I never understood why a demon would want to be a mortal. It's not like their moral compass is going to change.

I also liked the one when Kit turned into a lady she was elegant and I liked the way Piper asked about her scratching the bed post. And the way Kit said how she had to keep her nails sharp. It was a cool show that one. I also liked kit's colar. Talk about cool. I love this show!!!!!!!

Had Piper ended up with Mark rather than Leo, I'll bet they would've started her restaurant right away rather than a nightclub - that never made a lot of sense to me except to let The WB try to use the various bands to get people to watch the show.

I loved Aviva! Really wish we had gotten to see her again. Having Danielle Harris back would have been great!

Two of my favourite innocents on Charmed were.
1. Billy the main character from Phoebe's favourite film because he was a gentlemen and not afraid to protect his ladies as shown in the season 2 episode with the demon of illusion and finally.
2. The guy Derek who was the beast in season 6 and had that half manticore baby 'cause he wasn't really evil just trying to protect his son and I liked his and Piper's interaction with each other at the end when he was human not just 'cause he was cute and had a gorgeous son also but through the chemistry and connection they both had between them and would've been great to have gone out with more than "Greg The Fireman".
Shame he never came back. I liked him.

Of course, in the later seasons, Innocents became the poor unknown blokes in the red shirts who beamed down to the planet with Kirk, Spock, and McCoy. You knew this poor guy was never gonna see the Enterprise again.
Well, that was the Innocents in the later seasons. I can't count the number of times the Charmed Ones dropped the ball here. Of course, by then, they didn't really give a sh*t anymore.
Paige: We lost another Innocent. (Paige seemed to be the only one that remotely cared by this point)
Piper: Meh, who cares. I gotta complain some more about not having a normal life.
Phoebe: I gotta a baby daddy to find.

Ghost Whisperer did it and it worked very well. I loved Piper the most when she was with him - he helped make her such a great characer, the way Drake made Phoebe and Bane made Prue (Okay, I'll add and Henry made Paige). And I can't see them coming up with a kid who's half-ghost. If they had one, she would be pure witch as all of the kids should've been.

But that was under very unique circumstances. Jim was lucky he was able to step into another body, so he could get back with Melinda.

I disagree that the show became less about innocents. Ava (The Eyes Have It) and Hope (Little Box of Horrors) were two of my favourite. Also, how interesting would it be if Wyatt was Chris's half-brother and Chris was Piper/Derek's kid? Would be a fun twist.

I disagree that the show became less about innocents. Ava (The Eyes Have It) and Hope (Little Box of Horrors) were two of my favourite. It (also) depends on what people mean by "save the innocent". I compiled a list, together, of the possible types of "save the innocent" theme, per season, and I get why there's a distaste for S6, as it ranks the lowest amount of "save the innocent" type of episodes. But, I (also) think S6 is the strongest (next to the Prue Era) of "sisters, sisters, sisters" and "family history". I get the "family history" part is not about Melinda but about "the future Charmed Ones" but still. I'm being VERY generous with this list, BTW. I get the "family history" part is not about Melinda but about "the future Charmed Ones" but still. I'm being VERY generous with this list, BTW. Your list puts it into my perspective that the show didn't want to be about innocent-saving all the time. I think the show was struggling to figure out how they wanted the sister's magical storylines to go- whether it was saving innocents, saving themselves/each other, or practicing witchcraft; that being said, I do like the mix, because not every episode is revolved around an innocent, which can make it hard to develop a storyline if so. Although, I do know Aaron Spelling wanted the show to be replayed in any order, so I'm sure he didn't mind the innocent episodes. I agree that S6 is strong, with it's rich overarching storylines and deep episodic plots. I think that's why it aids in the idea that the show didn't need to focus on innocents 100% of the time, because there were many other aspects to explore.

Aaeiyn made me just just think of something. Innocents can be divided into different categories. There are Innocents who are non magical/everyday normal people who had no clue about what really goes on in the world with witches, demons and warlocks (e.g Daisy, Maggie, Karen). Then there are innocents that have powers and or know about magic and demons (Richard and his family, other witches). Then the third section for people like Ava and Hope who have a connection to the magical world unaware and or hesitant to be involved until the Halliwells help them believe. All still an innocents needing to be saved. Be interesting to see the differences and which type was used more. But there is no right or wrong way to define an innocent. Just something that came to mind.

But there is no right or wrong way to define an innocent. Just something that came to mind. Which is why I said it depends on what we mean by "innocent". I even forgot to list S1E7 "The Fourth Sister" but still. My preferred "save the innocent" style is probably the humans unaware of magic. For that argument, I can understand why the later seasons may not seem so "save the innocent" type.

For me I do like the humans unaware of magic innocents too. When was the last episode we got an innocent unaware of magic that needed help?
