"So you finally a girl around here, you're age. Won't tha be fun?" Nick said, whispering to Terry as they stood at the top of the stairs listening to what was going on downstairs. "Shh...I can't hear." Terry said, concentrating on making out what they being Carmine, Sara and Tony were saying downstairs. "And to answer to your question, does it look like I'm jumping up in down for joy. Sh!t, I bet I'm going to have to share the bathroom with her."
Nick couldn't help but smile at that. "Out of all the things you say, you greatest worry is sharing a bathroom. Haven't you been listening to a word they said?" Terry turned around to look at him, and the expression on Nick's face was serious. "I would but someone keeps talking." Terry said, looking back at him, with a frown. She turned around and craned her neck. "There is an easier way to hear, you know." Nick said, nudging her a little out of the way. He closed his eyes and concentrated, then breathed the words out: [glow=red,2,300]Echo[/glow]
Words from downstairs, had become louder better for them both to hear what was going on.
"So how long do you guys think we should wait til' we tell her about...her being a witch." Sara asked anxiously, she had told the children about the no magic, but she didn't know how long they could go without doing it.
"What are they talking about?" Terry whispered to Nick, while pressed against the banner. "It seems like your new sister, doesn't know about witchcraft and all that good stuff. So...we are not doing it." Nick whispered back to Terry.
"No magic?" Terry didn't like the sound of that very much. "So does this mean..."
"No magic school." Nick answered the question, she was about to ask. "Hell yeah." he whispered, happy that he wouldn't have be doing extra work then.
"Sounds cool to me." Terry said, liking the idea of not going to that place for a while. The whole idea of magic being taught was cool and everything except the homework sucked, especially since they went to Public School as well.
"I don't understand how she is this old and not have atleast been exposed to magic. When I knew Jade, she used magic. Hell she was powerful too." Sara said, trying to understand the situation they were in.
"Who's Jade?" Terry asked, never hearing of that name before. "Desiree's mother." Nick whispered back to her. Both of them falling into silence, to hear the conversation going on below. "Jade rarely ever did magic, when I met her she was on the run from some people. She was very careful when she used it." Tony answered, glancing at his wife. She didn't seem to mind him talking about his ex-fiancee. "That would explain, why she never let Desiree do magic, or tell her about her heritage. But I don't think we will have the same problem that she did." Sara said, looking at both Carmine and Tony. "Although what I'm not sure if she used a power stripping spell potion. Or some type of charm. She might have bound them." "Desiree used magic, when she got away from her attacker at the house. She nearly leveled the whole house. So I don't think they were bound or stripped." Tony said, they were all lost in thought trying to figure out how Jade kept Desiree's power a secret.
"Pills!" Carmine blurted out, recalling a conversation that he had with Desiree earlier that day. "Desiree said Jade use to always give her pills, three times a day. She said that Jade told her they were calcium, and it was for her health. Remember Jade use to use a poisonus herb, on herself." "Yeah, it was Henbane." Tony said, remembering it. On witches it could weaken their powers and potentially be fatal, there was something about convulsions as well. Although Jade, would ingest it like it was candy.
Sara nodded, making sense of it. Although she wasn't sure she liked the part about Jade poisoning her own daughter, just over magic."So if Jade use to feed her Henbane, like three times a day, then she must have really been doing a number on weakening on Desiree's powers. And now..."
"Without the henbane her powers will begin to manifest. What do you think they are?" Carmine asked, they all grew quiet, they had remembered Jade's power and if that was any indication of Desiree, then things would get very interesting.
Nick and Terry looked back toward the attic, where Desiree slept, both wondering what they were as well...

Desiree stared at herself in the mirror, trying to see wear the Italian features in herself. Of course she had no idea what that meant. She pictured Tony in her mind, and didn’t see any sort of resemblance. It almost had her questioning if he was her father.
Before Desiree could give any more thought to it, her cell phone rang, she walked over to her bed. That among other things was good about having the attic as her room. She had gotten a peak in the other rooms of the house, and for the attic the most spacious. She had also worked out a couple of escaped routes from the attic.
“Hello,” Desiree said into the phone, while laying across the bed. “What’s up Biz-otch?” she heard a familiar voice in the phone that made her raise up on one arm.
“Hey, what’s going on with you Cas’?” Desiree really didn’t want to focus on her life right now, seeing as it was not so good at the moment.
“How is everything?” Casandra asked, Desiree thought carefully before she spoke.
“Umm… nothing much, just trying to survive San Francisco.” Desiree said, she always knew how to keep from telling the truth without lying. A gift from her mother or perhaps Tony.
“So nothing out of the ordinary has happened out there.” Casandra said, and Desiree could sense that she was digging and that meant that she knew something.
“Ok what do you know?” Desiree asked, she was not into playing games. Unless she was the one playing them. Desiree could hear Casandra sigh into the phone, obviously angry that Desiree had caught on. “You’re parents are dead. That’s all I know. And I should add that it hurts that you haven’t called me in your time of need.” Desiree rolled her eyes, and bit down on her lip. If Casandra knew about it, it was only a matter of time before her entire school knew what happened.
“I’ve been so busy trying to cope with what happened, and things have just been crazy around here.” Desiree said, then mentally kicked herself for what she just said.
“Where exactly is ‘here’?” Casandra asked, Desiree had to give her credit. This girl didn’t miss anything. Desiree bit her lip trying to think of a good way to proceed. Telling Casandra that the man that she thought was her father and now was dead isn’t. And that she was now living with her real father, and to top it all off she could possibly still be in danger.
“I’m at a place where I can rest, the police don’t want me to disclose that information. As a matter of fact, it could be dangerous for us to be talking on the phone.” Desiree had to cover her mouth to keep Casandra from snickering.
“Dangerous?” Desiree could hear the rising fear in Casandra's voice. “What do you mean?”
“I mean that someone killed my parents, and they could be after me. But I’m safe right now. But you could be for talking to me, I mean with the new technology that they have they could trace this call back to you and…” Desiree paused, she could hear Casandra’s breathing pick up a little. “ I think I should go, I don’t want to put your life in danger.” Desiree clicked off the cell phone before Casandra could respond. Desiree lay back on her bed, this should keep her friends away for a while. Maybe this was for the best. A new beginning for her. Desiree laid back on her bed and pondered it for the rest of the day.

"Don't you think you guys should just tell her?" Nick said, playing with the salt shaker on the table. Both he and Terry had finally been able to get some information from Sara.
"No we can't just tell her, we have to ease her into the idea of being a witch, so first she goes to the store," Sara paused, thinking. "And then?" Terry asked, trying to figure out what the next step in the plan was.
" Then after a couple of weeks, possibly months then we will tell her. We will have her at the store, so the idea won't be so foreign to her, when we tell her she is a witch." Sara said, as she added more ingredients into the pot..
"Months? I heard months, you expect us to go without using our powers for months." Terry exclaimed, crossing her arms.
"Yeah, I think you are going to need a new plan. I think you guys should just go up there and tell her. What if there is a demon attack, what are you going to do then?" Nick asked.
"Well, I am going to be using my powers no matter what," Daniella said, coming into the room. She had been listening outside the kitchen for a while, but finally decided to make her presence known.
"I was wondering when you were going to come in," Sara said, taking the chicken out of the oven. She had sensed her daughter, when she had been walking down the stairs.
"You can go a couple of days without teleporting yourself or other people." Terry said, and then looked at her mother. "Now just so we are all clear, magic school is out for now." Terry, Nick and Daniella all watched Sara.
"Well," Sara turned to see the kids watching her, making her momentarily pause for a second. "I never knew how much you guys didn't like Magic School."
"It's school what do you expext." Nick said, leaning back in the chair waiting for Sara to answer Terry's question.
"I like the magic part it's just the whole school part I don't like that much." Terry said, Daniella nodded in agreement.
"Well, Magic School is off for now." Sara said, not liking the grins on the kids faces.
"Now another thing, what are you guys going to do about Desiree, is she going to be going to our school?" Terry asked, both Nick and Daniella nodded in agreement.
" Yeah, we have to enroll her in your school. She is about your age," Sara said doing the math between when Tony and Jade were together, and when he and her were together. If she calculated it right, then Desiree should be older than Terry. "Older." She had better be older than Terry, Sara thought. She made a note to herself to get a look at Desiree's birth certificate.
"It be nice to talk to her, she has been in the attic all day. She hasn't even come down to use the bathroom." Daniella said, now thinking about it.
"She doesn't need to, there is a bathroom in the attic." Nick said confused.
"Thanks to a new spell, there is now." Tony said, coming in from the living room with Carmine. "Time for dinner, can one of you guys go get Desiree." Tony said, looking at the kids.
Nick and Terry looked away, and Daniella looked down at her fingernails. "Fine, I'll go do it." Carmine said, leaving the room.
"This will be a fun dinner." Nick said, imagining what they will be talking about.

(Thanks, the plot has been going through my mind for years, and I finally decided to write it all out. Hope to develop it into a series. Just have to make sure writer's block doesn't get in the way.)
The Casella family ate in silence at the dining room table, each had things to say but didn't quite know how to say it. Each glanced up at eachother, and then they glanced over at Desiree who kinda played with her food. Tony looked up from his plate to his wife, who nodded at him, and then looked around the table. This was the first time it had ever been this quite and of course he knew Desiree being there would have an affect but he didn't realize how much of an affect until now. Taking the step he decided to break the ice. "This is chicken is delicious honey." "Thanks sweetheart." Sara said, she smiled at her husband, knowing he was trying to make the best of the situation. "I got a treat for you guys, I made some strawberry scones."
Adam looked up from his plate in excitement, "You did?" Sara smiled down at her son, who sat next to her.
"I sure did honey, extra strawberries for you." Sara smiled, at him.
Adam turned to look at Desiree, who was sitting next to him. "You are going to love my mom's strawberry scones. They're the best." he paused a moment, and then asked, "Does your mom cook a lot?"
Tony almost choked on a piece of chicken, that he had been swallowing. Out of all the questions to ask, that was one of the worst ones. Tony now preferred the silence, than that question. Everybody else at the table had gotten really quiet, he was just about to speak up, when Desiree decided to finally speak.
"My uh...parents..." Desiree glanced between Sara and Tony, trying to figure out why they hadn't told him that her parents were dead. Then again, how do you explain to a child about death in the first place, and she was sure as heck wasn't going to do it. "They are gone. They are in heaven."
"Oh...they are dead." Adam said, looking at both his parents and then his cousin and sisters. He would have suggested a spell to talk to her parents in the book of shadows but knew that wasn't allowed at the moment.
"Yeah, besides my mom didn't cook." Desiree said, remembering Travis her butler.
"Oh your dad," Daniella spoke getting interested, but then she glanced at her father when she mentioned the name 'dad' that seemed odd to say for some reason. " did the cooking?"
"We had a butler," Desiree said, as she started cutting meat off her chicken.
"Butler? You had a butler?" Nick said, a little more interested in Desiree now. Terry was watching her too with more interest.
"Yeah, well have actually." Desiree looked over at Carmine. "I should fire him, I guess. Well, no I think I will give him to the VanBrens." Carmine nodded his head in agreement. Desiree suddenly got a funny memory involving Carmine. "Remember that time he wouldn't let you in the house because you were drunk."
Carmine and Desiree both started laughing, making the rest of them confused. "Yeah, and you called me on my cell and told me how to sneak in the house without him or security knowing." The last sentence stuck in Tony's mind.
"Wait, you know eachother?" Terry asked, trying to figure out if she was missing something. "How is that possible when dad just found out about her?"
Desiree had yelled at Carmine for it, while they were clothes shopping. His excuse was reasonable but she knew there was something else there but she couldn't put her finger on it. Tony echoed it in the minds of Adam, Daniella, Terry and Nick,'Under a Truth Spell'. Each one of them nodded, as if understanding. Making Desiree frown, and Carmine noticing. "I was under the impression that Tony was not the father, and I was friends with Jade so I knew Desiree." Carmine said quickly, it was pretty much the same thing he told Desiree.
After the little incident, the table went back to silence with minimal talking in between desert. Everybody went back to their rooms, and to sleep.

Wow, just finished reading the last three updates. Great job, DP. I was cracking up quite a bit. The BS Desiree told Cas was great and Sara calculating Desiree's age and even the dinner.
Should be interesting to see them in school. Wondering, do we know the ages of all the kids yet?

Desmona and Cyre both watched the chaos that insued, once the news that the king of the Seelie Court had died. An emergency meeting had been called, to find out what exaclty was going on.
Desmona noticed the houses had quickly began forming alliances with eachother, everybody had begun suspecting eachother once the news had gotten out. She along with her brother and mother sat in front of all the tables, they were hushed whispers going through the whole room, Ce'lina, the queen of the Seelie Court, sat on her throne. She glanced over at her husband's empty seat, then looked out to her people.
"Silence." she spoke and every house quieted down, as they turned to listen to her speak. "The news has reached all of your ears I am sure, my husband is dead. I am not exactly sure but there is a dead elf in my room, and my husband poisoned so one can assume that the elves are possibly involved." "Are we going to war against them?" a voice called out, Desmona tried to see who it was.
"I am not sure if it was even the elves or perhaps a set-up to throw me off the real killers, I can only assume that this will be remedied quickly." Ce'lina said, she nodded as if to finish the meeting but a voice from the audience cut clear across the room.
"Isn't it customary to name your heir?" Desmona and Cyre shared a look before searching the audience for who had the nerve to ask the question.
"It is...so I must tell you that I honestly can not say." Ce'lina said, she glanced down at both Cyre and Desmona who looked completely shocked.

"Hey baby, how you doin?" Desiree heard a male voice from behind as she jogged down the street, she had been on her way back from the park. She had seen it previously when she was driving with Carmine.
It was early in the morning and Desiree had been running to clear her head, from everything that had happened. She hadn't known how long she had been gone from the house but she remembered the sun setting when she left. She hadn't bothered to look at her cellphone.
"I'm doing just fine, " Desiree said, not really wanting to see who was talking to her. "So you new around here?" the guy asked, and Desiree focuse on running.
"Yeah." Desiree said, she was starting to burn out from the running. " A couple of days ago." "So you going to be going to school around here?" Desiree was getting tired of the questions from this guy, she paused and looked over to see who she was speaking too, and paused momentarily when she saw who she was speaking with.
"Yes, actually I am." Desiree said, now noticing how attractive the boy was. She silently prayed that she wasn't sweating. She glanced down at what she was wearing. Black sports bra and black shorts, and thank god she had a nice tight little belly.
"That's good, so what is your name?" He had stopped the car, to talk with Desiree.
"Listen buddy, I am not into talking to strangers, so how about you introduce yourself first?" Desiree was starting to get impatient, with this guy. Although he was cute he was a little over curious.
"Ah, I see. Well my name is Steven. Call me Steve." he said grinning at her, Desiree blinked at him for a moment.
"You're name is Steve? Huh? Fine my name is Lisa. Nice to meet you." Desiree said, she rarely ever gave her real name to a guy she just met. "Nice to meet you, now if you don't mind I have to get home."
"I can give you a ride." Steve said, making Desiree frown at him and shaking her head. "Or not."
"Don't take rides from strangers." Desiree said.
"Yeah but you know me, my name is Steve." Steve said, with a grin.
"Yeah that isn't going to work for me." Desiree started to walk away.
"Hey wait a minute," Steve yelled making Desiree paused and look back at him. "I printed up some flyers for a party, want to come?"
"Its sunday, nobody has a party Sunday night." Desiree said, rolling her eyes and stepping toward the car.
"It's for Friday. Here." He handed her a flyer, Desiree took it and looked up at him and then back at the flyer. "Ok, I'll think about it."
"Don't lose that, it's an invite only. I'll make sure to put you on the list." Steve said, giving Desiree hopeful eyes.
"You are trying to hard, I'll think about it though." Desiree faked smile at him, and let Steve start the car up and drive off. She looked back down at the flyer.

Desiree walked down the street where the house was located, her legs beginning to ache from her run. She ran her fingers through her ponytail, as she saw the house. Before she could take the next step, she heard a dog barking that was very close. Turning Desiree turned to see where the dog was, right before the dog leaped at her, making Desiree scream in surprise. Desiree backed up, getting away. "Bad Dog." she said as it leaped back up at her, "You sit." she said, and the dog stopped trying to jump on her and sat down.
"So sorry about that." she heard a voice from behind her, she turned to see a guy walking toward her, with a leash in hand. "He never does that," he said, and noticed that the dog was sitting down. "Oh you got him to sit."
Desiree couldn't help but notice that the guy wasn't wearing a shirt and couldn't keep her eyes from wandering. "Yeah well, Great Danes are usually not aggressive. Unless they are breeded wrong, so no harm no foul. But most people don't know that so I would be careful with him around other people." she patted the dog on the head, and then turned back to see the guy staring at her. "So it was nice meeting you..." she trailed off. "Joe and you are?" the guy said reaching a hand to Desiree. "Desiree," she said, shaking his hand. Desiree knew her appearance could not be so good with the run she just took, so she wasn't even going to waste her time trying to flirt with this guy. "So...once again nice meeting you." Desiree began walking up the steps toward the house. "Wait, I think you are going to the wrong house." Joe said, watching Desiree while putting the leash on his dog.
"Oh no," Desiree looked at the house and then through the window where she saw the same chair on the porch. "Right house." "Oh, are you visiting the Cassela's?" Joe asked, standing up to look at her a little more carefully.
"Umm..." Desiree now realized that she was probably going to be explaining her situation to a couple of people now. "No, I live here now. I'm Tony's daughter." Joe blinked at her for a moment, and then glanced over at her house and then back at her. "Oh...that's cool." Joe said, not really knowing what else to say. "Uh..."
"Yeah I know it is weird. Just think it was weirder for me when I found out a couple of days ago." Desiree said smiling at him, and this made him laugh. "So you live around here somewhere?" Desiree asked.
"Yeah right over there," Joe said, pointing across the street and a couple of houses down. "Come over in case you need anything at all."
Desiree nodded and smiled, "I bet you say that to all the girls."
"No, only the ones who know so much about dogs." Joe said, making Desiree look down at the dog.
"Oh it was a hobby of mine, when I use to breed dogs." Desiree said, "What's his name?"
"Dane." Joe said smirking, making Desiree laugh. "Yeah I know not very imaginative. But I got him when I was younger and couldn't think of any names at the time."
"Oh god, you named your Great Dane, 'Dane' . That's cute. I like that." Desiree said, running her fingers through her ponytail.
"What's so funny?" a voice said, from the porch of the house. Making Desiree and Joe look up to see Tony, with a not-so-friendly look on her face.
"Hello Mr. Cassela," Joe said, waving at Tony.
"Oh hello Joe, Desiree. It is time for breakfast." Tony said, and grabbed the newspaper. He stood up and stared at the two of them. "Coming....Sir." Desiree wasn't exactly sure what to call him, since 'Dad' sounded so personal and Tony sounded so impersonal. She would have to decide on something to call him.

“I’m glad you could finally join us.” Tony commented as Desiree entered the kitchen, and took a seat next to Daniella. “Sorry, had to take a shower first. I was all sweaty after that run.” Desiree said, as she looked at the food on the table, that run had made her hungry and it looked like Sara cooked enough food to satisfy her appetite.
“Didn’t seem like you to much problem with that sweat when you were outside talking to Joe,” Daniella said, while taking a sip of her orange juice and looking at Desiree with a not so friendly expression, giving Desiree the impression that a certain little girl had a crush on Joe.
“Joe from down the street?” Terry asked, as she examined some of her bread. “Cuz’ he is so cute.”
And if you’ve seen him shirtless, you know I wanted to do a little more than talk to him outside. Tony couldn’t keep him mouth from dropping as he heard that thought from Desiree. It also surprised him since that was the very first that he was actually able to pick up from Desiree, she had been very hard to read. Something told him that he would have to keep a very close eye on his daughter and boys. “Do you run a lot?” Sara asked, trying to change the subject. “Perhaps you and Nick could go running sometime.” Sara suggested thoughtfully, she would have to make sure the kids were going to connect somehow. “He is a baseball player.”
“Not a very good one though.” Daniella said, as she took another sip of her orange juice and gave Nick a smile. Desiree glanced down at the girl again, she was a lot more outspoken then the rest of the people at the table. Perhaps Desiree wouldn’t mind dealing her that much.
“How is your backhand coming, since I don’t think it really helped you your last tennis match?” Nick said, staring back at Daniella.
“Both of you give it a rest.” Tony said, as he reached for ketchup the exact same time that Desiree did. For a moment, both of them paused not knowing what to do. “You can go ahead.” Tony said, watching her use it on her eggs and couldn’t help but smile.
Sara and the rest of them all noticed it as well, Sara then glanced at the expression on Tony’s face and then he caught her eye, and smiled. “That looks so disgusting.” Daniella said eyeing Desiree’s plate.
“It’s actually really good, you should try it.” Desiree said, mixing it together and then taking a bite of it.
“Dad says the same thing, you know you are the only one besides Carmine that actually eats it that way.” Daniella said, making Desiree pause momentarily from taking another bite.
“Oh.” Desiree said, and she began eating again each of them were silent at the table not knowing what to say next. “So when would you like to start school? Tomorrow?” Tony asked, trying to think of a new subject. Sara frowned at him and shook her head. “Or whenever you feel up to it.” Sara nodded, and glanced over at her other children, they were waiting for a response from Desiree.
“Yeah that sounds good, I think involving my self in school would be better anyway.” Desiree said, as she ran her fingers through her hair. It grew quiet again, Desiree ran her fingers through her ponytail, drinking her juice when a cellphone rung and Tony quickly got up to answer his cellphone. The others were so silent they could hear part of his conversation.
“ I told you…yeah…I know that but given the situation that I am in I can’t….When?….I guess…but still I have to think about…Yeah I understand that but...” The conversation continued, making Desiree frown; the conversation sounded very important and a lot more serious than it should have for a traveling salesman.

"Do either of you guys know a guy named Steve..." Desiree paused, remembering that she hadn't got his last name. "He is black, light skin. About 5'11', green eyes I think." Nick and Terry glanced at eachother before looking at Desiree, and then Nick spoke. "Yeah why?"
"He is having a party of Friday and I got an invite." Terry choked on the orange juice she was drinking and Nick's eyes raised slightly.
"He is having a party and he didn't invite me. I better be on that list." Terry said, checking her nails.
"Oh, was he serious about the invite only thing? I thought he was just kidding about that. Does he usually throw parties?" Desiree asked, starting to get curious about this Steve guy, if he was as popular as he acted then Desiree might have lucked out on this one. Of course she had been a bit of a BIatch to him earlier.
"Steve's parties are the best. Always are." Terry said, and then glanced over at Desiree, and smiled. "He doesn't have a girlfriend."
"I figured that this morning." Desiree said, and Adam looking down at his plate. Before Desiree could say anything else. Tony came in with a somber look on his face, making Sara look over at him in concern.
Desiree wanted to ask what was so important that his company would call him on Sunday morning. Perhaps Calvin Klein didn't like the new billboard that they put up or something. Before she could say anything, though her cell phone rung. She looked down at her caller Id, before she picked it up. "Hey Lena, what's up?" Elena Krenst was a fellow cheerleader and Desiree pretty much knew what this cool was about. "Hi Desiree, how are you? Are you ok? I called as soon as I heard, is there anything that I can do?" Desiree knew that last line was B.S. becasue she had been up til' 2 o'clock in the morning assuring most of her friends that she was ok, and that she wouldn't be coming back anytime soon. "I'm fine, and you? How is...Kevin?" Desiree asked not remembering Elena's boyfriends name. "Kyle." Elena corrected, for the tenth time since she known Desiree. "Fine, he is good. But I know you must be sad losing your parents and all and I would hate--" Desiree set her cellphone down and looked up to see the rest of them staring at her.
"Oh, she is telling me how sad she is for me and how she couldn't bear to lose her parents and how strong she thinks I am for how well I am handling it. Then, she is going to get into the reason that she really wants to talk to me, about me naming my successor for the cheerleading squad." Desiree said, all of this to them and couldn't help but smile at the expression on their faces. "She is only trying to make her conscience feel better." She lifted the phone back up and help up at a finger, then walked out of the phone. Elena was talking about how much she would miss her parents, and Desiree rolled her eyes.
"To have your parents killed like this--" Desiree was getting tired of this.
"Ok, Elena." Desiree said, having enough of this fake sob story. "I know why you called," she said as she walked into the living room. "Who put you up to this, Sheila? Because she should already know that I am not going to give--"
"Sheila? This call has nothing to do with Sheila at all or the cheerleading squad. I thought we were friends, and I was just trying to be supportive." Desiree paused as she listened to Elena's tone, perhaps she was telling the truth. Desiree tried to think of Elena as a friend, but mostly just thought of her as an aquantaince which made Desiree wonder how much attention she actually showed her.
"Well...Elena I'm sorry, I didn't think we were that close. It's my fault, perhaps Im just being B!tchy, I don't know." Desiree said, wondering if that was a good apology, of course Desiree hardly apologized and this was not one of those times either. "But I can't actually listen to someone who hangs around that trampy two faced slut, Sheila." Desiree heard an intake of breath but another sound she heard the unmistable sound of another person on the line.
"You F**king B!tch, who do you think you are talking about me like that. You're lucky you're @ss all the way in San Francisco and not here in Santa Barabara because I wouldn't mind kicking it." Sheilia screamed in the phone with rage, making Desiree smile with pleasure.
"First of all sweetie, we already fought and by the bruises I gave you we already know who won that. But if you really are serious when I come out there to bury my parents, I won't mind digging a grave for you as well." Desiree said and then clicked off the phone. "And Elena the next time you think you can pull a phone scam on me...don't...you are not smart or clever enough. Leave it to the pros."
"I guess you should know," the innocent sincerity dropping from Elena's voice.
"Yeah I do actually. And another thing, all you had to do was ask who I was going to give the position to next captain would be. And it's neither of you two broads. Mrs. Cisik will tell you on Monday, bye B!tches." Desiree clicked off the phone and turned around to walk into the kitchen but Tony was staring there with a shocked expression on his face.
"Could-" Before he could say anything the doorbell ring, and Desiree thanked the cliche' 'Saved by the bell.' as she saw him move toward the door with a last look at her.
