How did you discover Charmed ?

Actually I disliked the show but a few months later for my b-day I got Seasons 1,2,3 DVDs and I fell in love with it. My grandma was wise to give them to me, she knew that I'd love the show with just watching the first episode.

sometimes i looked it when i didn't know what to do, but at that point i just looked it sometimes. i liked it but i wasn't addicted to it.

when the end of the 5th season came on tv, i watched it because it was at prime time and there wasn't anything else on tv which was good. i really enjoyed it there.

but the point i became addicted, was at the beginning of the 6 th season. at first i watched it because of drew fuller, but i loved it more and more- and now i need it <3

I was a huge SD fan from her days as Brenda on 90210 so when I heard she was returning to TV I had to tune in. Watched it ever since and haven't missed an episode. I thought I would tune out when Prue died but I couldn't I was captivated by Holly Marie Combs. ;D

I was flipping through the channels and happened to stop at the scene where Phoebe gets thrown against the mirror and ends up with pieces of it in her back (Charmed and Dangerous, season 4) and kind of had a "what the heck is this?" thought. So using the magic powers of Comcast, I figured out what the show was called and when it was on and decided to watch it a little bit more to figure out what the deal was.

one day me my sister and my dad were watching tv and they were advertising seaqson four we watched the first episode and watched it ever since we got friends hooked on it to. then we started collecting the dvds and watch them so much there worn out

I was watching a show right before Charmed came on and there was nothing else to watch so I just kept it on that channel. The first episode I ever watched was about the fairytale creatures coming out of the books to kill them. "Happily Ever After"

I was hooked from than on.

I watched it the very first night it was on tv. My mother seen the previews and she asked me to watch it with her.

We both loved the show and watched it ever since. I was 14 then and now I'm almost 24 and married with kids of my own. It totally freaks me out that it was that long ago!

I used to take language classes on fridays (btw i live in Canada and Charmed always premierd Fridays) and when i got home on the family channel it would be halfway through a movie so i randomly turned on charmed and started to watch it on CTV (Canadian Television). I first episode I saw would have to have been season 6's "Chris-Crossed" where we see Chris return to the future for a bit. I really got into the show and everytime it was on (rerun or premiere) i would watch it. Then my dad switched to Rogers Digital Cable and we got Showcase Diva (one of my favs now... but Charmed no longer plays ) and (i know it was a rerun) i saw season2's premiere, "Witch Trial" and I was like OMG where's Paige? And whos "Prue"? And where's P3 (the club, because at this point she was trying to get a loan). Then Jeremy and the Woogyman and Nicholas came back from the dead and I got very confused and then my mom explained it to me that for seasons 1-3 there was shannen doherty playing prue but she's a huge pain on the set of productions so they canned her and hired rose mcgowan for paige. i still like prue better even to this day and i had never seen season 8 beofre so when i got it on dvd i was at least hoping doherty would return for the finale. i was sadly mistaken. like 2 mentions of her during the seasons run oh well im hoping to see doherty soon in other productions.

I dicovered Charmed by flipping through the channels during christmas break and watching Prue (who i didnt know at the time) kick box a demon --to this day i still dont remember the epoisode but i got hooked and realized it was on TNT every morning at 8 and 9 and in the afternoon 4 and 5. I watched it religously every day i would tape it and watch it when got back home. Since Jan 2006 ive watched every epoisode - which im sure many have too

I first DISCOVERED Charmed when my mom would watch it every once in awhile. I never actually watched it so in the beginning I didn't care for it. I used to say "You are always watching Charmeed!" and she's like "Yeah, so what? You should watch it too, I think you'd like it". I didn't pay any attention to her. Haha. Until she borrowed S2 from her friend and we were in the living room laying on the couches when she started watching it. I was asleep and when I woke up, I thought, "What the hey!?" I might as well give it a shot [We didn't have cable at that time]. So I watched Morality Bites (As I said in my Introduction post) and fell in love with it from there! Now I'm way more obsessed then she is! Haha. ;D

I discovered Charmed when I first heard that Shannen Doherty would be returning to television in a new WB series called "Charmed." I have always been a big fan of Shannen Doherty's since "Beverly Hills 90210." I was also intrigued with the premise of the show being about three sister witches. Later, I heard that another favorite of mine was joining the show, Alyssa Milano, and I was even more excited because I have always loved both Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano. I loved Alyssa since "Who's the Boss," and I was really looking forward to seeing Alyssa and Shannen working together. I thought it was so cute that they would be playing sisters, because I have always thought that they both were stunningly beautiful and would make beautiful sisters. (I did not know Holly Marie Combs before Charmed, however.) So, my mother and I eagerly tuned in to watch the show back in 1998, and loved it. ;D

Shannen, Alyssa, and Holly's on-screen chemistry was AMAZING! It really blew me away! They really looked and acted like sisters, and from that day forward, I was addicted to the amazing chemistry between Shannen Doherty, Alyssa Milano, and Holly Marie Combs. My mother and I absolutely loved the close-knit sisterly bond and interactions between Prue, Piper, and Phoebe. Prue was the perfect big sister. Piper was perfect as the middle sister. Phoebe, with her innocence, petiteness, sweet face, and adorableness, was perfect as the baby sister....and that's what I loved most about the show and tuned in for......the fantastic sisterly relationship between Prue, Piper, and Phoebe. However, the show was never the same for me (and my mother) once Prue left. My mother and I missed Prue, and her interactions with Phoebe and Piper. The chemistry was gone forever.

When I was in 7th grade, in 2006, and I came home from school at 3:30 and I need something to watch. So I was channel surfing and I landed on TNT and I started watching the show. And up to that point I never even heard of Charmed, so I watched the episode that was on at 4:00 and I was hooked. And of course I'm watching it right now as I type this. I've been watching reruns of Charmed for almost 4 years now.

I saw the movie Scream (1996) and saw Rose McGowan, and developed a thing for her. I found out she was on a show called "Charmed" and I wanted to check it out to see.

I watched a couple episodes and didn't understand a thing what was going on because the very first time I turned it on played the episodes "Used Karma"
and
"The Legend Of Phoebe Halliwell"
the plot of it kind of interested me and I wanted to keep watching to understand it, then it just stuck with me.

Then 3 years later I did an presentation for my class and that was about wicca and then I came up with Charmed.. And so i came adiccted to charmed again haha

Well, I had seen a few scenes here and there from reruns, and I really didn't want to start smack in the middle or the series. So a little while after that I had bought the first season, I watched it and fell in love with the series! I have went through seasons 1-6 individual box sets (which are gone now lol) and now I have the Book of Shadows set which I love!!!
