Charmed stunt doubles

Almost all actors and actresses do not do there won stunt usually they aren't allowed the only actor I know is Jackie-Chan

for all you too young of folks to know him, john wayne did all of his stunts and perfected the throwing of a good punch so it looked real... and that was back in the day before there was a saying of back in the day lol

Well first of all, the noncomplicated stuff that Alyssa had to do was done by her because she has a dance background and the stunt coreography was easily done.

For me its normal that they hire doubles to do the stunts, even in Charmed.
Just think of how long production had to be shut down and delay a episode if one of the stars got hurt making their own stunts.
Not to think of how much it would cost the company if one of their stars got hurt.

I believe they all did as many stunts as possible, for example I think in all Hell Breaks Loose, Shannen did do the wall stunt - obviously on a wire though!

Rose did barely any stunts and Holly did none after falling pregnant with Finley. Alyssa however, no one really knows. When using Sony Vegas for example I slow the clips right down on the stunts and alot of the time it looks as if Alyssa is doing them.

She was also Alyssa's stunt double on Charmed.

I have a feeling that perhaps she is actually the one you see in the stunt scenes where it looks like Alyssa is doing them.
A little makeup and a wig can work wonders.

She has even been Shannen Doherty's double once. That was in the movie Christmas Caper (number 11).

I agree that it makes perfect sense for them to use stunt doubles. As someone pointed out, if one of the stars was hurt trying to do a stunt, the studio would be in big trouble for getting so far back in production time. That doesn't take away from my admiration for the actresses at all; simply adds to my admiration for the stunt doubles who are willing to do dangerous things to keep the stars safe.

Oh, although this will work as a major spoiler/teaser, if you'd like to see what might have happened if the stunt doubles were mistaken for the real thing, check out The Root of All Evil One of my friends posted it at the old ezBoard version of the Cafe and it's still one of my favorite fics!

I belive it was because Laura Lee Connery was hired after season 3 to be Alyssa's double.
Its mentioned earlier that some one named J. Gunter also has been Alyssa's double. Perhabs this was in season 1 to 3.
I don't know who this J. Gunter is, theres no record of this person on IMDB.

And also the stunt woman for Phoebe was hired becasue they said in one of the magazines that she looked like Phoebe. I think the magazine that it was in was the Prince Charming issue. #23

Even though it would've been hillarious to see those mustached he-she's mentioned earlier, im pretty sure they would've had to shave just in case there wasn't going to be long hair involved.Perfect example: In Julian's (Cole's) last episode where he gets vanquished for good, a little bit after Paige tests the potion & spell combo on Leo, she goes to do it on Cole. For a few seconds he's gone but comes back and tele-throws her out a couple of window panes and into the water (may I add they were right next to the white gate thingy Paige symbollically closes and says "Happy Birthday Cole" as the elevator's about to start closing once they do vanquish him) and for two seconds it shows (in slo-mo) RM's stunt double from the front going through the window. Would'nt it be kinda weird to see Paige with a moustache?
