why didnt they take a picture of shannen and just add her voice in other episodes so it wouldnt be so obvious she quit???

Because they would have had to pay extra money to Shannen Doherty for use of her image and/or her recorded voiceover.

That is exactly right. In fact I read where Kern said that they actually have to pay the actor the same amount she would have gotten paid her regular per episode rate. For example, in Cat House, the scene where they revisit Prue tearing off with that guy on his motercycle and destroying Piper's wedding cake in the process; well that wasn't SD or a clip from that episode. If you look closely, it was reshot, with another actress and actor playing those parts, and you never see their faces. If they had used the actual scene, they would have had to pay SD her full wage for an episode. They couldn't even use the famous picture of the three of them in any future episodes, not even the finale, Forever Charmed. Plus SD didn't quit, she was fired. That we know for a fact.

I've seen Supernatural since it pretty much came on. I've watched the storyline, see how they do things on there, the demons, and all that.
From what I've seen, the only thing Charmed and Supernatural have in common is killing demons. And killing demons is different. Charmed ones uses spells mostly which unlike Supernatural they don't. The girls have powers and the 2 brothers don't have magical powers.

one of the most common charmed problems is... that they always seem to find a demon to kill lol

i think the actor that played the darklighter who tried to kill Leo in that ghostly plane in s6 also comes back to play an avatar in s7. not sure if this was already mentioned or not.

Most likely this is totally off-topic, but the format change at Television Without Pity has me seething. I relied on the recaps to provide me with accurate data, and now there is little or no S1, S2, and S3 content. Great for continuity ( note heavy sarcasm. ) Basically don't blame me when my fan-fictions are inaccurate. GRRRRRRRRRRR....
Done ranting, excuse me for interrupting.

hello! i'm from germany. my english is not very good, so if i make any mistakes, feel free to correct me. what i wanted to add (i'm not sure if it is mentioned already) is that there was an episode when phoebe's past life wanted to warn her. her past life ended in 1924 and leo was piper's former lover back then. but leo's life ended in world war II just before he became a whitelighter. i keep wondering how this is even possible, because it can't be the same life of leo, he would have been to old when he died then, but otherwise if he died in 1924 and was reborn immediatly he would have been a little bit to young to be a doctor and be married. can anybody explain that?

two more questions i like to add. there was an episode, i think it was season 6, when the charmed ones were in the sixties. patty was'nt shown but she was supposed to be a child. i wonder how old she was supposed to be then and how old she was when she got her daughters, because in my opinion she was far too young to get children in the early 70ies when she was a child in the 60ies. does anybody know how old patty was supposed to be in these episodes? i forgot about the other question that came into my mind. sorry, but if i remember it, i will write it down.

Patty was born in 1950, the year in "Witchstock" was 1967 (January 13, I think), which would've made Patty 16 (she was born in April 1950). Prue was born on October 28, 1970, meaning Patty had her when she was 20, but got pregnant with her at 19. Well, this one is a little harder, because it is a continuity mistake, IMO. Yes, it's been confirmed in at least two episodes that Leo was born in 1924 (May 6, I think). It was also 1924 when Anton disguised himself as Piper's former lover, Past Life Leo. The best I can come up with is that Past Life Leo died prior to Anton disgusing himself as Past Life Leo and that P. Baxter (Piper's past life) didn't know about the death. At this point, she was already with Gordon Johnson (Dan's past life), and she was even surprised to see Past Life Leo at the Manor in the first place.

thanks. but when he was born in may 1924 it is possible, that leo is reborn, because the episode with phoebes past life was in febuary. can you tell me in which episode it is said or shown that pattiy was born in 1950? is it said in witchstock?

Well, if Past Life Leo did die in 1924, then I don't think so, because Leo would've been a fetus in February 1924. Past Life Leo had to have died before his soul could pass on to his next body. As for Patty's birthdate, it was shown on the family tree in "Pardon My Past" in season two:

Is it just me or on the family tree does it say that Victor's last name is 'Jones'?

Is it just me or on the family tree does it say that Victor's last name is 'Jones'? Nope, it does say Victor Jones. Just as Penny's first husband is named Jack Halliwell, who died in 1964. I guess it just goes to show that even the Prue seasons still had their continuity errors. (Though I prefer Bennett to Jones, because Jones sounds so bland.) But still. They originally had him as "Victor Halliwell" in the "Thank You For Not Morphing" credits.

it is not proven yet that a soul makes a fetus grow. it is possible and for me imagineable that the soul binds itself (?) on the body during the birth. i'm not sure if youi understand what i mean, because i don't know the correct terms for the procedure i want to explain. but i've heard of a soul, that was murdered and wanted to go back on earth as soon as possible and found a woman who was pregnant in the 8th month or so and followed her the whole time to be able to take the body of the unborn child for its soul. but the soul could only slip into the body during the birth. it was a very interesting book, with lots of people who were almost dead talking about their out-of-body-experiences. i believe in this stuff, so i can believe in leo being reborn in such short time. but by the way penny changed a lot since 1967 and the episode where patty is pregnant with phoebe.
