Can you make the sisters not quite as big? Then it will look more like a DVD cover and a bit more balanced.

Yes, but it's supposed to be balanced. If there were some free space between the word "Charmed" and the sisters, it would look a lot better. The size of the wallpaper is fine. The size of the sisters isn't. Check the wallpapers in the contest that the members liked and you'll see what I mean. A single picture doesn't dominate the entire wallpaper. That works great for banners, siggies and avis, but not wallpaper. It takes away from your beautiful background.
