I agree with all of you. Kyle was good and all for the most part. Well except the revenge part and still wanting revenge after he found out the truth. Even if the Avatars were trouble it doesn’t matter. I think the main reason he was made a whitelighter was because he tried to get rid of the avatars and did not like them just like the Elders. So I think that's why they made him one cause of a common dislike in Avatars. Not trying to knock Kyle or the Elders or anything lol just the way I perceive it.

Andy did a lot more good in the world then what we saw Kyle do. Andy did both good deeds and risked his life to save others and was connected to the magic world. So he most certainly deserved it. I agree with the person who said the reason they probably did not mention Andy becoming a whitelighter is because at the time the writers and producers, probably did not know exactly what one was or what they wanted to do with the concept of a whitelighter. At least we can all make our own ending up since there wasn’t any real closure on what happened after Andy’s death.

And, it is good that we can make it up what happens. I love to think that he became a whitelighter and is continuing to help out the innocents, like he did when he was a cop.

i too like to think that had Andy survived maybe Prue would have survived as well. I also like to think that Andy is a whitelighter as well. He would have made a damn good one.

I miss Andy he would have been an amazing whitelighter. He and Prue were an amazing couple.

I really have a hard time believing this. Why would Kyle still want revenge against the Avatars, when he knew that they were not responsible for his parents' deaths? That doesn't make any sense. He realized that although they were innocent of his parents' deaths, the Avatars were still a major threat to the world. And he was right.

As for making Kyle a whitelighter because he tried to get rid of the Avatars . . . I have no problems with that. The Avatars tried to change the world without the consent of its inhabitants. Why do people forget that? Many fans seem to be impressed with the idea that the Avatars want to make this world wholly good . . . when anyone with common sense would have realized that what the Avatars were attempting to do was upset the balance of nature and rob humanity of its free will. I found nothing admirable about that.


As for Andy, I don't think he needed to be a whitelighter to be worthy of Prue. Sometimes . . . you have to learn to give up what you love or desire the most. But then, humans are not very good in letting go.

Andy should not have died

That was a big mistake the writers put in. Prue and Andy should have gotten marrired. Andy was one of the coolest guys on the show and I couldn't believe it when he was taken away.

i think andy should have become a whitelighter rather than kyle broody because andy deserved it more

andy was the best the whole prue andy relationship was the best rlationship in the show besides leo and piper. i cry every time i watch the lat episode of season one cause its soo sad expecally with that song at his funeral.

Has anyone ever seen the "TIMECOP" episode called "A Rip in Time"?

The episode not only starred Ted King as timecop Jack Logan, it also featured Tom O'Brien as the time traveling Ripper. O'Brien also appeared in the Season Three episode, "Bride and Gloom", as Prue's warlock husband.
