Author note: As advised by a wise one, I have decided to inform you that this Fanfic is actually a sequel to my original fic: Coles Pain at Christmas which you can find under this link: thecharmedcafe.proboards40.com/index.cgi?board=alternativerealityfanfics&action=display&thread=5428Im not very technically minded, therefore I couldnt edit it, though you can find it there... Enjoy! Cole looked up as Phoebe came crashing through the door. “What’s up?” He asked her inquisitively. He studied her face. He saw a mixture of confusion, hate and hurt in there. “Coop” She replied shortly. “Oh” He replied. He put down his notes and walked towards Phoebe. She pushed him away. “No Cole, Im not in the mood.” Phoebe told him. He turned around and walked back to his desk. He knew better than to mess with Phoebe when she was in a foul mood. “What has he done?” Cole asked. “Well, its just emotional stuff really!” Phoebe cried. Cole felt himself flaring up. “What do you mean?!” Cole asked. He again walked over to Phoebe and looked into her eyes. He knew that if he looked closely enough he could see what she was thinking. “He says that he still loves me and wants me to reconsider my decision to take you back” Phoebe blurted out, and immediately regretted it as Cole stood up and started fuming. “How dare he?” He muttered. “And what did you say?” Cole asked her. “What do you think I said Cole?” Phoebe snapped at him. He walked up to her and held her. “I know, I know.” “It is unfair.” Phoebe reasoned. “I mean, I know I was unhappy, but the way I just dropped us getting back together on him, was slightly unexpected.” “Obviously it was, you didn’t plan for me to come back, and for you to realise how much you still loved me!” Cole replied. He didn’t like conversations like this. The couple had had a few of them since they got back together four months earlier. “It has only been four months, I can’t expect him to be over me by now!” Phoebe said. “I just, I don’t know what to do about it.” Phoebe flopped down on the sofa, defeated. “Its not even grounds for divorce though is it?!” She cried. “Oh, my supposed dead husband came back and I realised I still loved him! How would that look to the Judge?!” She asked him. “Well… Not so good!” Cole reasoned. “I’m going to bed.” Phoebe informed Cole as she leant forwards and kissed him. “Night…” Cole said as he watched her escape to their bedroom. Cole walked over to his notes and once again sat himself down. He sighed and thought deeply. He had come a long way in the past four months. He had gotten Phoebe back, cleared his name, gotten himself another job as a Lawyer and even proposed to Phoebe again. He looked up again and watched as Phoebe pottered into the kitchen for some water, and then back into the bedroom. Cole smiled weakly. I wish she didn’t have to go through this, he thought. There’s nothing I can do about it though! He continued to think. Cole had a quick flash back to his demon days. He quickly shook any memories out of his head, and scolded himself. He had had a few over the past couple of weeks, and didn’t want it. Though he did notice that he did feel some thrill behind the memories. He once again scolded himself and continued to look through his notes on the current case he was trying to solve. To any other it was an open and shut case, but Cole knew otherwise. He read the top line “Victim – female, young. Vanessa Colton. Stab wounds to the abdomen from what appears to be a curved knife. Accused – male, young. Ramone Klint. Known to victim, found with said knife covered in victims blood” Cole sighed. Ramone Klint was a name he had heard several times in the past amongst his demon friends. Was an alias of a very powerful demon. What Cole thought was strange is that the accused hadn’t broken out of prison, after all, he was a demon after all. He looked at the picture of the accused and felt nothing but hate. Im going to have to talk to him, Cole thought to himself. But not yet. He looked at the time and yawned. “12.34!” He exclaimed. Its gotten late quickly! He thought. He tidied up a little and then walked into the bedroom. He undressed and climbed into bed next to a sound sleeping Phoebe. He wrapped his arm around her, and felt her heart beating. He felt elated. After the months that had passed, he still couldn’t believe that everything was working out for him. All he had to get sorted was pesky Coop.

Cole woke the next day. Put his arm down on the bed and felt a sense of deja-vu. “Phoebe?” He called. “Yeah!” He heard a reply. He felt relieved as Phoebe walked out of the bathroom, brushing her teeth. She smiled at him and then walked back into the bathroom again. He got out of bed and walked after her, transfixed by her beauty and grace, even this early in the morning. “Cole?” She started. Phoebe turned round and looked at her fiancé. She had a troubled look on her face. “Yes” He replied. Hoping for good news. “We have to get something sorted out with Coop.” Phoebe told him. His heart sank. Do we have to talk about him so early? He thought to himself. “I know” He replied again. “Don’t” Phoebe told him. He looked at her. She was staring at him, her eyebrow raised, waiting for his reply. “Well, Phoebe, what do you expect? You go to sleep moaning about Coop, and you wake up moaning about him too! I just want some time for the two of us to think about our future!” Cole campaigned. “There’s nothing we can do about our future until we get it sorted Cole!” Phoebe explained as she walked out of the bathroom. Cole stood there for a bit, sulking that things always had to be about Coop. He was disturbed by Phoebe dragging him out a couple minutes later, and playfully pushing him onto the bed. “I love you baby, you know that, its just, before I can relax, I need this sorted! Its for your good too!” Phoebe told him. She kissed him and he embraced her for a while. He knew she was right, he just didn’t want to admit it. “What are you upto today?” Phoebe asked him, as she got changed. Cole sighed, and as he didn’t want to panic Phoebe just explained that he was going to see a guilty man. Phoebe giggled and turned round to him. “Im so glad you have gotten back into the thing you love!” She gushed at him. “And to think its down to Darryl putting in a good word for me!” Cole said as he also got changed. He couldn’t believe that someone who had hated him had come to respect him and get him a job. “At least some people put things behind them” He said. Phoebe stopped and looked at him. “You know Coop is trying” She said. “No, for once I don’t mean Coop.” He explained. “I meant Paige!” Phoebe nodded, and shrugged. “I think that one is going to take a while yet Cole.” “I said I was sorry!” Cole protested. Phoebe looked at him, and raised her eyebrow again. “You really think any amount of apologies are going to make my sister forgive you for kidnapping her and making her give birth in the underworld?” Phoebe asked him. “I mean, she didn’t even forgive you for trying to come back again, she is definitely not going to forgive you for this one soon enough” She reasoned. “Yeah, well I have forgiven her for all her petty insistence” Cole sulked again, playfully though. “Well, don’t you forget that we are having a family meal tonight, and that you have to be on your best behaviour. For Piper, if for no one else.” “And she is another that doesn’t forgive easily either…” Cole carried on ranting for a little while longer, unaware that Phoebe was stood staring transfixed out of the window. Cole stopped a couple minutes later, realising that she wasn’t answering any of his questions. “Phoebe?” he called. Not getting any answer, he walked over to her, and wrapped his arms around her waist. She still didn’t respond. “Phoebe?” He whispered into her ear. He followed her eyes and looked out on to the street. “What the…” He started as he looked out. “He is going to be sorry!” Cole fumed and stormed out of the apartment, closely followed by Phoebe. “Cole, Cole calm down!” She cried as she followed him down the foyer of the apartment block. “Hey!” Cole shouted. The person jumped and turned around. “Cole!” Phoebe called again. “Oh, its you!” It was Coop. “What the hell do you think you are doing?!” Cole demanded of him. “Well, I’m obviously singing” Coop stated. “I know that Phoebe loved that about me!” He said and turned to look at Phoebe, who in turn blushed. Cole looked at his fiancée and scowled. Phoebe immediately stopped smiling and tried to look serious. “Why?” Cole asked Coop. “I believe that my love for Phoebe is pure. I believe that all she needs is just a little nudge to realise that its me she wants.” Cole was speechless as he just stood there. “But, you… you… Argh!” He growled. Coop backed away. “Wow Cole, you look like you’re getting a bit angry there!” Coop teased. Cole couldn’t believe what he was hearing. He looked at Phoebe, then looked at Coop again. Suddenly he launched forwards and had Coop in a head lock. “Cole! Cole! Seriously! Come on!” Phoebe cried. Cole continued to drag Coop round in circles, not even bothering to notice the crowd gathering round him. He finally gave in and let Coop go, as the crowd cheered. Cole looked up, a little bit embarrassed and watched as Phoebe stormed back into the apartment block. “You, me, its not over!” Cole said to Coop, pointing from his eyes back to Coops continuously. “May the best guy win!” Coop called after Cole. Cole turned round and put one foot towards Coop, and laughed as he backed off. He ran after Phoebe and caught up with her back in the apartment. “What were you thinking of?!” Phoebe cried as Cole walked in. “Well, at least I didn’t set Belthazar loose on him!” Cole said to her. Phoebe tutted and continued to scold him. “You were both acting like twelve year old boys!” She told him. She stopped and looked at him. They stared at each other for a couple seconds before bursting into laughter. “No, this is not a laughing matter!” Phoebe said as she tried keeping a straight face. “Poor Coop!” She sympathised. “Poor Coop?!” Cole repeated. “He was putting on a pretty good fight too!” He defended himself. “Cole, the guy is a Cupid, they’re even bigger pacifists than White-lighters!” Phoebe laughed. “Do you love me?” Cole asked, turning serious. “Yes.” Phoebe answered quickly. “Do you love Coop?” He asked her again. Phoebe took a while to answer. “Im not going to lie to you Cole, I do love him. But Im not in love with him, not anymore. We don’t have the connection that you and I have. Its just not the same and I cant figure out what it was that we had originally.” Phoebe informed him. Cole nodded. He understood, though it didn’t mean that he liked it. “Anyways I have to go to work now” Phoebe informed him. “San Francisco needs my column!” She laughed as she went to kiss Cole. He took the kiss but didn’t put much effort into one back. Cole was worried, very worried. He was again suffering from thrills and memories of his demon life.

LOVE it, Sammi!! Absolutely love it!! Thank you SOOO much for writing a sequel to your fantastically wonderful fanfic, "Cole's Pain at Christmas" that can answer some of the questions left unanswered in the other one. I'm glad that your Phoebe isn't the sl*t of the latter seasons, who would've just dropped Coop without another thought. That's what bothered me about the way she treated him in C'sPaC. Then I would've thought that she truly just thought of him as a sperm donor for her kids and nothing else, just like she did in S7 & S8 when I had no respect for her at all. I liked and had respect for her during your fic until I saw how she treated Coop. Thanks for letting me like and respect her again. I'm so glad she knows the difference between being in love and loving. How much fun did you have writing that fight between Cole and Coop?? I was expecting Phoebe to swat both of them! But just so *so* typical males! And I loved you having Coop sing to her, since she did indeed love that. Then there's the question of how will Cole get along with Paige and Piper at the family dinner. Can't wait to see how that goes!! AND Cole and his case, including the accused who's actually a demon. After seeing what you pulled on Cole with BARBAS can't wait to see what you do with an original demon!! My only suggestion is a technical one. I'd suggest adding an Author's Note at the beginning letting people know that it's a sequel to (and here make a link) C'sPaC. And at the end of C's PaC be sure to add an Author's Note letting people know that there's a sequel and make a link to this one. Thanks again for writing this and please update soon! And for this, it's back to the to-be-blessed list for you! PS. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Ohh Yay! A sequel.. How fantastic! Oh and what a great start to the fanfic! Yeah I agree with Es, It was a bit harsh they way she just ended the relationship with Coop in C'sPaC but this *hopefully* will put a better closure on the situation! I so hope that Phoebe stays with Cole though! She says she is in love with Cole and only loves Coop but will that last? With the serenading and all who knows what can happen..he is a cupid after all?
Oh and yes the family dinner, I wonder how that will pan out?? Any family fueding going to happen? Hope not, I wan't Paige to forgive Cole and them all to get along, lol it wouldnt be much of a story with my ideas though lol, I'll just stick to reviewing shall I? Haha ok well I love this start to the sequel and can not wait for the next update. Hopefully it will be soon!

Cole walked in to his office and looked around. He took a seat and sat for a few minutes thinking about the case. “Mr. Turner?” He heard someone call him. He looked up and saw a young woman walking into his office. He was immediately taken back by her beauty. He shook his head. “Yes” Cole replied. Curious to know who she was. “I was told that you had just come in. I’m the sister of Vanessa Colton. Lyndsey.” She explained. Cole jumped up and walked over to her. “I am very sorry for your loss” He said to her. She shook his hand and smiled. “I am too.” “Take a seat” Cole insisted, and watched as she sat down. She had the most beautiful legs! He thought to himself again. He again shook his head in an attempt to get rid of these thoughts. “How can I help?” He asked her. Curious to know why she had come to see him. “Well, its how I can help you” Lyndsey said as she leant forwards and gave him a cheeky smile. Cole looked at her, not believing what he was hearing. “Whats that supposed to mean?” He asked her. “I mean that I know some things that may help towards the case” She said as she sat back in the chair again. Cole gave an awkward laugh and also relaxed a little bit more. “Ok, and whats the information?” Cole asked her. He was curious, very curious. “I know that Vanessa was involved in something… Something different” Lyndsey started. Cole didn’t like this conversation very much. “How do you mean different?” He asked her, trying to sound innocent, though given the facts of the case, he probably knew where it was headed. “Vanessa had always been one for cults” Lyndsey started. Yeah, Cole thought, this is what I thought. “She always thought that magic was real, and practised it as much as she could. One day she came home with a guy. I could never put my finger on it, but he was different to guys. This was about 3 months ago.” She was explaining to Cole as he thought, and put two and two together. “They argued all the time, and then the other night, she called me saying that Ramone had been doing some kind of ritual in her room” Lyndsey continued to explain. “Next thing I knew, the police were round explaining that Vanessa had been found dead!” She sniffled. Cole stood up and walked round to her, and knelt down next to her. He looked into her eyes and saw something very familiar. “I am sorry to hear this, and I promise that I will get justice for your sister.” Cole said to her. “That’s just the thing…” Lyndsey left the sentence open. Cole stood back up, and backed away a bit as he saw her eyes flash red. “Whats going on?” He asked as Lyndsey stood up and walked towards him. “Cole Turner… Belthazar… I don’t want justice for her… She was such an annoyance to my practice of dark magic… I know you understand my problem…” She said as she pushed him against the wall. Cole didn’t know what to do. How did she know he was Belthazar? He began to panic. “Just WHAT do you think you are doing?” He gasped as he pushed her away. “Belthazar, I need you to let Ramone go.” Lyndsey demanded. “Who is Belthazar?” Cole asked trying to act innocently. It wasn’t convincing, meaning that it wasn’t working on her. Lyndsey laughed and walked around to her side of the desk again. “I see you’re trying to turn good again?” She asked Cole as she picked up her bag. Cole groaned. He couldn’t deal with all this so soon after his ordeal with Barbus. “I will see you next week at the trial…” She walked back to him, and kissed him on the lips. Cole backed off immediately, feeling his lips fire up. He watched as she walked out of his office, and slid down the wall. Cole touched his lips, they felt like they were on fire. What had just happened? He asked himself. A beautiful woman had literally just confessed to being evil, and kissed me… This cant be happening to me! He thought desperately. “Cole?” He jumped, and stood up. “Paige!” He exclaimed, as he shook the dust off his suit and straightened himself out. “Phoebe said you were in the office today… Who was that woman?” She asked him suspiciously as she watched him sit down. Where do I start? Cole thought. He looked at Paige who had brought Henry Junior with her. “Just a witness for the case Im working on!” Cole lied defensively. “How can I help?” He asked her. Every time Paige visited unexpectedly, it meant bad news. “I had a visit from Coop this morning.” Paige started. Cole tutted and rolled his eyes. “Hey, don’t tut, you don’t know what Im going to say. I mean, for once, I actually stood up for you!” Paige exclaimed, and then realised what she had. “I stood up for you! What was I thinking?!” Paige repeated, disgusted. “He wanted to know how to get Phoebe back, so I would be warned if I were you” Paige told him. “What do you mean, be warned?” Cole asked, looking at her surprised. “Coop wouldn’t do anything to me would he?” Paige laughed. “No Cole. He is Cupid, you are a demon-” “Was a demon” “Oh stop splitting hairs, you still have powers” Paige demanded. “Anyways, its only been four months, anything could happen.” Cole stood up and walked over to Paige menacingly. “Why wont you give me a chance dammit?” He asked her. He was infuriated that even though he was trying every day to try and please everyone, Paige still wasn’t giving him any chances. “You know what Cole, I wish I hadn’t stuck up for you. I actually told Coop not to ruin Phoebe’s chances with you!” Paige said as she took the pram and turned round to walk out. “Looks like I should have just left well enough alone, and let the master of love get Phoebe back successfully hey?” Paige griped and walked out of his office. Cole walked after her and watched as she got into the lift. He roared and slammed his office doors closed. He had a flash back to when he killed a witch in his old office… What if I did something like that- NO!! He told himself. Belthazar is staying firmly under control! He demanded.

Oooh, this is very interesting, Sammi! I love how the victim's sister is an evil witch(?) and how she wants the demon let off. Very nice twist there. And poor Cole, looks like he's gonna have a tough time keeping Belthazor under control. Absolutely brilliant work!

Wow, Sammi. This is good. You are doing a good job with Cole and Coop. I'm glad. And this is interesting about the victims sister. I hope that no matter what happens, Cole manages to not give in to evil, again. I mean if he's going to be in trouble or pain, let it be while he is being good. Let him prove that he can do this. I don't know how this story will end up, but I hope that Cole stays good.

WOW, Sammi! Absolutely WOW! Between you and PCP, you're really letting us see the differences between Coop and Cole and why Phoebe has such a difficult decision between the two of them! Funny. In PCP's fic, I'm rooting for Coop..he truly loves Phoebe and wants what's best for her, not what's best for him! In yours, I'm rooting for Cole..Coop asking Paige how to win Phoebe back rather than feeling it in his heart told me that. Cole has shown us that he truly wants what's best for Phoebe when he almost walked away. And he's battling Belthazar; Coop isn't. Speaking of Belthazar, oh, do I love your original character! She *truly* had me fooled! When her eyes went red and she said how she hated her sister for getting in the way of her black magic! WOW!! And then there's my favorite character! Paige! Oh, I love the way you write her! I get *such* a kick out of her! She's not exactly like Paige on the show, but she's SOOO much better!! I have one minor suggestion, sweetie--another one of those "technical things". When you switch characters, start a new paragraph. Saying what happens to that person at the end of one paragraph, then saying what that person says in the next one is a bit jarring, and if you did that, you wouldn't have to use the character's name as much. Here's an example; the beginning of this chapter rewritten: Cole walked in to his office and looked around. He took a seat and sat for a few minutes thinking about the case.
“Mr. Turner?”
He looked up and saw a young woman walking into his office. He was immediately taken back by her beauty. He shook his head. “Yes?” he asked, surious to know who she was.
“I was told that you had just come in. I’m the sister of Vanessa Colton. Lyndsey.”
Cole jumped up and walked over to her. “I am very sorry for your loss.”
She shook his hand and smiled. “I am too.” Do you see the difference? As always, it's your fic, so it's up to you. This is just a suggestion, hoping to help you become an even *better* writer than you already are. If you weren't already on my "To Be Blessed" list, oh, would you be there now!! Can't WAIT to find out what happens!! Please update soon!

My oh My! What am amazing fic! I love it! Poor Cole, he just can't win can he! I wonder whether Paige saw Lyndsey kiss Cole on the lips? I think he should of tried to explain himself to Paige right then and there tell her that Lyndsey is indeed into Dark Magic and asking for her help etc, because now I can just see something going wrong with him and Pheebs and Paige will bring that scene up or something in regards to that! Ohh my poor Cole I absolutely love this fic! It's great and I can't wait for the next part, so please update again soon!!

Cole packed up his notes, struggling a little bit because he couldn’t stop his hands from shaking, and then walked out of his office telling his secretary to not bother him throughout the day with anything slightly important. Cole felt like he was on a mission, there was nothing he could do except go and see Ramone and demand to know what was happening. He arrived at the State prison, and met a cold stone hearted guy behind bars. “Ramone Klint?” Cole asked the guy. “That’s me” Came the reply. Cole looked in through the bars carefully. He saw a young man. Covered in wounds and dirt, this man looked like he was capable of absolutely anything, and as Cole knew, this was the case. “What do you want? Are you my new lawyer?” The guy asked Cole aggressively. “No, not quite” Cole replied. He was curious to know why the guy was here, and was not using his powers to break out. “My name is Cole Turner. Im the prosecution” He informed the demon. It felt strange introducing himself like that when he knew that the demon was used to him as Belthazar and not as a human. “Oh great, someone else to quiz me no end.” The guy said as he walked back in his cell and sat down. “What was the motivation?” Cole asked, getting straight to the point. “It wasn’t me! And I stand by that!” The guy protested. “Then how do you explain the over whelming evidence against you?” Cole asked Ramone. “I explain it by saying that I was set up, and that’s all Im saying” Cole laughed. Ramone glared at him. “Im sorry, Im sorry. I just want to know, you have had what? Two, maybe three centuries to think up a story for when you get caught out by police, and you tell me you were set up, and that’s it?!” Cole mocked him. “What the hell…?” Ramone asked. He stared at Cole in bemusement. “I know who you are Ramone.” Cole told him. “And what I want to know is, why haven’t you broken out of here yet?” Cole asked him. “I don’t know what you mean, Im in here for a criminal offence, for killing some little woman. Nothing else!” Ramone protested. Cole looked around and looked for any camera’s near by. He couldn’t see any, so quickly morphed into Belthazar. Ramone stumbled to the back of his cell in shock. Cole turned back into human form, and straightened his jacket. “What the hell was that dude?” Ramone asked, convincingly flabbergasted by Coles change in appearance. “Oh give it up, you know who I am!” Cole exclaimed, getting frustrated that the ex demon wouldn’t give up the charade of being a cruel criminal and nothing more. Ramone took a step forwards to Cole. He looked deep into his eyes, and tried to analyse Cole. “Why are you here?” Ramone asked him. “I told you, Im the prosecution.” Cole once again informed him. Ramone laughed and sat down on his bed. “I cant talk with you on that side of the bars. Come in here.” Ramone asked him. Cole raised his eyebrows. “You really think Im falling for that one?” Cole asked him. Im not stupid! Cole thought to himself. Well, maybe just a little bit, he reasoned. “What are you worried about?” Ramone asked him. “Its not as if anything I do would phase you anyways” He said. Cole looked around and saw a guard. “Hey!” He shouted to the officer. “Whats up?” Came the reply. “Could you open the bars? I need to go in there for a second.” Cole informed the guard. “No way! I cant let you in there!” The guard told Cole. Cole rolled his eyes and flicked his hand. The officer stood up and walked over to Cole and unlocked the cell. “Thank you very much officer!” Cole gushed, and walked inside the cell. Ramone sat down on his bed, and watched as Cole walked over and sat on the chair at the other side of the cell. “So…” Ramone started. “So…” Cole also added. He didn’t know where to start, so he started with the most obvious question. “Why haven’t you broken out yet?” He asked the criminal. Ramone gave a short laugh. “And how would you expect me to do that?” He asked Cole, as if the answer was obvious. “Well, I thought your powers of manipulation would have helped before now.” Cole said, trying to lead Ramone into telling him the truth. “My powers of manipulation… Ha!” Ramone laughed again mockingly. Cole narrowed his eyes, which shut Ramone up instantly. He knew differently than winding up a powerful demon. “They were banished by the little witch” Ramone informed Cole. Cole shook his head. “What?” Ramone asked. “I find it funny that a demon of your standing and powers would have fallen for a simple witches plans.” Cole informed him. Ramone stood up menacingly, and walked over to Cole. Cole stood up too and squared up to him, making Ramone back down quickly. Cole nodded and sat back down. “Its not as simple as that” Ramone started to explain. Cole got comfy, and awaited the story that would follow. “Basically, I fell in love with Vanessa.” Ramone finished. Cole felt his eyes widen. “And she wanted me to give up my powers so we could truly be together. I didn’t want to, we fell out. I then fell in love with her sister Lyndsey.” Cole let his head fall back as he felt everything click into place. “When Vanessa found out that I had fallen for her evil sister, she said that she was going to get rid of my powers. I dunno as some kind of revenge or something.” Ramone continued to explain. “Lyndsey found out, and took my powers instead, and then so her sister wouldn’t get in the way again, used them against me. I had no choice but to kill Vanessa.” Ramone broke down crying. Cole couldn’t help but feel a bit of sympathy, after all he slightly knew what Ramone was going through. Cole felt a feeling of deja-vu as he thought back to when he had used the line: “I thought my family were screwed up!” and thought it could be used brilliantly here, but decided against saying that. Ramone stood up and walked towards Cole. “I need your help to get out of here!” He pleaded with Cole. “I cant do that! Im a good guy now!” Cole tried to convince him, as well as re-affirming it with himself. Ramone laughed. “If I know you Belthazar, it is Belthazar right? I forget” Cole nodded. “You will never be the good guy, even though you will keep trying, it happened with me!” Ramone teased Cole. “I’m nothing like you” Cole growled. “Belthazar, help me escape, and I can help you too!” Ramone said as he moved closer to Cole. “And how do you think you would be able to help me?” Cole asked intrigued at the offer that was being placed before him. “Well, manipulation isn’t the only power that I possess. I have the ability to read a persons thoughts. Unfortunately, I cannot influence them, as I have been trying for decades, but I can tell you that you are struggling personally.” Ramone started babbling at Cole. Cole took a step back, feeling slightly invaded. “Get out of my mind!” Cole protested. Ramone laughed. “So, you’re telling me that you don’t wish that there was a magical solution for your marital problems?” Ramone asked, enticing Cole. “I think its time for me to leave now. Thank you for your time, and I will see you at the trail!” Cole tried to close up. “No!” Ramone called after him. “Belthazar, you have to help me! Its an injustice!” Ramone continued to cry out. Cole locked the cell behind him, and walked away. “Just think about it!” He heard Ramone call up the corridor. Cole loosened his tie and walked out of the prison. When he got back to his car, he sat and thought for a couple minutes about everything that had just happened. He sighed. “Why isn’t everything ever simple?” He muttered as he sat forward. Once again he was left thinking about the overwhelming desire to be Belthazar, and how good it had felt when he had morphed into him back in the prison. Cole shook his head, and turned the key in the ignition. “Just go home to Phoebe!” He told himself. “Everything will be ok there!”

As Cole arrived at the Manor, he stayed in his car for a little bit. He sat back, and took a breath. This is what he dreaded. He loved spending time with Phoebe, but he knew that everything else with the family always ended in disaster. Especially after Christmas. He sighed, took the key out of the ignition, and climbed out of the car. He locked it, turned around and was face to face with Lyndsey Colton. “Jesus woman!” Cole exclaimed. He took a look at her, and was again struck by her beauty. He shook his head. What on earth happens when this woman is around?! He thought to himself. “Have you thought anymore about letting Ramone go?” She asked him. “No” Cole answered bluntly. “I’m not letting him go, he is a cold hearted murderer!” Cole exclaimed. Lyndsey’s eyes flashed red again. Cole took a step back and walked into his car. “If you just let him go, everything will be ok!” Lyndsey told him as she walked up to him. Once again she leant forwards and kissed him on his lips, and once again Cole felt the familiar burning, searing painful sensation he had felt earlier on in the day. He pushed her away. “Just what do you think you’re doing?!” Cole asked as she fell backwards on to the pavement. “Why wont it work with you?” Lyndsey cried, frustrated. “Why wont what work?” Cole asked. He looked up at the Manor to make sure that no body was watching. The last thing he wanted was for Paige to see him with the same woman again. “Never mind! Just let him go! I love him!” Lyndsey cried. Cole was disgusted. “You manipulated him to kill your sister.” He spat at her. Lyndsey stood up and lurched towards Cole too quickly for Cole to be able to back away. “You let him go or you WILL be sorry!” Lyndsey threatened. She went to strangle him, but there was a cry from in front of them. Coles stomach dropped. “You just get your hands off him, right now!” Cole rolled his eyes. Paige came tottering down the front steps to the Manor. “Just what are you doing?” Paige asked Cole, her nostrils flaring. “I… I… She started it!” Cole stuttered backing away from both the women. Paige turned on to Lyndsey. “You do know he is with my sister, right?!” Paige exclaimed to the evil witch. “I don’t see a ring!” Lyndsey replied, acting innocently. “Well.. You just… Just go!” Paige yelled at her. Cole thought it couldn’t get any worse right now, Lyndsey shimmered out. Paige turned round and started on Cole. As she walked forwards, he walked back. “What was that?” Paige asked. As if it wasn’t obvious. “Paige, I don’t know! She just appeared and started hassling me!” Cole campaigned. Paige walked a little faster. “Didn’t look that way to me. She was the one I saw in your office this morning!” “Don’t mess things up with my sister again. I’m looking for an excuse Cole. Just one excuse to vanquish your sorry as$!” Paige poked him in the chest and he stumbled over the curb onto the road. Paige walked up to him and looked over. “Don’t hurt Phoebe again Cole.” She warned and walked back in to the Manor. Cole stood up and brushed himself off. He looked around, embarrassed that anyone could have seen him getting pushed by a female. Cole gathered his thoughts, and walked slowly up to the Manor. “Don’t say anything Paige!” He mumbled to himself.

Cole took a deep breath and walked into the Manor. As he did Paige walked out of the living room, looked at him and shook her head. Cole rolled his eyes and gave her a fake smile, and continued to walk through the Manor, looking cautiously round each corner, expecting something to come flying at him when Paige had told Phoebe. To his surprise this didn’t happen. “Cole!” He heard someone call. He spun round and saw Paige. “Yes Paige.” He said as politely as he could through gritted teeth. “Don’t say anything to Phoebe” She demanded. Cole was quite taken aback that she was telling him not to say anything, when technically it should be the other way round. “That’s fine by me.” Cole told her. Just as it looked like Paige was about to say something else, Henry Junior started crying so she ran off to comfort her son. Cole took another deep breath, and continued to walk through downstairs. He could hear giggling somewhere in the background, and curious to find out where it was coming from, he walked round into the sunroom. He saw Phoebe and smiled. “There you are…” Cole started. He looked around the sunroom fully, and saw that there was someone else there who wasn’t supposed to be. “Oh, hi there Cole!” They greeted him, happily. Cole slowly placed down his briefcase, and took his jacket off. Phoebe could see that something was going to blow up, and walked up to Cole. “Don’t be mad!” She begged. She placed her hands on Cole’s chest, and leant up to kiss him. This calmed him down a little bit, but he was still fuming. There was a cough in the background. “Im still here!” Cole looked up and was again greeted with an unpleasant image. “What are you doing here?” Cole sneered. “Well, I popped by to see Phoebe…” Coop left the sentence hanging. Cole once again lunged forwards and attempted to jump on Coop again, but Phoebe stopped him. “Cole, no!” She warned. Her eyes flashed and he knew that he had to behave himself. “Cupid-” “Coop, please!” Coop interrupted. Coop smirked, and looked Cole right in the eyes. “Why are you here?” Cole asked again. “I missed Phoebe, and I wanted to see her” Coop answered. “Well, talk about honesty” Cole said. He looked at Phoebe, who was smiling at Coop, and then looked back at Coop who was smiling at Phoebe. He again gritted his teeth. “Yes, which is a trait in which you don’t have, isn’t it Cole?” Coop sneered. “Oh no you did not!” Cole yelled. “Cole! Calm down!” Phoebe shouted, and once again placed her hands on his chest. Cole again looked at Coop, and it was his time to smirk as Coop looked on jealously. “What’s the matter Coop? Jealous?” Cole asked. He couldn’t help himself, and watched as Coop blushed. “No” Coop sniped. “Hey… Whats going on in here?” Piper walked into the room, and was stared at by three sets of eyes. “Oh… Ill erm… Ill just go and carry on with the dinner then” Piper stammered as she walked back out of the sunroom and into the kitchen. “Can I trust you guys to stay in here and act all grown up, while I talk to Piper for a couple minutes?” Phoebe asked them. Cole looked at Coop, who was in turn looking him. “I will if he does!” Cole started. Phoebe tutted, rolled her eyes and walked out of the room. “Why do you insist on coming up with ideas on trying to get Phoebe back?” Cole asked. He walked right up to Coop, and looked him right in the eyes. “You don’t beat about the bush, do you?” Coop asked him. “No.” Cole replied, shortly. “You don’t deserve Phoebe. You’ve screwed up too many times, and you’re still messing around with demons!” Coop burst out. “I am not!” Cole replied defiantly. Coop continued to rant at Cole, not noticing that Lyndsey had shimmered in behind him. Cole’s eyes widened, and he sighed. “What?” Coop asked. “Nothing” Cole brushed it off. Coop continued to talk, and Cole pretended to listen as he watched what the evil witch was doing. “… And you just stand there looking aimlessly as if you don’t even care!” Cole tuned into the rant. “I do care. Phoebe is with me now!” Cole growled. “Iv just about had enough of this. Its tearing Phoebe apart!” Cole cried at Coop. Lyndsey signalled to Cole. He shook his head. Coop turned around to have a look at what was going on. He couldn’t see anyone so turned back to Cole. “What the…?” Coop didn’t have chance to finish the sentence as he was hit in the chest with a fireball. “Argh!” Cole cried at Lyndsey. “What did you do that for?” He asked her. Phoebe came walking into the room, just as Lyndsey shimmered out and winked at Cole.

Cole jumped round. “Where did Coop go?” Phoebe asked him. Cole shrugged and shook his head. “I… I honestly don’t know!” Cole replied. He could feel Phoebe watching him closely. “What, he just left?” Phoebe asked again, looking very suspicious. “Yeah” Cole replied. He walked over to a seat and sat down cautiously. He wasn’t quite sure what had just happened, but he did know that he had to get his thoughts gathered quickly! “Well, that’s not like him!” Phoebe said as she walked towards Cole and sat down next to him. Cole felt uncomfortable being next to her. He didn’t want to be this close when he knew that anything could happen in the next couple of minutes. To his relief Phoebe stood up again. “Its just strange!” She exclaimed. Cole felt himself getting annoyed. “Why are you so bothered about it?” He growled at her. This is what bothered him the most. “You have split up, and yet, its like you’re still together. He was always near you when he thought that I wasn’t around, or worse, would try and woo you when I was!” Cole took a deep breath. He stood up and started pacing around the room. He knew that Phoebe was watching him, and he knew that he couldn’t let anything slip right now. He clenched his fists as he continued to pace round. He didn’t know why he was this angry. He did put some of it down to frustration, but some of it, he couldn’t put his finger on. “Why are you so angry?” Phoebe asked, as if she could read his mind. Cole let out a moan, and flopped back down onto another seat. His head was all over the place. He had just watched some evil being, kill the love of his life’s ex husband. He knew there had to be repercussions. This is why he was so angry. He again shook his head. “I don’t know Phoebe!” Cole answered her. There was an element of truth behind it, after all! He thought. He watched as Phoebe came and sat down next to him again. “Are you worried that Ill go back to him?” Phoebe asked Cole. She got up and bent down in front of him. Struggling to look into his eyes, she lifted his head up with her hand and kissed him. “Well, no” Cole replied after they had finished. Truthfully, he didn’t need to worry about it now. “Im going upstairs for a bit” Cole told Phoebe. He stood up so quickly that the shock pushed Phoebe back and she hit her head on the table. “Oh” Cole started. He walked over to Phoebe and helped her up. “Im sorry” He told her. It was the truth. He was. For everything. “I know, it was an accident. You go to bed for a bit” Phoebe told him. Cole checked her over, sighed and walked into the kitchen. “Can you keep an eye on Phoebe, she just banged her head” Cole told Piper. Piper looked at him. “What happened?” She asked him. “Oh, she fell backwards and banged… her… head. What are you doing in here?” He asked Piper as he looked round the kitchen. “Oh this… Im making a potion for Phoebe.” Piper brushed off as if it was an innocent thing. “Making a potion? What for?” Cole asked her, intrigued at what the eldest was brewing up now. “She asked me for help, for… Coop” She finished. “Isnt that kind of personal gain?” Cole asked suspiciously. “Yes and no” Piper answered shortly. “Im not saying anymore, you already know too much” Piper told Cole. “Ok! If you need me, Ill be upstairs…” Cole told her. Piper brushed it off, and he shook his head as he walked upstairs. He collapsed onto the spare bed, and turned over to look at the ceiling. “What am I going to do?” He mumbled to himself. “A witch just killed my love rival” He spoke out loud, surprised by what he had said. “Why am I surprised? Nothing ever goes right…” Cole stopped as he realised that he was still talking to himself out loud. Cole groaned and turned around onto his side. Fall asleep Cole, come on, he thought to himself. If you fall asleep, everything will be different when you wake up! Cole laughed to himself as he realised, that again he was stuck in an awkward predicament. “How do I do this to myself?” He sighed.

When Cole woke up, he saw Phoebe pacing around the room. “What’s up?” He groaned out loud. His eyes were blurred, but he could see that Phoebe looked upset. “Are you sure Coop didn’t say anything to you before he left?” Phoebe asked Cole as she sat down next to him. “Erm… No” Cole replied as he sat up a little bit. “Why?” He asked. “He isn’t answering when I call him” Phoebe replied. Cole narrowed his eyes at her. “And why would you be calling him?” Cole asked. Phoebe took a deep breath. “Because I need to talk to him” She answered. “Why?” Cole asked again as he stood up. “I want to get this sorted.” Phoebe informed him as she stood up with him. Cole clenched his fists again. Must. Remain. Calm. He thought to himself. “Why would you call him while I wasn’t there? Surely its something to do with all of us?” He asked her. “Cole, I want to sort this out. Its not for you to know just yet. Its between Coop and I.” Phoebe lashed out. Cole recoiled. “If that’s the way you feel Phoebe, then I seriously think we should consider us” Cole said to her. “What do you mean?” She asked, turning to look at him in surprise. “I mean that, if you truly think that whats happening between yourself and Coop, is nothing to do with me, then you are mistaken, and need to rethink what I mean to you!” Cole blurted out. “Come on Cole, you don’t mean that!” Phoebe said walking towards him. He backed away from her. “Cole!” She begged. “You know I love you!” Phoebe backed him into a corner. “You have a funny way of showing it, because Im not convinced!” He told her. He pushed her back a little bit so he could get past her. “God dammit Cole, don’t make this about you!” Phoebe burst out again. “It is about me! Its about us. Its about our future together! Don’t you see?” Cole exclaimed. With all his might, he just couldn’t seem to get her to understand that there were two of them in the relationship. “You keep cutting me out, and I feel like it’s the Phoebe Coop show, featuring Cole. It should be the other way round!” Cole felt a tear fall down his face. He brushed it away defiantly and looked across the room at Phoebe. “You’re killing me Phoebe. Slowly, but surely, my heart is breaking” Phoebe dashed up to his side. “Baby, Im sorry! I just need to get my head sorted.” Phoebe whispered to him. “And you cant do that with the one person you’re meant to?” He asked her as he peered into her eyes. Phoebe didn’t answer, and Cole knew he had to leave. “Ill be at the apartment” He told her bluntly. He turned round to stare at her, and watched as she just sat there. He shimmered out, unable to deal with the hurt that he was feeling.
Cole arrived back at the apartment a couple hours later. He had shimmered all over creation trying to calm himself down, and trying to figure out what had happened to Coop. He sat down on the couch, and took the time to think. “Why does she always need him?” He asked out loud. “Because she loves him, and not you” Cole jumped as he heard a voice from behind him. His heart plummeted as he turned around and saw Lyndsey there. “Oh Belthazar” She whined as she came round the sofa and sat next to him. “Just what are we going to do with you?” She said as she stroked his face. Cole pushed her away and jumped off the sofa as if it were about to bite him. “What are you doing here?” He spat. “And more to that, what the hell did you do with Coop?” He asked again. “I took care of your problem. The least you could do is be nice!” Lyndsey purred as she walked towards him. Cole looked at her billowing blonde hair and her gorgeous blue eyes as she stopped in front of him. “I thought that if I helped you, you would help me” She said to him again. She leant closer to him. “I cant just let a criminal go, its not the person I am anymore…” Cole told her. He caught himself thinking about what that life would be like, again. Cole shook his head and backed away, Lyndsey walked towards him again. He felt paralyzed as she moved forwards and leant in to kiss him. Once again, his lips seared red hot, but this time he liked it. He felt immersed, dangerous, like his old self. His heart was pounding, his hands were shaking, his head was pounding from excitement. “What the…” Cole jumped back and looked towards the elevator. It was Phoebe. “Oh, hello!” Lyndsey said, politely. Cole looked at her strangely. “Phoebe!” He exclaimed.

Everyone looked at each other for what felt like an eternity, until Phoebe made the first move and closed the doors on the elevator. “Phoebe!” Cole cried after her. He made a start to stop the doors but Lyndsey stopped him. “Belthazar! Don’t! You and I could do great things together!” Lyndsey told him. He looked back at her, seeing that her eyes had flashed red again. “You’re crazy!” Cole told her. “How much do you long to break free?” Lyndsey asked him. Cole pulled away from her, and walked to the liquor cupboard. “Leave me witch!” He growled. “Cole!” He looked up as she called him his real name. “Please help me with Ramone!” She pleaded with him. “NO!!” He roared. Lyndsey jumped, shocked that he was getting so angry. So angry that he looked at his hands to find them turning red. So angry that he turned to look in the mirror to find that he had turned into Belthazar. So angry that he summoned a fireball. So angry that he launched the fireball across to Lyndsey. His heart jumped when he witnessed the fireball go right through her and hit the other side of the apartment. Belthazar walked over to Lyndsey. “What are you?” He asked her. She was a mystical being, he thought. Fairly powerful too. “I told you, we can do great things together…” She replied. “The Seer?” He asked. She didn’t reply, and the pull to kill from Belthazar was being too much for Cole to cope with. He picked her up and pinned her up by the neck. “Belthazar… I am the Seer reincarnated” Lyndsey told him struggling for breath. Cole dropped her and morphed back into his usual self. “Why are you ruining my life again?” Cole asked her. “Take a seat.” Lyndsey told him. Cole looked at her disgusted. Too many thoughts going through his mind to even contemplate getting into a discussion with her. “SIT!” She exclaimed. Cole did as he was told this time, and flopped down on to the sofa behind him. “Are you ready?” She asked him. Cole opened his mouth, but no sound came out. He was too over whelmed that his life was again falling down around his ears. “Ramone is…” Lyndsey started, and took a deep breath. “You see, its really very funny!” She giggled nervously. “Out with it” Cole demanded. “Right! Ok, Mr Grumpy” Cole was getting annoyed again, and Lyndsey could tell. “Ramone is the new Source, without his powers.” Lyndsey blurted out. Cole sat there in stunned silence. “How?” He asked. Very confused. “I thought that the Charmed Ones had vanquished the Source when they vanquished me?” Cole asked. “The creature in the Underworld ate his powers” Cole said again. He was astounded that the Seer was even contemplating that this guy was the Source. And to that matter, he didn’t understand how the Seer had gotten back. “Why are you back?” He asked the Seer. “How many more questions?” She asked. “All circumstances considered, I deserve to ask questions!” Cole reasoned with her, though getting very annoyed as he continued to think. “I don’t have time for answers! I need to get to Phoebe!” Cole cried, reality setting in. He jumped up, and began pacing again. “She just saw me kissing some other woman!” He cried. “What am I going to do?” He kicked over the table, and sent a photograph flying, which smashed against the balcony doors. Cole walked over to the picture followed by Lyndsey. He bent down and picked it up. “Pretty little witches, need a Knight in Shining Armour.” Lyndsey said to him. Cole fell to the floor. “I am that Knight!” He cried. “I make her happy!” “No, Coop made her happy, you basically filled a hole when you came back” “No! She loves me!” Cole cried again. “I killed him for your own good, so you could see that Phoebe needs him, and not you!” The Seer teased him. Cole jumped up. “Im not listening.” Cole told her defiantly. “Ill show you that she loves me” He told the Seer as he shimmered out.

Thanks for your comments! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cole shimmered into the Manor. “Piper?” He called, hoping the catch the older sister, as she would more than likely know where Phoebe was. “No, but you got Paige!” Paige came bounding into the living room, and then realising who it was, groaned and rolled her eyes. “Oh, its just you” She greeted. “Cheers, have you seen Phoebe?” He asked her quickly. Paige looked at Cole suspiciously. “No, last I heard she was headed to your apartment to try and make things better between the two of you…” Paige let the sentence hang. Cole walked over to a seat and sat down. Paige followed him. “Whats up?” She asked, curiously. He tutted. Trust you to be nosy huh Paige. “Phoebe saw me kissing that wacko woman who tried it before” Cole explained. He may have been twisting the truth a little bit, as, to be fair, the wacko woman knew him, but anything was better than the whole truth. Or so he thought. “Oh Cole” Paige sighed as she stood up. Cole looked at her, this was not the reaction he was expecting, truth be told. “I knew you would do something to jeopardise it once again” She continued as Cole watched her pace round and round. “Paige, Im not here to be judged by you, Lord knows you have done it anyway, Im looking for Phoebe!” Cole campaigned. “I don’t know where she is, but I don’t think you’re going to get out of this one!” Paige told him. The sound of a baby crying in the distance put Paige off continuing to tease Cole. “Oh, baby. Well, bye!” Paige said as she dashed off, feeling rather chipper. Cole shook his head in detest. “Why did I marry into this family?” He muttered. He heard an evil laughing, and spun round quickly to see who it was. There was no one there. “Must be hearing things now, just great” He muttered again. Resigned to the fact that he wasn’t going to find Phoebe at the Manor, he shimmered out, and arrived in a secluded place at the Bay Mirror. He walked in, and amongst the hustle and bustle, strained his eyes to see if he could see Phoebe. “Mr Turner?” He heard someone call. Cole looked and saw Elise walking towards him. “Where is Phoebe today?” She asked him quizzically. “I wish I knew” Cole replied, as honestly as he could. “I take it she isn’t here then?” He asked Elise, just to make sure. “No, and she hasn’t been for a couple of days. We have post flooding in, and my sales are dropping because Phoebe isn’t in the paper. Tell her to call me as soon as she can!” Elise demanded, and with that she turned on her heels and walked back into her office. Cole walked out of the doors and thought long and hard about where Phoebe may be. “The mausoleum!” He cried, and instantly felt embarrassed as people looked at him and gave him a funny stare. “Think I er… Must have left my… er phone there!” He tried to explain to people who were still staring at him. He walked off quickly to find another secluded place where he could easily slip away. Once he found one, he again shimmered, and this time he found himself in the mausoleum. “Phoebe?” He called. He heard something move, and looked around the room. “Phoebe, is that you?” He called again. He felt a sharp stinging pain in his back. “Ouch, what the…” He turned round and saw Phoebe stood there, red eyed and brandishing what looked like the entire of Piper’s potion cupboard. “What was that for?!” He cried at her, foolishly. He ducked as another got sent his way. Cole ran towards her, and held her arms down. “Phoebe, Im sorry!” He started. It was the only thing he could think of saying right then. “Why were you kissing that blonde?” Phoebe asked. “In our apartment” she finished. “Phoebe, I was being manipulated.” Cole told her. “Ha!” She exclaimed. “Iv heard some things Cole Turner, but you could have at least come up with a better lie than that!” Cole rolled his eyes. He couldn’t win. He tells lies, he gets mocked. He tells the truth and still gets mocked. “Don’t you roll your eyes!” Phoebe screamed at him. “Its been four months Cole! Just four months!” “Well, maybe if you hadn’t been rejecting me and looking out for Coop, none of this would have happened!” Cole threw back at her, instantly regretting it as he saw the look on his fiancées face. “Oh, so now its my fault?” She asked him. Cole felt like he was in a soap opera. “No, Im not saying that. Look, this woman is an evil witch, and as I discovered tonight, the Seer reincarnated.” Cole started. He figured he may as well just tell her the truth and see where it got him. “She was using her powers of manipulation over me to try and get me to free a prisoner, who she claims is the next Source of all Evil” He continued. If the situation hadn’t have been so serious, he would have laughed at the sight of Phoebe’s face. “Are you kidding me?” She asked him, walking around the room to get closer to him. “You’re full of some sh-” “Phoebe! Its true!” Cole cried. “I could have said something else!” He started. “Even if I did believe you, which is very hard to do, why would the Seer come after you?” She asked. Cole looked around. “Phoebe, this isn’t really the place to talk about it, is it?” He asked. “You’re right, we’ll go back to the Manor, so you can tell my sisters your cockbull stories too! Oh Paige will love this one!” Phoebe exclaimed. Cole sighed. I cant win! He thought, I tell the truth and I still get mocked!

Wow Sammi. After Cole keeps lying and lying. When he finally tells the truth, no one is going to believe him. He should figure that out. Poor Phoebe, seeing Cole with another woman. I know what is going on, but Phoebe doesn't. I can see why she is acting the way she is. Excellent update Sammi.
