Official Darryl thread

Is it me, or did they just kinda throw Darryl to the wayside. I know that he was cut for monetary reasons, but after all they went through together does anyone besides me think that he at least deserves and honorable mention?

I so agree with you. Darryl is one of my fav characters in the show. He was with them since the bigining.

He was mentioned in one episode earlier in Season 8. I do think they should have the character come back, for proper closure.

the only other lawman as cool as darryl is sheriff valenti of roswell. i was watching last year's final charmed where darryl spots the sisters in their new identities and i realize that this is darryl's farewell. it is darryl's goodbye. i like the new season; but i miss him. and i realized how self-absorbed the sisters are; and how they could never have done it without him.

On SpoilerFix, it says that DORIAN GREGORY has said he IS returning to "Charmed" later in the year and that there will be something special coming up for him! How great is that!

Sure, Leo may be gone, but Billie is fantastic and now Darryl’s coming back - with, I guess, Sheila, who I like - and it also says that Brad Kern is hoping to get Patty back as well as Grams! YAY!

I felt that they had an ending for Darryll, He was in the last sceen of SWTWG,

I felt that he picked his wife over the sister.

Darryl deserves alot more than they give him credit for.They kind of did him wrong by just cutting him out like that.He has saved the sister's so many time's he has sacrificed his job and his family for them.Darryl deserves to be a future whitelighter.

i really was disappointed when they cut darryl out. charmed isn't the same without him. is he coming back for the series finale? i hope so. the last time they mentioned him was in run, piper, run i think. the last time we got to see him was the season 7 finale. i didn't like the way they made his exit in the storyline, but oh well. i hope he's in the series finale.

Hey what about Andy!!?? lol. Yeah but I agree. Kern totally slapped Dorian in the face and for that. I have absolutely no respect for Kern, as he has no respect for the actors or fans. Dorian has been on since season 1 and after season 7 they toss him out like a rag doll. I understand they are having budget issues, but that is no reason to act like someone was not on a show for the past 7 years. Same with Leo. I don't know what Kern was smoking to get rid of Brian, who is loved by all. Everyone loves the character of Leo. You can't say that about any other character. It just seems silly to get rid of a character that everyones loves. Grrrr I just have serious issues with Brad Kern and I know I'm not the only one!

I agree with everything everyone else has said. Darryl deserves an honorable mention or something. He was there from the beginning. He helped them with a lot. I luv sheila to. She FINE.

Yeah he should have. They mentioned him in Run, Piper Run. He deserves more than that way more!!!

There was lots of rumours that he was comming back for an episode but I guess they must not have had enough money. Darryl was a great big brother figure and covered for the sisters numerous times!

It's sad that Darryl wasn't really mentioned or anything the past season. He has been here longer than Paige.

Though, between the Sisters and his family, he made the decision we all would have made. You can't blame Shelia for telling him to choose because Darryl's life was put into so much danger. He loves his wife and children, and though he loved the Sisters, some things he just had to give in.
