As for the bed-jumping, Esmeralda I don't think Connor will be jumping any guys anytime soon. Sure she likes guys and wants a boyfriend but she's a little too awkward to get one. Not that she wouldn't mind.

Thanks, guys; I'm glad to hear the eye-candy and bed-hopping was just a joke. The plotline sounded *so* interesting, for it to go from that to just another sex-RPG the way Charmed was changed from a great dramedy to just a soap opera full of eye-candy, oh, it made me shudder, particularly since my character is anything but eye candy and would quickly get lost in the shuffle!

I've PMed Rocker about letting me play my character because I don't want to declare whether Sandy is good or evil....only she (and I!) would know for sure. Along that line, the profile would also be very short, since to tell too much would give away too much. Rocker wanted to check with Solar to see if that would fly, so I'm waiting to hear.

If they agree, then I'll post Sandy's profile--once I figure out how the heck to post an image!

Personality:
Kyle is someone who, on the outside seems somewhat cold and unfriendly, but for those lucky enough to break through her barrier (not exactly an easy task), they will find a surprisingly sociable person. She figures the reason that most people tend to avoid her is her love for solitude. Growing up with 4 older brothers taught her to enjoy her alone time and never take it for granted. Kyle is a person who never minds to take a walk around campus by herself, or simply spend time alone. During these times, she almost always has her headphones in, writing on a notepad, another sign that tends to lead people to keep their distance. Kyle is a creative type, always writing in some way, due to her desire to become a published author. Along with her passion for writing, she also has a love for music that she and her brothers shared growing up. Next to writing up a story, listening to or creating music is her next favorite thing.

On the other hand though, she really is a nice and outgoing person,
something her friends can easily bank on. Her friends label her as the person that anyone can have a good time around. She is witty and sarcastic, and easy to be around. However, these traits tend to turn somewhat sour to those who aren't in her circle of friends. People who don't know her very well will probably label her as too sarcastic and somewhat unapproachable.

Even though it takes time and patience to break through to her inner self, it is worth it in the end. She is someone who can make a great friend...or of course on the other hand, a terrible enemy.

Appearance:
Kyle is mostly a natural beauty, choosing on her own to wear limited amounts of makeup. She has light brown eyes that she claims are her best attribute, because they are extremely enticing. People always say that the eyes are the key to the soul, and Kyle is no exception to this; in fact, she could probably be the reason for this expression. Her eyes are always full of expression and thought, and people (mostly of the male type) tend to get lost in them. Kyle's eyes are ones that you won't forget. She also has dark brown hair that reaches a few inches down her back. Her look is mostly labeled as beautiful but mysterious.

Her clothing style varies greatly from dark and expressive, to simple and comfy. She doesn't exactly go for designers or trends, but tends to stick to her own style. What she likes is what she likes. But the norm outfit for her would be a pair of dark wash jeans with a styled top. Her shoe of choice is some sort of flip flop, but as the colder months roll around, boots are what she goes for.

History:
Kyle's life story is one that becomes more and more normal as time goes on. In her younger years, she grew up with an ideal life. 4 older brothers who loved her dearly and parents that were the perfect couple. But some time after she had turned 13, things started to go downhill for her. It started with a simple fight between her parents. She doesn't even remember to this day what the fight had been about, but she does know that this is where the real problems started. After that fight, arguments started to occur more and more often. Kyle and her brothers simply attributed it to stress from work and daily life, but when day when a fight got out of hand, they knew that wasn't the situation.

After a terrible fight between the supposed happy couple, their mother left for good. Although she didn't go too far, it was a hard blow for the family that had only known an ideal lifestyle. Kyle found herself caught between two of the people she loved the most, and she wasn't sure how she would deal. She and her brothers found themselves bounced between their parents houses. Birthdays and other holidays that were supposed to be happy were spent apart from each other and feeling guilty for having to choose who to spend it with, seeing as their parents refused to even be in the same room. Even though the 5 children had eventually figured out a system to keep everyone fairly happy, things were, needless to say, never the same for the Leshen family.

To make the whole divorce situation even worse, at age 14, strange things began happening to Kyle. She found that sometimes when she felt strongly about something, fires would occur out of nowhere, with no explanation. She confided this with her mother one afternoon and found out about the history of witches in their family. The trait of magic skipped over many generations, so to be one was a rare thing, her mother was so proud. After the two talked for hours about her powers and what the world of magic was like, they came to the decision that this would stay between the two of them and Kyle's brothers; her father already hated her mother enough without knowing she was in a family of "freaks". From that day, Kyle continued to teach herself and hone her powers (with the help of her mother and their family's book of shadows). Eventually her powers went from not only creating fires, but being able to manipulate existing ones.

At age 18, Kyle was accepted in to McGill University where she is currently studying as an English Literature major, dreaming of becoming an author. Here at the school she attends classes as a normal student, studying and working at a cafe on campus, but also finds magic constantly popping in to her life. Demon fights seem to be a weekly event, and she's come to accept that magic is simply something she can't avoid. She tries to live her life as normally as possible, being with her friends and attending school, but sometimes it can be harder then it sounds.

Personality:

Sandy might seem a bit stuckup when you first meet her because she doesn't trust easily and only allows her true personality to be shown to people who have earned that trust. When she's in a room, most people don't even notice her, because she tends to be very, very quiet, watching rather than doing, always listening, always taking what she hears and putting it together with everything else she has heard and knows in order to help her fulfill her mission, a mission only she knows for sure. If your character wants to know anything else, they will have to gain her trust first!

Appearance:

Unlike most of the other characters, you wouldn't notice Sandy if she walked into a room. She's short, she's a bit pudgy and she wears thick glasses and keeps her hair in a bun. But she prefers it that way, because she prefers to just be in the background.

Onstage she uses a glamour spell to look taller and slimmer. She takes her thick dark hair down and also wears contacts. Few people know that Sandy Kelly and Cassandra the Magnificent are actually one and the same.

HISTORY

Sandy is the last of a long line of Celtic witches. She honors the Goddess and knows how to cast spells and make potions, but has no supernatural powers. Her mother, Alexandra Donovan, taught her the Craft. Her father, Maximillan Kelly, a magician who was known as Max the Magnificent, taught Sandy everything she knows about magic. She became his assistant when she was 16, and took over the act when Max and Alexandra were murdered when Sandy was 19. Whether this murder turned Sandy to the side of evil or she has stayed good, only she knows for sure. But since the murder, she has a mission that has put her directly into the middle of the upcoming battle.

Sandy has used her career as Cassandra the Magnificent in order to travel around the world, gathering information, and making her plans. She is in the midst of performing a number of shows at the university in Montreal.

Any other part of her history, your character will have to find out on his/her own!

Role-Play Sample As usual, Sandy stood near the back of the room, listening to everyone talking, putting everything that she heard together with all she'd heard and known. Yes, it does sound like Montreal is the best place to put my plan into action.

Hearing Jacob's words about Mena, her eyebrows raised. Now that could make things interesting! It could keep them from realizing what I'm doing. even as she began to work on a new spell to go with a very special potion.

Personality: Primrose is a strong, level headed, mature adolescent. Her fighting mentality means she goes into every situation with a positive attitude. Dedication and loyalty is important to her but she doesn't easily make friends because it takes her long time to trust people.

To most she would seem a friendly, easy going kind of a girl but she is always quite reserved and doesn't quickly allow people into a small group of friends. People she trusts mean the world to her and she'd give up her life for them.

Appearance: With straight blonde hair and beautifully sculpted, athletic, slim body, Primrose would strike most people as a dumb broad. Dumb, she isn't.

Rose as she likes to be called has pale, hazy, brown eyes which she uses to her advantage. She also uses her good looks to fool others and then pounces like a leopard if the situation calls for it.

History: Primrose was abandoned by her unstable, alcoholic mother shortly after the death of her father, over ten years ago. This has made it hard for Rose to trust people but people she does, she loves dearly; she would even give her life up for them.

Rose enjoys a good demonic scrap but innocents are always the priority - there life is more important than hers in her mind. Along with her powers she has good potion making skills but her spell writing has always lacked.

With her athletic background, Rose decided to take a Sport major - it keeps her fighting fit and also gives her other skills that she uses battle. Including flips, rolls and offensive tactics which she has adapted from her gymnastic skills she learned in high school.

can i just say, i find it slightly dissappointing that the RPG started and there was no chance for me to change my bio, even though it has been posted for over a week.

where do i post my bio now? i see it has been deleted off here, and i can't even remember exactly what i wrote.

so i don't know how my powers can be changed....i never saw her as a major threat.

she did not have 5 or 6 powers. she only had the power to steal powers AFTER the witch has completed her task from their OWN will (her ability to manipulate the witch is not a magical power), the power to shimmer, and energy balls (like any other demon)
NB: the power that she steals is NEVER as powerful as it was with the witch who she stole it from.

she was supposed to have demons coming after her, too! do i just post it another bio here?
i did say in the bio that she had been massively weakened by the last battle.

i would have loved to join, this would have been my first rpg, but i guess it is not to be!

thank you for your feedback. it makes it alot easier to change my character yo fit into the RPG, if i know what needs changing! i was at a loss as to why i was declined, and was disappointed. i apologize if it came across as angry, as rocker thought it did.

yes this will be my first official rpg. (i've done some impromptu here and there.....no rules apply!) i have no idea what a mary sue is!

i completely agree, about not everyone liking her. that statement maybe should have been rewritten as "from the outside it seems she is a girls best friend, etc, however, looks can be deceiving." it was more, getting across that she is a social climber- it is part of her manipulative personality. she befriends people, (including her victim) to get her own way. whether she is successful at befriending is up to the other RPGamer.

Sorry but no, you can't have every single demon not be able to know who she is or recognize her. She is not invincible in that sense. There are other demons more powerful than she is, therefore they can break through any cloaking spells, charms she may use. First of all that is called power playing saying that nobody can break through it. Sure she may be a gifted cloaker, but not that powerful.


she cloaks herself not because she is the all powerful source of evil with 100 evil minions. that is not the case

she cloaks herself in the underworld as a defense mechanism. as you can imagine....she would be very attractive to bounty hunters who want to steal her powers. she is constantly under threat from being found by bounty hunters. the only real defense against them is that they do not know her identity. if they do finally discover her appearance and identity, then she is almost powerless against a higher level hunter or witch (if good discovers her) (as fireballs are not always a fantastic attack, as we know!)

really, the only demons she can kill is the minions, and lower level scum demons. if a stronger demon discovers her....she is toast.
