If you're talking about The Source that they vanquished in the season 4 episode "Charmed And Dangerous" The Source is played by Peter Woodward. But other than that Julian McMahon became The Source of all Evil as well. My favorite demon was Avatars and Zankou. I don't know why I liked Zankou though?

I love the original seer, barbas, and Cole/Balthezar... zankou was also awesome. I love how he was mentioned in Forever Charmed. "Was Zankou spelled with an X or Z?"
as for good demons: seer/kyra and cole.

Hi - new member here - never visitied a chat room before - not too sure of the etiquette. Am from UK, and have just watched an episode from series 1. Don't know what number episode, of what its called, good aren't I? But Andy died in it. I wanted to know the name of the actor that played the demon. I know that he used to be a marshall arts star, and think his name is Christopher?!? Do you have any idea who I mean, please? Thanx

While I did like certain demons on the show one thing that bothered me about them was the heirachy definition on them.
Obviously upper level ones bled red, could take on human form, had better powers than low level ones and were harder to track and needed a potion with their flesh in it to vanquish them whilst lower level ones couldn't take on human form, bled green, didn't have better powers than upper level ones and were easier to track and vanquish etc which they touched on in earlier seasons but seemed to dismiss in later ones which seemed pointless to me.
I wish they'd have kept the same concept throughout the years and made them stronger as time went on so it would've made it harder for the Charned Ones to have vanquished them and not had Piper blown them up most of the time also as that would've made more sense.

The demonic hierarchy was one of several plot points to be lost to the continuity void. Piper's power gave the sisters an extreme advantage over the forces of evil, but made the Power Of Three less needed. I agree the writers should have left some demonic continuity, and made demons (Besides Big Bads) stronger.
