Better enjoy the cold cause summers are harsh here, especially with no electricity.

Sounds like Minnesota! Like one of our local TV station websites put it:

Temperatures crept above zero today for the first time since 11pm Sunday night around 40 hours below zero. Skies will become mostly cloudy overnight with temperatures falling to -4 degrees by midnight and then slowly rising toward zero by Wednesday morning.

We're supposed to get a heat wave tomorrow - up to 10 above! And TWENTY-SEVEN above on Sunday - time to break out the bikinis and suntan lotion!!

Windchills weren't that bad (nothing like Saturday when it was in the 20's but felt like it was 20 below!) so I bundled up and walked the seven blocks to work. Like one of our radio announcers put it - There's no such thing as too cold; just such thing as not enough layers!
