i wish Prue had come back as well. or if at one point after season 4 they had at least expressed that they still missed her. sheesh.
i wish billie had a bit more closure...for all we know she just grew up to be a lonely babysitter =(

No dissapointments here! I think it ended the way it should... They will live happily ever after. There's only one thing I missed and that was a great big spell to defeat The Triad. Potions are not as cool as good rhymed spells.
Well, maybe leaving Billie with no family was a little bit too much.

I also agreed about how they did Billie. I thought her sister Christy would have gotten it right with TCOs. Well I liked how they had the sons go back in time to tell spoil the secret about Phobe and Coop. I thought it was romantic when Phobe can just think of him and he instantly appears. Cheesy but Good. Yeah Charmed Forever

This is what I dislike. Trust Brad Kern to turn a story about women in their twenties and thirties into a fairy story for teenagers and kiddies. This is sad. Even worse, this show has been filled with so many blooper - especially in the past three or four years.
I find it sad that one of my favorite shows turned out to be one that ended up filling me with nothing but contempt and disappointment. The only real bright spot from the last three to four years was Season 6's "Chris-Crossed"

Iwas sorry to see that neither Prue or Darryl were in the final. Other than that it was a fine send off

I was just really glad that my favourite charmed one, Piper, got the last words of the show. I wasn't really upset by how it ended. I mean, it was a little cheesy but 'Charmed' was really never taken seriously so it was all good. At least for me.

I liked the final episode, to me it gave us the possibility of new adventures for the future halliwell clan, and it gave us closure for the ones we know now. We saw that Piper realized her dream of opening a restaurant, and her and Leo grew old together. Pheobe had the child she saw, as well as two more, and she became succesfull in helping others find love, and Paige was able to really embrace the white lighter in her and help guide future withches. So one chapter closed and another one has been opened, and to me the best line of the whole show was, uncle Coop!

I was not disappointed because for my favorite character it actually made sense to have a those three kids and big family. Her "tween" ending fairy tale was actually not only believable but also expected. I feel like Piper (along with Leo) is the one character that was actually developed during the 8 years the show ran. It was fitting for her to get the last words.

I would definitely agree. I like the way it ended and it was a terrific episode with so many of the most beloved characters getting some nice parts. I think Brad K. did a fabulous job with these last few episodes and the pinnacle was last nights finale. Yes, I think the Darly character should have had a spot, but the story, now that I've seen it did not suffer. He could have been in one of the flashbacks to the past, but the point in going was to get magical help. I don't care they SD did not make an appearance as whatever has kept her away this long, made it too late to come back. She was mentioned several times and that's enough for me. Cole's story had played out, but it would have been nice to see him too. But you can't have everything and Brad did try to get Julian M. for the finale. He can only do so much.
I also loved the way, as noted above, all the ways in which they can take the story into any one of several spinoffs. You can have the Chris/Wyatt show (and toss in a their sister every now and then). The children of Phoebe (also three sisters) show. Even the twins of Paige show, though that one is less likely. I guess we, as viewers, will need to continue to make our desires known to the studios and see what pops out. I for one will buy the 8th season DVD, as it portends to be the only one scheduled to be produced with any bonus materials. If I want the others, I can record TNT repeats and get the same shows.
The only thing I wish may have happened at the end would have been the cast stepping out of character to wish the viewers a last goodbye. I'm hoping we'll see that in the bonus materials on the DVD. Still, I really did like the ending.

spiritkas i cldnt agree more with u!
the finale was quite interesting i felt, with the madness of going to the past the present and the future and all the 'opps uncle coop' n stuff like dat funny.. toward the end it was heart rendering listening to the sisters pen their last words and as i tink about how sad this wld be the last show of it all.. i tink ppl sldnt care about the so many questions..ther can only be so much done in 42 minutes! i dint wana tink so much about those many many qns..i cld only think about how sad it was the very last episode of it all.. I will nver forget about the charmed sisters...

:'(My emotional state during the finale. It was so bittersweet to say goodbye, and I think it was fitting how it was all put together at the end. It was so sweet to see the wedding, but a bit too brief as a scene. Piper and Leo, how awesome they are. To see Magic School reclaimed FINALLY and have Leo teaching was the most natural path for him to take. To be honest, I kinda thought that Paige with her kids seemed a bit forced. I didn't think it was that great of a scene. As far as Prue goes, I think Brad inserted the final closing of the door with the little girl waving as Prue did when she first came into her powers as a nod to her, however quick it was. I would have LOVED to see just a glimpse of Cole, for he truly was Phoebe's ultimate love, as she even said in her monologue, maybe at the wedding as a final goodbye, since he was doomed to spend eternity in torture without her. It seems that her finally maturing and loving truly would set him free as well. Darryl didn't even get a mention, and that was just rude. He was a great character and always involved for so many things, but we fans will remember him. I just wish to thank all of the Charmed cast and crew for all your hard work and excellent storytelling. You did a great job!

My only disappointment was no picture of Prue. I realize that they didn't want the actress to come back, but give her a little bit of money for THE Original P3 picture from PREWITCHED. It would make sense that it would still be in the manor.
Otherwise, I think the series ended very well. Piper should have the last word, as the matriarch of the family.

I tend to agree about the original picture thing. I was LOOKING for it, and was disappointed it wasn't there. And yeah, I think there's a reason Piper never said her granddaughter's name out loud on-camera. It was a clue for the fans. That, and the signature TK move on the door that Prue used to do. You know how it goes with reincarnation in the Halliwell line. I think Prue was reincarnated as Piper's granddaughter. I ALSO suspect, that Chris is the father, Bianca is the mother... and that Chris himself is a reincarnation of Andy Trudeau.

Good catch that they never said Prue's granddaughter's name. It could have been Prue, named after her great Aunt Prue. Not unusual in many families. Also, there was several good spinoff possibilities presented. Another catch is that wasn't Christie's future self killed by Billie. What happened to the present Christie in that timeline?

I finally watched the finale, and was really disappointed in a couple aspects. Prue should have been here. I'm sorry, but just mentioning her name, and talking about her were ok, but we still did not get closure as to this character. She was an original Charmed One, and deserved better treatment than what she got in the finale. We know that she was killed by Shax, but it should have been pointed out that the reason being was because Phoebe cast a personal gain spell, which eventually resulted in Prue's death. And even if Kern was too selfish to ask SD back, more photos of her should have been used, especially in the final moments when the pictures on the wall were being shown. Prue was a intrical part of getting the show off the ground when it first aired, and deserved to be acknowledged as such. This was a slap in the face to us Prue fans, who kept holding out that Kern would make a surprize move and have Prue/SD appear.
I really didn't care for the fact that Daryl didn't appear also. Daryl was a major player for several seasons, even during the Prue years. He was a friend of the TCO's and should have been around for this finale.
Forever Charmed should have been a 2-hour series finale, addressing all issues, and brought EVERYONE back. I was sorely disappointed. The 48-mins was too rushed, too convuluted, and did not let us see the full legacy of TCO's, starting with Prue, Piper & Phoebe, and finishing up with Piper, Phoebe & Paige. These are/were The Charmed One's. They all played a role in this series from Day 1.
