S6E1-2 "Valhalley of the Dolls, Pt 1 & 2". Even today's shows fetishize the female on female relationships. In Gotham (2014 - 2019) the female on female relationship had no heart but just a fetish. Same with Pretty Little Liars (2010 - 2017) female on female relationships being nothing more than a fetish and no heart in the storyline. It's disgusting.

Xena had the best LGBT representation despite the show NEVER confirming the Xena and Gabrielle relationship on-screen. They had so much subtext. But this was 1995-2001 so it was never going to be a thing in the 90s. But I just found the story had so much heart and love without making it official if you would say. It's my favorite female/female relationship on television. But Xena is always overlooked and overshadowed all the time to other shows in general. But I digress. I haven't seen Dawsons Creek to know how they handled their male on male relationships.

Awww I found Tara and Willow organic and beautiful
Buffy wasn't afraid to push boundaries but Charmed was set in San Francisco Gay capital of the universe
Phoebe should've been the queer icon of the show really ....different uses of male guest appearances and Milano I think would've been open to a same sex relationship the empath and seer investigations wildve been great
But alas , and Darryl too should've been for sure I feel he was the charmed ones gay best friend in all but name

What a great storyline. Him and Brody would be nice together.
