Those are really, really great looking sketches, and that watercolor...WOW! You have a talent that should not be wasted. Perhaps you can do the illustrations for my novel "The Unseen Servant of God" Care to draw a beautiful, green-eyed vampire?

Leigh, you finally did it! The watercolor is amazing! Your sketches are great too but you really shine when it comes to painting. If you take requests.. I'd love to see one of Leo and Piper

I did a painting of evil Wyatt this weekend- I did it quick, and it's odd with so many shadows...but what the heck, here it is:

Love the artwork, here! Having spent most of my life making art, I get a BIG kick out of seeing good stuff from younger artists. This isn't "Charmed"-related, but here's one of my latest, a Johnny Cash, in pen and ink... Don't let your instructors get you down...my college teachers told me I'd fall on my face, drawing caricatures...and I've been working steadily, twenty years since I graduated!

Aww, thanks for the encouragement (I I love your drawings- they're all very cool). I try not to let art teachers get me down...university was just a shock, I went from being the art teachers favourite in high school to being told that painting is dead and that I'm far too conservative. I did drop art this term, my 'teacher' was a lunatic. I'm gonna try one more class and if I don't like it I think I'll just stick to painting as a hobby. I don't care if they think my work is garbage, but I don't want it to bring down my GPA. ANYway (sorry for rambling) now that I'm on break I had a chance to do some acrylic painting. The others were watercolor (and not really my favourite thing to do) and I think this one turned out better because I'm more used to the medium. Drew: I did it at 1 in the morning because I can never sleep- I figured I should do something more productive then starring at the wall

Thanks are you an art major or this just a spare time kinda thing. I'm a history major and I WAS doing a double minor in art and art history. If my next art class does not go well, I'm going to switch to a specialist in history (my goal is to be a professor of British history but art was my backup). So for now I'm an art minor, but chances are that won't be for much longer. I'll just stick to making Charmed portraits for fun

also, art teachers? ugh! my middle school art teacher was the kind of girl (yes, GIRL, she was no older than twenty five!) who thought her art wouldn't be matched. she would litteraly take your artwork from your hadn, i mean TAKE IT, and say, no, it needs to be like this, and DRAW RIGHT OVER YOUR WORK.
my high school art teacher though, is actually an artist. his paintings are amazing, and he doesn't tell you what to do, he encourages you.
by the way, did i mention I like your painting? ;D

Love your work! The painting is quite nice...
I can understand a desire to try other classes; I changed majors twice in two years, when I attended the University of Maryland, partially because my instructor had to devote all of his time to jocks who didn't know which end of a pencil to use, partially because I discovered Art History, and Radio, Television, and Film classes!
Every year, somebody will say that 'representational' art, and 'traditional' painting is dead. Don't listen to them; as long as there's a market for a style, it won't die! 'Abstract' is really out of favor, at the moment, as there is such a glut of it that it isn't selling...Ultimately, only two things matter: Do you enjoy what you create, and do people want it? If you can answer 'Yes' to both, then to heck with the 'experts'!
