No but I was getting the impression that people were actually going to call her Ladybug. It's used more expressivly, like darling or honey.

Wyatt, Chris and Henry Jr (all given), Piper's daughter, I think would be Prudence Melinda and they'd call her Melinda, Phoebe, in my fanfics, has daughters named Phoenix (starts and sounds like Phoebe's own name), Psyche (a nod to hubby Coop as Psyche is the wife of Eros and the Goddess of soul mates) and Peyton (although that was just because I could not come up with anything better- but I sure do like Pandora), Paige I saw as going traditional/original, she has twin daughters, her biological father's name is Sam, her sisters' father's name is Victor, I named the twins Samantha and Victoria - kept family names but for once honored the fathers...which she also did by naming her son Henry Jr. I see people wanting to honor past generations (Penny and Patty...) but to me, those are already characters, the names are taken. When you watch a show or read a book you don't want several characters all having the same name, it just gets confusing and yeah, Grams is dead but that doesn't stop her from poppin' down on occasion. But, I think that explains the Prudence MELINDA name as well. Prue was a beloved character, Melinda we saw once, ok twice if you count her birth, but still less confusing to use her middle name. In my series I actually have an alternate reality version of Phoebe's baby source that vanquished itself, Cole named him Phobos.

OOPS! I admit I read this quickly and missed that Michelle was the name of Paige's childhood friend.

Keeping that in mind, Mikelle and Michelle make perfect sense for the twins.

Anyone want to make bets how many of these will actually be the names in the comic books? I'm betting on two - Wyatt and Chris.

According to the Charmed #1, we now know that Piper & Leo's daughter's name is Melinda and "Ladybug's" name is Prue.

I couldn't disagree with both more if I tried. Piper's should be Prue, not Phoebe's, especially because Piper's is older.

Also it appears that Paige's twins are older than Henry Jr. because they are already born (although not named yet) and Henry Jr. isn't.

Es, I agree with you. I just can't see Piper *not* calling her daughter Prudence Melinda. Even though I've done it before in a fanfic where Piper's daughter was Melinda and Phoebe's daughter was Prue, I only did that because I had two going on at the same time and I wanted to make sure I distinguised between the two. There was never at a time that I *believed* that was the way it would happen.

Had Prue not died, then Piper's daughter would have definitely been Melinda. However, when Wyatt was born Piper distinctively said that she wanted Wyatt to be called Prudence Melinda (of course he was a boy so she couldn't do that) but she was very stuck on that name and I couldn't see her giving it up unless she *knew* that she would never have a daughter.

Phoebe wasn't as close to Prue but I think she did miss Patty much more than the other two sisters - a little to do with the fact that she'd never knew her properly before she died. Which is why I think Phoebe would have named her first daughter after her mom.

I think Paige would have gone the non traditional route. She'd have wanted her adoptive parents as middle names and even possibly Grams, since we had the episode where Paige was adament on not calling Grams "Grams" but in the end gave in. First names though, I think she would have gone with names that she liked. If it wasn't for Kern naming Henry Jnr in Forever Charmed, then I would have given him another names.

Another name I get annoyed with is the reason for Chris' name. Leo *never* taked about his parents but all of a sudden Chris was a name that was decided because it was Leo's father's name. I don't mind Leo wanting to name a child after his parents, but couldn't something have been said earlier?

So then, the names that I use most of the time...

Piper and Leo:

Wyatt Matthew Halliwell (named on the show)

Christopher Victor Halliwell (Piper saw how close Chris and Victor were and also after he came back into their lives, Victor spent time with the girls as much as he could and looked after Wyatt even though Wyatt would have lots of demons after him.)

Prudence Melinda Halliwell (the name Piper wanted to give Wyatt)


Phoebe and Coop:

Patricia Grace Halliwell (after her mom and an ancestor)

Patience Brianna Halliwell (like Es, I loved the idea of the long birth and Coop saying "Patience!" I never got the "love" bit though and went for another name on the family tree since I think Phoebe was a little more traditional and closer to her family routes than the other sisters)

Poppy Charlotte Halliwell (Grams' mother and Melinda's mother)


Paige and Henry:

Henry Robert Mitchell (Robert is the name of Paige's adopted dad)

Holly Penelope Mitchell (the twins are born on xmas day in my fic so she named the older twin Holly and then gave her Grams' name as a middle name)

Haley Janet Mitchell (There's no real reason for Haley but Janet is Paige's adopted mum)
