I have found info on IMDB that there actually IS a lot of material to create tons of extras for each season of Charmed.
Guess who makes all the problems: CBS/Paramount
THEY are the ones who would not put it on the DVDs, the production team behind Charmed would had loved to pack each season with extras for the fans, but typical CBS/Paramount when it comes to extras for TV series, they can't see the reason for it.

They would only bow for the small amount that is added in the Season 8 box, but not for all the other seasons.

You know what this means? Charmed runs several more years on TNT. The box sets go out of print. Voila! New and improved DVD boxes with tons of extras and a correct Season 8. Buy 'em all over again!

Paramount is practically doing the same to the Star Trek fans. The first releases nearly only had the episodes on them,
then suddenly an explosion of different releases to suck out more money from that series fans.

But thats Paramount in a nutshell.
